This place is top notch for me. Whatever liquor/beer you can think of is all here. I have made plenty of visits here where I would spend hours just browsing the different selections that they have here. Also the fact that having such a wide selection has given me options to try new drinks I would've never tried otherwise. If you have a taste for fine liquor to cheap liquor whatever it may be you will find it here and will love the endless selections. I just hope my liver can hang with my taste for liquor lol. read more

This is the only place we buy alcohol, it's literally a warehouse of every beer/liquor/wine you can imagine. Plus they have crazy deals every day. $20 bottles of wine on sale for $6, $30 handles on sale for $15. Plus you get this like frequent flyer type card called a Belly card and every 5 visits you get a free bottle of wine or every like 10 or 15 visits you get a bottle of vodka. Hi, I have been going to this store every couple of months since it opened a few years back and never had a problem. The selection is good and the prices aren't bad either. However, I drove the 6 miles on Dec 14th to make a purchase of some Limoncello for Christmas gifts. The shelf listed the price on sale for $19.99 with a regular price of $24.99. When i arrived home I looked the receipt over to learn they charged me regular price. Thus taking me for an additional $11 including tax. So I immediately called the store to inquire on the price and the woman told me it was on sale for $19.99. When I told her I was just in there and was charged regular price, she said to come in with the receipt and they would issue me a refund for the difference. No apology, but okay - fair enough. Last week I ran across the receipt again and figured I should go in and get my $11 back just on principal and see how they handle the situation. So, I'm forwarded to "the manager" Tom with an unpurchased bottle of Limoncello and what a impolite jerk! He tells me to go follow him to the next register but with me in tow, proceeds to walk down the isle to nearly the end of the store to check something where the liqueur is shelved. Then he tells the register attendant (who was very nice), to refund me my $5 plus tax using a specific approach and starts to walk away. I stopped him and said 'No, like I said, I purchased 2 bottles! So the refund would be double that". He closely examined my original receipt and instructed his colleague to double it and again started to walk away only to be stopped by a procedural question from his colleague. I then made a comment along the lines of "Perhaps you can give me this bottle and we will call it even based on the inconvenience that has caused me. Without skipping a beat, Tom replied "Give him his refund!" and walked away. Wow! No apology or anything. All I can say is, beware of the prices they are charging you at the checkout. You may be paying more than you bargained for. Binny's will be the store I make my next purchase from. Tom, you need to find a different place to work. Somewhere you don't have to deal with customers. I'd hate to know how he treats him employees. read more

In the business world you can't please everyone. This liquor store goes beyond customer satisfaction, not to mention huge variety of beer, liquor, cognac, vodka, etc. Online customer service has helped me gain some amazing bourbon's that where in my wishlist, and can't get anywhere else. Blade & bow, Orphan barrel, whistle pig. Keglivich peach, and melon ... JC cognac was a discontinued item; well guess what... they had it. YES I had times where UPS broke my packages couple times, but this store did the impossible to get me replacements. Indeed I have ordered bottles that were out of stock and discontinued, but their staff always called with good reccommdations, to similar items I wanted. Very happy with my collectables. Will definitely order again and again read more

Six weeks ago I placed an order for a case of wine with Liquor Barn. The wine was not cheap, about $500.00 for the case and was for my 28th anniversary. A confirmation email was received. When a month passed and no wine had arrived I emailed and then called the company. They no answers for me and said they would get back to to me. Four days later, after my anniversary had passed, I finally heard from them. I was told there was a problem with availability of two of the wines and there was nothing they could do. I politely voiced my dissatisfaction and asked for some kind of apology, reciprocation or discount on the remainder of the order. Three days later I received an email. What do you think it said. We are so sorry for our mistake on this special occasion order, we would like to pay the shipping of your case of wine and will throw in a special bottle for your troubles. Went there looking for a Japanese whisky that was recently discontinued. Didn't see it on the shelf where it normally is so I asked the guy behind the desk. He said they didn't have any and asked if I was interested in something else. I said no and as I'm about to walk out the door he says he actually does have it but would only sell me one bottle. So he gets it for me and turns out they jacked the price from the normal $80 up to $115. I bought it anyway but doubt I'll go back due to the dishonest, crappy attitude. read more

