This place was part of our food and beverage tasting event yesterday. It was great timing as my doctors figured out all my inflammation was due to drinking bottled water from the home delivery. Water sitting in plastic on those hot trucks then consuming it has made me really ill. I was able to get glass bottles so no more plastic. The other part was I was retaining so much water and having to buy electrolytes. Their mineral water comes with all the good things like electrolytes and minerals!!! All three people including the owner were very knowledgeable about water, plastics, etc. Found out all plastics have BPA except one right now and there was a bill passed that all plastics will require 50% of reusable plastic in them. read more

Liquid Eden is more than just a water store, it's a place of tranquility and peace. The customer service is always elite and you just feel great every time you walk in there. They put in a lot of effort to make sure their is a flow and airiness inside their business. They also just happen to have the best water in San Diedo, their mineral water tastes wayyyyyyyyyy better than any mineral water I've drank and their cooking water is super clean and crisp. Service is always great!!! Employees are very knowledgeable and very patient when educating you. Water is amazing you can taste how clean and refreshing it is. It's hard for me now to drink anything else. It's crazy how you can taste the quality of water from store bought water. You can just taste the impurities and added chemicals to store bought water and tap. Liquid Eden right when you enter the doors you are greeted with a warm welcoming smile. Did you know you pay $2.50 a gallon for drinking water at Liquid Eden...whereas the other water stores charge $0.55 - $0.60 a gallon for their drinking water? I've been going to Liquid Eden since they opened and never really stopped to compare prices at the different water stores. The difference is huge! I needed to refill my bottles on Thursday, drove by the store twice...once over lunchtime and again around 6pm. No parking either time, even after circling the block a couple of times. And then they are closed on Friday and I really needed water by then, so I decided to refill my bottles at another store. When the other store rang me up for $5 for my 9 gallons, I actually thought they'd made a mistake. I've been paying around $15 to fill my bottles at LE, and that's for half drinking and half distilled. It would cost ~$22 to get 9 gallons of drinking water. Instead I paid $5. The drive might be a little further to get to the other water stores, but for that difference it's completely worth it. read more

I found this place 100% by chance. I drove by and thought "a water store. What does that mean?" So I parked and went in. Oh my goshhhh was I in for a treat. I've been a self proclaimed "water snob" for, well, ever really. I'm from Seattle and the tap water there is actually really really good but San Diego tap water is straight up trash. Liquid Eden is an excellent solution. It's a little bit expensive compared to other water stores but they don't provide mineral water. You get what you pay for folks. read more

Do you want lead and arsenic in your water? Liquid Eden may have you covered. I purchased around 200 gallons of Liquid Eden's mineralized water and enjoyed the taste. Customer service was always friendly too. However, when I learned that the main mineral supplier from their source was sued for high levels of lead, arsenic, and other heavy metals I was very alarmed. I contacted the owner several times to request a water quality report and received no response. I also went into the store and was assured the owner would contact me. They did not. Really pretentious clerk woman at the store today (August 19,2020). She educated me on the hazards of alkaline water, yet had an elitist attitude on alternative water consumption other than the water distributed at her store. She felt like white privilege at its finest- in the guise of a flowy flower child. Oh the masks people wear. I understand consumerism, and being proud of your goods. What I don't understand is the privilege and entitlement this woman carried in her language towards a person of color who doesn't have the luxuries of shopping for this kind of water at all times. All I asked were simple alternatives; and she refused to provide humanitarian advice- it was alarming! Her tone was so condescending it felt immediately classist. Also to base your entire mission statement on a Zac Efron episode of a Netflix documentary? Absurd and tacky- even if it has valid points, capitalist scum. This place is wonderful. The first time I walked into this center, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had lived in the suburbs of CT for most of my life & always had well water which was clean & fresh. When I moved to the city, I quickly learned the water wasn't healthy to drink. Someone mentioned Liquid Eden as an option, and also mentioned that as a company, it valued consciousness and positive vibrations. It turns out I became an instant customer. The way they filter their water & care to be environmentally conscious about not being wasteful in their process is beautiful. The tanks have crystals hanging on them, or tastefully places around the bases. There are positive blessings & word stickers on each tank, the artisan store is well maintained, always clean and supports local business owners. It is my understanding that Trisha, the owner, is mindful about who she does business with & who she hires to work in the center. Energy, integrity and mutual fulfillment is how she seems to conduct her company. I honor this and because of that will always be a faithful supporter of Liquid Eden. read more

