The girl who did my tongue piercing pierced it way too far back. Put in a barbell that was WAY too short for healing. I had an awful healing time I couldn't even eat normal or talk almost immediately after. I went to another shop to get a second opinion and the swelling was so bad because of the short barbell that my tongue was EATING the top and bottom ball. I DO NOT recommend this place. Paid $50 for it to just have to get taken out two days later. If you're looking for a good place. I recommend Evolved Body Art. I waited a month after having it taken out and went to Evolved, they put in the right barbell and I've had minimal swelling and not near as much discomfort. Save your money, spend the extra at Evolved. They're the only ones I trust to do my piercings anymore. read more

Stopped in here today to get my dermal heads changed and to get a piercing. Walked in and the guy was so busy typing on his phone he didn't even notice I was there for a good ten minutes. When he finally asked cane out to the front I asked him how he was and he said "terrible. What do you want?" Really...? On top of that there was dirt, dust, trash and I kid you not FOOD on the floor. Disgusting. If the shop is that dirty there's NO way I'm letting them put a needle through my body and feel comfortable that it's sanitary. I just walked out and I'll never go back. I'll stick with Piercology. A little more pricey but at least it's clean. read more

The girl that did my piercing dropped the back of the earring on the floor, picked it up, then proceeded to attempt to put it in my ear without cleaning it off. I "heard" after the fact that she doesn't have her licence but just "helps out". That makes sense because she had really long acrylic nails and asked me to try to push it through myself because she couldn't get a grip on it. Very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. And needless to say, I left before she could finish. Ridiculous. read more

I have gotten 3 piercings and a tattoo there and have always been very happy. I have taken and referred others. Until tonight. I stopped in 15 minutes before closing (7:45) just to get a replacement for my Daith barbell because the ball fell off, and I didn't want to lose it and have issues getting one back in. Apparently posted closing times don't matter. Joe refused to help me because he was leaving. I won't be going back. That is not adequate customer service. read more

I saw artist Larry. The design he drew up for me was amazing. Like, seriously, way more awesome than i had hoped for. BUT his execution was...rough. A lot of lines are uneven, shading is spotty in a few places, and a few lines are crooked. I think he rushed through some of it, trying to get done faster. But for what i paid (not much!) I got my money's worth and, overall, am happy with my tattoo. As i said, SWEET design. read more

The first time I went to Liquid Vision the owner (Joe) did my tattoo. He was very awkward and actually had 2 high school girls there just hanging out (one was 17 and one was 18). Things got more strange when he told one of them that he recently bought some body paint and he wanted to know if she would let him try it out on her (keep in mind he is about 40 years old). If I was a woman or had a daughter I would have ran for the door but regardless of how ackward it was she did not seem to be impacted by his statement so whatever. The tattoo he did was pretty good and I just chalked it up to him being a bit strange so recently I made another appointment. Long story short, the owner cancelled on me 3 times so I ended up going to a different place and will never be back. The 1st time he was 30 minutes late to my appointment so I left, then he cancelled on me because he decided to go out of town, and then the 3rd time he said he HAD TO PICK UP HIS APPLE WATCH and that was more important then my appointment that was on the books for weeks!!! I told him I was going to take my business elsewhere and asked for my deposit back and he refused and called me disrespectful. In a nutshell go somewhere else. If you are a young woman he will harass you (I would REFUSE to let my daughter go there is I had one) and if you are a guy you are pretty low on his priority list. read more

