Updating my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've now lived near this park for over three years and I go ALL the time with my family. My dog loves playing fetch in the field (and if there are too many people in the field we can always go to the dog park). My 13 month old daughter LOVES the playground. There are always a bunch of kids and parents and everyone is really friendly. We also took advantage of the community pool this summer -- what a Godsend and admission is only $1. Additionally, my wife has been taking my daughter to the children's reading events at the Rincon library branch which is located right in the middle of the park: they love it. This park is wonderful and one of the absolute best parts of living in this neighborhood.

Admittedly, I have not been to this park in over 5 years and was pleasantly surprised to find it remodeled. The best part was there are restrooms (which is rare for older neighborhood parks in Livermore). Two to be exact and on top of that, fairly clean! That is already a big plus in my book. Furthermore, I love the new design of this park with a lot more shade for hot summer days. The turf is also nice so those who are wearing open toed shoes can avoid the dreaded tan bark/wood chips scenario. As other have mentioned, the surrounding area is older and undergoing some renovations so it is not quite as pleasant. Loud construction sounds as well as half completed projects surround the park. All in all, I can see great things happening for this area in the future. Will surely visit again.

Signage. Almost all attractions in grass area.

This also coincides with their farmer's market. I came here last Thursday to catch "Pop Fiction", a cover band. I arrived at 5:40 PM, 20 minutes before the concert, so I walked around to check out the farmer's market. There are food trucks, fruits, veggies, seafood, pastries, and lots more. The concert is at the Amphitheater, which has a couple tiers of lawn area. Early birds take up the back section and set up their tents and tables. We had a few folder chairs, and brought our own food for a little picnic. "Pop Fiction" was high energy and did a good job with songs from the '70's to today. They were a little pitchy at times, but everyone was just having a good time. As the evening progressed, more people came up front to dance or sway. There's no shade on the lawn, so definitely bring sunscreen and hats. The park itself is huge, but I didn't have time to check it all out. We enjoyed the concert and picnic. We'll probably be back for another one before the summer is done.

The atmosphere was so amazing. There was excitement coming from the park and waterpark. There were tons of local vendors. I truly enjoyed all the sampling at the farmers market. There's tons of green space with courts available - like basketball and tennis. Corn hole was being played as well. It was so much fun!
