While waiting in exam room they do have electronic sign board with scrolling medical knowledge that you can read while waiting. The board is interactive where you can touch to advance forward. It even has a drawing tool that the Dr/patient can use to show/pinpoint the pain areas, which is pretty cool to be interactive and communicate in different ways effectively. This was my first ever visit to G.I. doctors office to address potential concern and Dr Brandon Rieders [Jr] was very thorough on questions, physical exam and advise on possibilities of cause and all available options forward that are available. We were easily able to agree on next step actions and followup appointment easily made upon exiting. All staff members around him were pleasant and kind to interact with as well. This office upon 1st visit and glance seem to fluidly be working like a well oiled machine, and look forward to results and next visit if needed.

Nobody called me back that day, despite their office being open until 6pm. They called me back morning of 11/06/25, not because they'd received my messages but to confirm appointment. I told them I'd called their office four times the day prior. "Oh, we were busy" was their reply. I canceled my appointment and will find a different Gastro Doctor. I worked in a medical office for ten years, we would never have let four calls go unreturned.

Dr. Kadish immediately responded to the E.R. from his home. My brother was brought into the operating room. They were able to remove the impaction with a combination of medication to relax the esophagus and with an endoscope. My brother did not need to be surgically treated. It was a lifesaver. My husband's mother had colon cancer when she was in her early 20's. In her 40's, she had another bought of colon cancer, as well is in her 60's. She did live until she was 80 years old, but with recurrence of colon cancer, it places all of her children at high risk. So my husband goes for screening colonoscopies every 5 years. The procedure is painless, as he is placed under conscious sedation. The procedure can be videotaped for future viewing if it has to be. The doctor (Fenster) and nurses are all very caring and take their time to answer all questions. Due to irritable bowel disease, I also go in for periodic check-ups and colonoscopies. The premises are very clean, the equipment is state-of-the-art and the personnel are very professional and compassionate. The front desk personnel are also very professional. I do not hesitate recommending this practice to all that need any type of gastroenterological care. Hemorrhoids, reflux, stomach pain, gas, rectal bleeding, etc. I feel like I am in very safe hands at this establishment.

If she was ever working in New York city offices, she would be fired. You don't speak to the doctor's patients or anyone as a matter of fact like that. I called him and told him what my experience was with her on my first visit, and it has not changed.

I don't usually leave negative reviews , especially about doctors and their staff, but this is an exceptional situation. Recently I requested a clearance letter from the doctor so I can return to work. I initially asked Kathy for the letter to be mailed, not realizing it was time sensitive and that I needed it by Monday. When I requested it to be faxed to my place of employment she said no, and abruptly hung up the phone. When my place of employment contacted her on my behalf, she was equally rude and abrupt. Dr. Ingber is a very good doctor, but you have to go through her to see him. I have to go for a follow up visit, and sincerely hopecshe is not there the day I have to go in.

I am 60 years old, have been going to the doctor forever and this is the first and only time in my life where I have ever felt that a doctor had absolutely no interest, desire, or care to work with, or help me whatsoever. My story is, I supposedly needed to get pulmonology clearance for an ERCP Endoscopy due to intense gastrointestinal pain I was experiencing for over a month. I went to Leeman seeking this clearance and here is my non embellished, true experience: First Visit ($50 Copay) - He did a breathing test and told me it was "not too bad". He asked me to go get blood work and told him I had that with my Gastroenterologist, as well as Cardio clearance as well, and requested his office contact them for copies. He then told me to go get a chest X-ray and come back again, for which I went slogging in a rainstorm to get - that very same day. He made me go to his radiology place and refused to talk to anyone else for me. It was Zwanger-Peseri or nothing. I knew right there I was in some trouble here. No other Doctor is that inflexible. He mentioned to me several times about some app to make appointments on, so I even signed up for that and did as he asked. Did he know I did that? Nope. Clueless. Second Visit - ($50 copay) - He asked me to come back again with my medication vials in a bag to prove to him what meds I take. I have never EVER been asked that by any doctor I have EVER visited and thought this was way over the top, but since I thought I needed his help, I complied. So, like a bag lady I went back with my meds in hand a week later, still in pain, and he was not interested at all. He then did another breathing test which he told me "wasn't great" and that's it. He also loves to say the same thing all of the time" we like to get as much information as possible, we need blood work and cardiology information". I gave him all of this info at my first visit, where to obtain it as all of my blood work and clearances went to my Gastroenterologist, and I asked him to have his staff contact this doctor again because the insurance Company would never pay for another set of labs so close together, any Dr. would realize this. His response was "ok, make another appointment, are you are on my app"? Not trying to disrespect anyone, but the guy is clueless. Maybe this is why there are no workers in his office and I had to sit there for 20 minutes? After 20 minutes, I knocked on the door for to see if anyone was there, and he himself came to the door and told me to sit down, wait, and shut up. I continued to participate in the charade because I thought I needed this for my procedure as I mentioned. 3rd & final appointment: I refuse(d) to pay this $50 copay because I got absolutely nothing out of 2 prior visits, and was asked the same things over and over with his office not wanting to do anything at all to help me, including call my other doctor for lab work results and Cardio clearance. It was as though it was my first visit ever to him. He actually asked me again "what are you here for"? I was beside myself and noticeably annoyed at his lack of concern for the pain I was experiencing which I deeply conveyed. It is so bad I am thinking of reporting him to the AMA and NYS Medical board for just a total lack of patient awareness and care. As I said, I have never felt so unwanted at any Doctors office as I did at his. To conclude, I had my ERCP Endoscopy yesterday, did not need his help or clearance after all and wasted my wits, money, and time, so all I can do after that is warn anyone thinking of going to Doctor Benjamin Leeman TO STAY THE HECK AWAY unless you want to go to a Doctor who could care less about his patients well being. If that is what you seek, Leeman is your guy.
