This park is not only beautiful, it's so much fun. There's so much space and walking paths. There's a smaller playground for toddlers, and and larger one for older kids. There's a swing set. And the coolest slide ever. My kids spent at least 20 minutes playing on the slide. There's plenty of shaded areas because the park is surrounded by beautiful tall trees. I seriously cannot wait to go back.

There was excitement coming from the park and waterpark. There were tons of local vendors. I truly enjoyed all the sampling at the farmers market. Don Biddle Park is a beautiful park located in the heart of Dublin. Despite its beauty, there are…read moresome drawbacks. When we visited, it had only been open for a month or two. The first time we went, it was packed to the brim (mainly with field trip groups, though there were plenty of other kids there too). People could barely move around the main playground, and we were stuck spending most of our time on the purple playground. The second time we visited, the same thing happened. It would be nice if there were a maximum-capacity sign and perhaps even a reservation system for the playground. It would be much more enjoyable if visitors could actually move around and use the equipment without such heavy crowds.

Since there are SO MANY play areas and structures to explore and enjoy, I have never heard her say she is bored. Our daughter can exist here for hours with snacks and water at hand. Kids are ALWAYS here so it is easy to find a playmate, if needed, for the day. There are restrooms directly behind the big play area with multiple stalls. It is well maintained and usually stocked. There are lots of benches, both with and without backs, surrounding the various play areas. There are numerous hammocks surrounding the park (closest to the swing area).. Be careful not to get too relaxed and misplace your lil one(s). It gets pretty hot out here and with the absence of shaded benches, bring a blanket to sit beneath a tree or an awning and chairs if you're fancy. Parking is directly outside the park. With ample parking it is difficult to not find a spot. During summer months it gets a little harder do arrive early. A grass area separates play from parking. There are plenty of bike racks as well. If you do not feel like driving the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is a 12 minute walk away. If we ever explored this option I would have to bring a wagon. After play I doubt our little one would want to trek the journey. There are very few food options nearby so definitely come with snacks and drinks. There are working water fountains throughout the park (not refill stations). Come, enjoy! You can make a day of play here without spending a dime.

You have to be patient going through all those roundabouts to get there, but it's worth it. Plenty of free parking, of course. Ther are a variety of large athletic fields, trails and lots of facilities. The day that I visited to go geocaching , i walked a beautiful trail near castlewood golf course. Honestly, it's hard to imagine a better asset than that this wonderful park.Thank you Pleasanton for adding such a beautiful park to our community.

There's merry go rounds, slides, climbing structures, Teeter totter, etc. Loved the art structures when you first walk in. There is also a Music area, sign language and braille learning signs along with a picnic area, small exercise area and YAY restrooms! Added to the list of great FREE places to go!

They stock trout, catfish, bluegill, and black bass, and have convenient monofilament and fluorocarbon recycling bins. Parking fee is $5 (and plenty of it), as well as fishing, and additional fees if you bring boats here. There is no reception in various areas. It looks like it's a poppin' place for hiking, picnics, and other recreational activities. There is swimming allowed in the main lake only, though it's not the cleanest lake I've seen. The entire park area is quite expansive, that you'll have to drive around to visit everything efficiently. I suppose you can hike, but the road is a bit gravelly, rocky, uneven, and dirty with random poop. If you're walking to some of the fishing docks, you'll have to be careful about trekking up and down the hills with your gear. It could have been the day, but this was one of my least favorite fishing spot around the bay. The fishing docks were whatever, the fish weren't biting, the cleanliness wasn't there, and the trails were annoying. It started hailing/heavy raining randomly on our spot, even though it was going to be a warm afternoon. Also, an otter stole one of our catches. Still, the topography was interesting so I'd be open to coming here again to see if I'm being unappreciative.

Lovely place to get on the water in Pleasanton - we stopped by with our newly purchased paddle…read moreboards earlier this month. There is a $5 parking fee and a $7 boat inspection fee (inspections are valid for a month) as they are concerned about mussels getting into the lake. After parking, we inflated our paddle board and lowered it into the water, which was clean and calm. We all took it out for a spin, some of us staying close to shore, others venturing much further. Some of us rowed sitting down, others paddled standing up, till we were all tired and hungry and decided to call it a day. Will be back!
