Concerned by the pricing, I called the owner for clarification (Anthony Hunter). He stated their rate was $275 per hour, but also explained that they bill using detailed line items. Based on the estimate we received, the effective hourly cost was significantly higher than what we consider reasonable or competitive for this type of work. My issue is not with Nick personally, he was professional, but with the pricing model and the way the estimate was structured. The quote we received was dramatically higher than market and left me with little confidence that the billing practices are transparent or customer-focused. I would encourage anyone considering this company to obtain multiple quotes and carefully review all line items before proceeding. Similar companies charge $100-$200/hour - this pricing model is egregious. These are not lawyers, this is run of the mill handy-man work.