The employees here are always pleasant and accommodating. However, today I came in as I usually do to fill up my water, walked up to pay, and the lady at the counter proceeded to check me out and I heard her refer the water that I was purchasing as "cooking water." I ask her what she meant and she informed me that it is just distilled water. My jaw dropped because I've been coming here and getting water thinking it was regular filtered water this whole time. When I first came here I was told the two kinds are both are drinkable and one just has added minerals for extra benefits and flavor. After expressing my astonishment, I asked if I could switch it out to the drinkable water. She proceeded to ignore my question and told me to look up how to add minerals to the reverse osmosis water. Definitely disappointed in this experience. I hope they better inform others with correct information and accommodate others better if they happen to fill with the incorrect water. read more

Ive been buying their water since 1st of September. And I am totally hooked! I met Firdosa, and she introduced me to the variety of the water. I immediately sensed the energy, I felt I belonged there! Perfect fit in, completely yolked. I continue to visit weekly for my drinking and cooking, and I am so happy with the quality. They have been evolving into a formal but welcoming Holistic Center/ The Water is of the highest quality and recently they also display and sell products from local artisans. I have to say I absolutely love Liquid Eden. It so simple. It's a water store. What more do you expect. However, that's where they get you! The atmosphere is amazing. They friendly and polite staff are even better. I go there roughly once a week, once every two weeks to fill my 5 gallon jug and I'm constantly greeted with a friendly face and upbeat attitude. Grade A++ water, been going here for months since I moved into the area. They offer two options water-wise: purified, reverse osmosis drinking water, and the same, but with added electrolytes and minerals. I've filled up with both, but I typically opt for the latter. I definitely recommend the mineral/electrolyte-infused water for training, as it does a much better job of hydrating. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff! If I HAD to pick a con... Went in to fill my two 5 gallon jugs. This isn't my typical water store but I was in the area. I noticed only two type of water choices 1. Distilled/Reverse Osmosis (which didn't make sense because these are two different processes) for .65 cents a gallon & 2. Mineral purified water $2.50 a gallon. I thought $2.50 was quite high as I usually pay $1 a gallon for high alkaline water at the store I usually go to. So, I decided to get the Reverse Osmosis .65 cents a gallon. After I was done filling my bottles, I went to the register to pay and the girl there proceeded to say that she saw I filled both my bottles up with distilled water and that if I'd like to know more about their water shed be happy to inform me. Wouldn't this of be nice to know before I filled my bottles? She went on into a sales pitch of how they have the best water around from any other water store and that their filtration process is different from anyone else. She seemed fake and pretentious and to be honest I was immediately put off. Irritated that I just wasted money on 10 gallons of completely distilled water and more annoyed about the "vibe" of the store and sales girl. Won't be back. There are other amazing water stores out there who aren't going to rip you off. read more

Pretty sure they overcharged me a couple times, I haven't said anything cause it's been a dollar or two here and there and I also don't have a receipt to prove it so I just let it be. It's interesting that there are many great reviews with a few scathing ones peppered throughout them, and that in those there is often a reference to a rude employee or experience where a patron was very condescended to. I truly understand why this is the case after my experience the other day and I would not be surprised if the harsh comments also came after customers dealt with the same woman I dealt with. I've gone into Liquid Eden a handful of times over the past few years for water and for other products (I'm not a weekly regular though, because $2.00 for a gallon of water is too high for my budget). I've always seen the same, kind woman working behind the counter. I don't know her name, but she is very down to earth and helpful. I saw a different woman there for the first time ever the other day. She was incredibly passive aggressive. It was basically combativeness, dripping in saccharine, just as others have mentioned in their reviews. She stood over my shoulder while I sanitized my bottles to make sure I wouldn't do so though for longer than recommended (I know this was the reason because she jumped down my throat about it before I even started to sanitize them). Then, after watching me walk over to the register with my two filled bottles and letting me get all the way there, she asked me to bring them back to the water station so that water wouldn't drip on the floor near her. First, I've never been asked to do that there. Second, there should be a sign if that's a rule. Third, she shouldn't have waited until I had already carried the bottles over there to tell me not to do it because that's incredibly rude and also any damage (dripped water) would've already been done. It seemed like it wasn't so much about the water on the floor but more about wanting to create a rule to throw at me so she could establish a power differential. This woman most likely does not want to be there and/or is generally very unhappy, which is sad. But this resentment should not be expressed outwardly as passive aggression or as a condescending power trip toward others -- especially in a customer service setting. Finally, when she charged me, the gallons were 50 cents more ($2.50) than they were just three weeks before. I found this strange as well since I've always been charged $2.00 per gallon. I prefer to have consistency in what I'm charged for things, as is true for most people, I'm sure. I definitely will not be returning to Liquid Eden for water refills again. I don't know whose decision it is to allow this woman to work with customers, but they should know that she is highly unpleasant to encounter and is doing damage to the business and its reputation. read more

