Paul and the PB water store are awesome! They are a one stop water shop with alkaline water, purified water and anything else you need to stay hydrated. The 24 hour refill station in front is super clutch as well. I go at least twice a week- might be time to but bigger bottles! Super friendly owner and laidback vibe. Love this place! The dude who started this was a retired fireman (he passed recently), the wife is super sweet and their dogs are cool. They have candy for my kids when they come down with me and life is good. The vending machine outside works perfectly after hours so you don't have to stress about getting down there before they close. Hello, my name is Sandi, and I'm a water addict. I started to get concerned about the amount of plastic I was going through, buying water from Trader Joe's all the time. I started looking for an alternative, and found one just down the street from my house. The PB Water Store is a nice little place that has a huge filtration system for tap water. It's really good! Costs just 35 cents a gallon. They also sell water bottles, showerheads, ice, etc, but I just go for the H2O. There's also a dispenser outside if you need water at 3AM. The owners are really great people, super nice. They seem like the kind of people that would pick you up at the airport on short notice. While you're there, say hi to Dude, the dog. This place is the great blessing for all of us. This is the place to get your water about a year ago, I decided I was spending way too much on flavored drinks, they are expensive because of the packaging, all the sugars and preservatives, marketing, etc. PB has very tasty water. I'm now drinking about a half gallon of water a day and do not miss the crap from the grocery store... it'll clean you out! They have convenient parking close to the door, and Bruce and Terry and the big puppy are always there, friendly and will fill your bottles for you if you like. After a couple of days you won't miss those expensive drinks. Your coffee will taste better. And my grocery bill is much less now. read more

This is one of the greatest long-standing businesses that are in Pacific Beach. small shop ran by a great family their prices are great! their product is great and they even have water still available after hours out front using an automatic machine and yes it is the same water that you get inside I highly recommend this place their prices are so excellent $2.75 for a 5-gallon jug and $2.40 for a bag of ice you can't beat that anywhere and it's Crystal Clear and the best ice I've ever tasted in my life..5 read more

I switched from using the Brita water system to the P.B. Water Store. They are open 7 days a week, 7 am - 7 pm. Bruce originally showed me how to use the rinse area to clean out the container, then fill. They also sell BPA free water bottles. I bought one and leave it my car. .20 (20 cents) to fill up. We usually fill up a 3 gallon container. Its such a deal and the water tastes so great. They have a green curb right out front to get in and out as well as a fenced parking lot that is open when they are. Parking is free. I have never had to use their after hours self serve fill up, but that is an option too. If you are a business owner, they have an area for the community to place their card on 2 shelves right below the cashier shelf. That's handy if you are looking for someone local to help with other tasks at hand. They are diagonally across from The Patio on Lamont and Hornblend and diagonally behind The Broken Yolk. I can usually fit them in during my 'errand list'. Great place, there has never been a line, and I am in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

It was my first visit to this waterstore, so I was not familiar with their routine. I asked the lady behind the counter if they have alkaline water. She rudely responded to me and made me feel as if I was bothering her...She told me that it would be very expensive to fill my jug with her alkaline water and that her alkaline water is different than the alkaline water that I get from where I'm from. In the end, I had to buy a new jug from her and pay for overpriced alkaline water. What a horrible experience just to go get some water. My life has changed significantly since then -- for example, I moved to Mission Valley -- but I just wanted to mention that I STILL get my water from P.B. Water Store.