Terrible customer service, AVOID at all costs. This place is awful. You order and they confirm, weeks go by with no delivery. They send out a "shipped" notification, nothing is delivered. You have to chase them down. Trying to save a few bucks is not worth the aggravation. Their customer service line was of no help either. read more

Great selection and normally great service. However today I stopped in at the Wheeling location for a couple last minute purchases and met what has to be your rudest employee... Tom. I was walking down an isle an isle as Tom came walking backwards towards me along with another employee. Since Tom couldn't see me and the other employee clearly had no intentions of yielding any room in the aisle I turned my basket and placed it in front of me to make myself narrow and moved to as far to one side as possible. Tom then turns around and gives me a rather harsh shove to the side by striking me with his elbow. Then as I wait in line to check out Tom comes over and opens the second register and instead of assisting me being next in line he tells me the next cashier is finishing up and proceeds to help the person behind me. Then I politely ask him for his name and he simply ignores me. I understand it's Christmas and all but being rude to what was a regular customer probably wont encourage me to shop there next time. read more

I am a huge fan of this store. I have been a binnys gal since I was of legal drinking age. I have recently moved just 2 minutes away from the liquor barn and have spent quite a bit of time up and down their aisles this summer (last summer I was preggo no drinky drinky for me). The first time I walked in I was immediately greeted and asked if they could help me find something, in a genuine way, not like "hey were just talking to you to make sure you are of age" type of conversation. I actually did have something specific in mind, I asked about a wine I had tried in Disneyworld that I thought was in a blue bottle called ice wine. Imagine my joy when after asking this at 10 liquor stores and being stared at like I had two heads to not only have someone know exactly what I was talking about, take me right to it, AND tell me all about it (apparently its made after a frost and its not a very common wine) This store had multiple options and even a bottle on sale! I will say when I walked in right away I was excited this place was literally full of sky high shelves full of everything you could ever imagine, their selection was ginormous! I also was a fan of how well everything is categorized making it oh so simple to find what you were looking for. Categorized by country even! The staff is great extremely friendly and knowledgable and the prices were fair. There was even a cigar section for those who love a good stogie and alot of interesting shaped bottles perfect for a gift. Not to mention a larger than normal selection of "nips" and small bottles up at the front. This place makes binnys look like the corner crappy liquor store that never has what you want and charges an arm and a leg because they stay open late. I ordered two bottles of liquor on their web site as a Christmas gift for my clients. 2 weeks later nothing was delivered. When I called to inquire, they hadn't placed the order because they were out of stock. Do you think they'd have let me know about this??... not! No email response, no calls, no messages, and their web site still shows it available. 'Liquor Barn' has put me in a very awkward position. What a bunch of jerks!! read more

I have been going here since they opened. Usually, whenever someone asks me if they can help me, I say "thanks, I'm good"...and my most recent trip, Tom, the store manager asked and again, I initially said "no thank you, we're good"...BUT I really did want help and he jumped right in with some recommendations that were spot on. The guy is a gem. All the employyes are helpful, but he really is great...asks the right questions and makes reco's that are perfect. I trust his advice, suggestions and knowledge and will continue to recommend Liquor Barn & Tom as THE go-to wine/beer/liquor spot!! Thanks Tom!!! read more

This place is awesome. I was in several weeks ago. They had some guy there sampling a local liqueur made from lemons called CelloVia. I bought some, it was awesome. Served it for Super Bowl . I made martinis. It's sweet, but the vodka really mellowed it out. Never would have tried the stuff if the Manager Marcel wasn't there. I love this store. Decent prices great selection. read more
