I've stopped in this store several times over the years and the worker here is always super friendly and accommodating. Never rushes you and always willing to be helpful. This liquor store isn't too far from my everyday travels so we stop in here from time to time to grab a drink for an event or occasion. The bourbon collection here is solid and they don't jack up secondary prices too much if at all. They will also get some solid store picks in from time to tome. Being a busy Friday night I felt my request was delaying other customers so I was leaving thanking him for his diligent search. He suggested I stop by the next day and he would keep looking for the other "letters". As I was leaving the next day, he assured me that he could also make some calls for me and to just stop by on my way out. Sure enough by 11:00am on Saturday he had located the other bottles and I left Louisville very happy and looking forward to my return visit! I have had to walk away from his unwarranted attacks numerous times and would never advise anyone to ever go there in the off chance you would encounter this person. He habitually seeks to harm and intimidate those who he perceives to be vulnerable by insulting their appearance and other Sophmoric and tasteless banter. When he is trying to pick a fight with you, he gets within 2 inches of your face and all one can digest is an extremely repugnant breath of intoxication, cigarette smoke, and pungent body odor. On 3/7/2020, "Keith" threatened with my life in the store and outside when leaving and I was forced to call 911 for fear of my safety. I have an 11 year old daughter named Ella and an 8 year old named Max and my life with them flashed before my eyes. I have no ax to grind, the employees are great the prices are great and location is fantastic. Had to post just to let the Highlands community of the risk. I'm not trying to be a hero. I have connected with the Fifth Division of the Metro Police and they have committed to closely monitoring the area and hopefully this isn't a problem going forward. If you are harassed, please call the local police. You are not a victim.

Excellent place! I was excited to find their wine that I use in punch was available at this location. Some dude and his family run this place and I've only ever seen the family running it (it is right by my gym) so previous problems that people have had with employees have cleared up because now it is straight up mom and pop. I can get behind a mom and pop all day and the part of the night I'm not sprawled on Karen's basement floor wondering why Anderson Cooper doesn't call me back. Why does this place get four stars instead of three? They had a huge selection (compared to the size of the store) of local wines and beer. I think that's wonderful. I haven't fallen in love with any of the local beers or near local beers BUT I know my friends have and now I know where to get some before going to their homes. Not only do…read morethey have a huge selection of wine, beer and spirits, but they also have a little bar with draft beer. There are about 8 craft beers on draft and sold by the pint. You can get a beer and sip it while you shop. There are even some shopping carts with a holder for your glass. My only complaint is that sometimes the prices are not the best. When they have a sale, however, the prices are awesome. A few times a year they have a huge wine sale and I happened to catch one last week. I purchased a couple of nice bottles of red wine that would normally be $40-50 for less than $20 each.