I just a tattoo here and the experience was excellent. He listened to what I wanted and gave professional and courteous advise on how to make it the best work possible. Walked in today at 4:00 (hours posted on door are until 8 pm) and asked for piercing for my son. Son is clearly not a beginner; lip piercing, gauged ears, nose piercing, etc. I was told there wasn't time for a piercing. When I said we'd driven too far (29 miles) to come back tomorrow, the man reluctantly asked for i.d. My son had school i.d. and birth certificate. My driver's license was presented. He studied them and refused because my maiden name is listed on ODL and not on birth certificate. He was looking for a reason NOT to do tattoo and was not friendly. Got my nipples pierced here, it was pierced too close to my areola and as a result is way more swollen than it should be, also the piercer did not put in longer bars as the initial jewelry so my piercings started to embed due to not having any room to swell. To top it off, my nipple piercings are crooked. My friend got her belly button pierced here and she can feel the bar through her skin. It was pierced too close to the surface and doesn't sit right up top of her navel. DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE. DO NOT. Try to find someone that is APP certified!!!! Don't be fooled my the cheap prices. You get what you pay for. I would NOT recommend going to Liquid Vision for a piercing!! Their piercers are inexperienced! Four months ago I went in to get my daith done. The piercing healed up nicely, until the past couple days I have notices that the skin in front of the earring in shrinking or getting thinner. Worried and looking for trustworthy answers I went to another piercing shop I go to, for some help. She told me that my piercing would eventually fall out and that "I wouldn't have even pierced it because this would happen". If the piercers at Liquid Vision are as "experienced" as they claim to be, wouldn't you think they wouldn't have allowed for my daith to be pierced? Also the piercer forgot to mention how to clean my newly pierced ears. Thankfully I have other piercings so I know how to clean them (didn't not get other piercings at Liquid Vision). Along with not telling me how to clean my ear she forgot to let me chose the earring and what size it was. The experience overall was not good. I went in to get two piercings recently and it overall was an experience that made me not want to come back. I got no explanation about the piercing process, was not shown what was being put in my ear and when the girl actually spoke it was whispering, so I had to google the healing process/aftercare. It was awkward silence 80% of the time and she seemed like she had very little experience with piercing people or even communicating with people. Very frustrating. The sterilization process was a little sketchy also. All in all, I wouldn't come back for a piercing. And I do not recommend anyone else to get pierced here. read more

let me begin by saying i am a christian man. i went Liquid Vision approximately a year age and got a tattoo of some dog tags with my sons name on them. it was not the owner joe who did this tattoo. this guy did not do a very good job at all. i was very disappointed. that being said, i decided to have some more work done. so I'd heard that the owner, joe did great work. and being christian, i thought i would give joe a chance because i thought he to WAS a christian man by all the "i love jesus" and other signs relating to that matter. so i went in, told him exactly what i wanted and ask for a estimate for the work. there was no confusion as to what needed to be done! he gives me an estimate of $200 to $250 and i agreed and left stating i needed to save a little extra cash and ask how long the estimate would last. his response was as he was handing me his card with the estimate on it, saying " as long as you bring the card back we're good." well, today i go back to see if I could get the work done. after going there at ten because the internet site says that's the time they open. the door says they open at noon. well i go kill time till noon. no one even shows up till noon to unlock the doors, more or less be ready for business at noon! so i go in, guess what? i had to wait for joe another 30 minutes. everything is telling me to leave at this point. the girl was stuffing her face with some trail mix and trying to talk at the same time. there was another fellow there that didn't even acknowledge me and this obscene music was blasting! should have left then, but nooo! i forged on. joe shows up, another five minutes i wait. he finally shouts something over the counter to the couch i was sitting on and could not be seen because of a divider between us. instead of coming over to me face to face like a good business owner would. so i start telling him of the conversation we had pry to this visit. immediately he has this dumbfounded look on his face. and he starts back peddling. I explained exactly what i had said the first visit. nope! pretty much told me i was a liar! even after i produced the card he had given me earlier. starts saying he wouldn't have done that because they charge $90 an hour. and that tattoo would take atleast 5 to 6 hours. and again I already knew this because we discussed it in the prior meeting. so all in all he refused to honor his word which leads me back to the christian thing. ( not very christian like calling a man a liar and not honoring his word.) so I turned to walk out and had his card in my hand and thought, I don't need this anymore and turned and put it on the nasty counter and said " I guess I don't need this anymore since you're not going to honor your word " turned mumble a few things under my breath to let him know i was not happy. i immediately went out and wrote with a white marker on a liquid vision sticker i had been sporting for about a year, liquid vision "sucks". when the marker starts to fade, I'll scrape the sticker off! if this review doesn't keep you away, i guess you're just as big a fool as i was! lol! i plan on posting a link from my facebook page to this yelp review, so many more people can see this review, so they can be warned. funny thing is, i read all the reviews which just about all are bad, and still went in. duh! lesson learned! read more