Went here near the beginning of the year. I was helped by a very nice young woman who gave me a good idea of the two different types of water I offer. The customer service I received during this visit made me come back when I needed more water. I came in with my arms full of 3 empty 5 gallon bottles to a woman who I assume is the owner going through the long sales pitch with a costumer. She didn't offer any sort of greeting or instructions but she did take time out of her 10 min sales pitch to tell me off for trying to set the empty water bottles down on the floor. I then waited for her to complete her time with the customer. She then instructed me the proper place to set the water bottles down and tried to give me the same sales pitch. I then instructed her I didn't need to hear it because I had already been there several months ago. She then asked who had helped me because there were new hires and she said something to the effect of whoever helped me not doing a very good job of telling me how things work there. I'm not sure the owner realizes that the young woman who helped me initially actually had far superior customer service. The entire experience reminded me of being scolded by a teacher in middle school. Luckily a new water shopped across the street from me. read more

We visited this place for water and aromatherapy supplies while visiting San Diego for a month. The water quality is the best - reverse osmosis with minerals. We also got some aromatherapy candles and oils and were really pleased with the quality. Service was great. The staff were attentive and friendly. I never thought I would find myself reviewing a water store. In fact, before moving to California I didn't know there was such a thing as a water store. That said, in the spectrum of water stores, Liquid Eden is top notch. Yeah, you might be able to get water for half the price (.25/gal vs .50/gal) but the quality and convenience of Liquid Eden is undeniable. And really, who the heck knows what goes on with those street front machines around the neighborhood. A rusted out water dispenser doesn't really inspire trust for me. Probably the single greatest benefit to Liquid Eden is that they offer rechargeable cards so you don't have to have cash or a fistful of quarters to get your h2o fix. Throw 20 beans on the card and you're set for the next couple months. As an added bonus, they credit you a percentage extra when you put money onto your card. Nice touch. So thank you Liquid Eden for being a phenomenal (and friendly) local hydration spot. (To those concerned about "cooking water": they offer straight distilled water for .50/gal, and then electrolyte enhanced water as well, unsurprisingly more expensive. Distilled water is the same water you get from virtually any water machine in America. It is perfectly fine for drinking, and frankly excessive for most cooking. Electrolytes are nice admittedly, but not necessary for hydration. And honestly, I prefer the taste of the distilled anyway.) read more

Liquid Eden has been the best resource for obtaining truly great tasting water and at a very reasonable price. I would always go out of my way to let people know about them. They were fairly new to the neighborhood where I have been living for over 23 years. Small business that open here usually do not make it but by promoting this business by word of mouth I believed that i somehow have contributed to the success for their store. Everyone has to drink water this is true so I am always there filling up my tiny little water jugs. I've wanted to buy the 5 gallon jug they sell at Liquid Eden but could not afford it until just a week ago. I am going to school and struggling to make ends meet by delivering food and working a couple of odd jobs but I had a good week where I received a couple of tips enough to finally purchase this jug costing a little over 30 dollars. This may not seem like a lot of money to most but to me it was. I was so excited to use the jug and after taking home to wash it out I returned to fill it up. I was very disappointed when I opened the hatch of my car to find the jug was leaking! I returned today to talk to the owner about my issue and sure enough she stood there smiling and said the company does not offer refunds or returns! This info would of been a red flag if I was informed at the day of purchase. I wasn't told this or was not even offered a receipt that day but I always tend to trust people and give them the benefit of the doubt. After hearing her I paused waiting for a solution from her but nothing. Just standing there happy as pie smiling. This pissed me off even more. I then asked her if they could send it back to the company where it was made. She claims the company doesn't offer returns/refunds because the jug is made from some plastic that does not contain BPA and has been quality checked before leaving. What The hell?! This a drug has obviously been made with a defect, the water is leaking from the same at the bottom of the jug so this is no fault of mine. I told her so basically I'm screwed just paid over $30 for something I'm never going to use. I was really upset that she had no options or solutions for me. She finally says to me that she would offer a small discount toward another purchase. I told her no I am upset then I left the store. And now that I'm sitting here thinking about it why would I want to buy another bottle from them in hopes that it's not defected and if it was I could not get a return? Only an idiot would buy another jug from their store!! So in end I would like to say they have great water but terrible customer service and be AWARE THAT They do not offer refunds or returns!!!!
