Decided to try this restaurant for the first time and won't order from there again. When the order arrived we were quite impressed by the huge chicken balls, but even though they had a big piece of chicken inside you had to get through a tough and hard crust! The General Tsao's chicken made us select between mild, spicy and very spicy....so being our first order from them we picked spicy. If that was spicy I never want to test their mild selection. Even the General Tsao himself would have been disappointed! Big disappointment! Although the crust on the egg rolls was crusty and dry the inside was delicious! The mixed vegetable dish was also very good. The large amount of chicken fried rice was also tasty! Li's Fusion just opened in the new strip mall on Vanguard Dr (same strip mall as Chocolats Favoris). My family and I ordered takeout from here tonight and overall, it was good, but a bit overpriced. We got a Dinner for 6 ($85.95). This included 6 egg rolls, General Tao's Chicken, Cantonese Chow Mein, Garlic Spare Ribs, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, Beef and Broccoli, Chicken Chow Mein, 2 Chicken Fried Rice, 6 Almond Cookies and 6 Fortune Cookies. Since we were picking it up and ordered over $37 we got a free Chicken Fried Rice, so we got 3 Chicken Fried Rice in total. We also got a random small order of white rice for free. Woo hoo. The egg rolls were good. They were crunchy and contained a lot of pork. The General Tao's Chicken was really sweet and not all that spicy. It also had a lot of vegetables in it: bell peppers, baby corn, water chestnuts, carrots and onions. I've had better. The Cantonese Chow Mein was really good. The noodles were soft (not crispy), but full of flavour. It also had lots of chicken, BBQ pork and shrimp, as well as cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, celery, and onions. It was the best dish of the lot. The Garlic Spare Ribs were meaty and not fatty. They weren't swimming in fat and liquid like at most places. They were sweet and sticky but not all that garlicky. I usually don't like this dish, but I liked it here. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were ok. They did use white meat and breading was not excessive. The Beef and Broccoli was unremarkable. The beef was tender and not chewy or sinewy. I don't like bean sprouts, so I did not have any Chicken Chow Mein, but others said it was surprisingly good for a dish that is usually just a cheap filler. The Chicken Fried Rice was weird. The grains of rice were all broken and it looked like it would be mushy and too salty since it was so dark, but it wasn't. The taste was ok, not too much chicken through. It just didn't look appetizing. Overall, everything was flavourful, not too salty and not bland. Service was nice and polite. If you like them on Facebook, you get a 10% discount. The parking lot for the strip mall on Vanguard is small for the number of businesses there and the spots are snug. Parking is a bit of a nightmare. Overall, a nice addition to the Orleans restaurant scene. read more

My husband and I love dim sum and we're happy to be able to get dim sum in Orleans and not have to go to Chinatown. The food is good for Orleans. Obviously dim sum in Montreal or Toronto is better. It's a bit expensive too. Most dim sum are $4.55. I didn't like the tripe because it was chewy and had a smell, but everything else was good. I liked the shrimp and coriander dumplings. They have water chestnuts in them too so were a little crunchy inside. The shrimp dumplings were better than the Chiu Chow dumplings, and you get 4 instead of 3 so a better deal. If I'm craving dim sum and don't want to leave Orleans this is where I go. read more

We stopped in because I was craving Chinese food. We weren't disappointed. The spring rolls are 10/10 delicious. The general Tso chicken 10/10. The dumplings in a spicy sweet peanut are about a 7/10 but only because the meat is a little finer grind than I like. The Moo See pork is a 10/10 I would eat this for breakfast, and I might just do that. The portions are very generous so bring your appetite. It's a good thing they have to go boxes. read more

I've gotten takeout here a number of times and likely will again. Good portion sizes and nice flavours. The sticky rice in lotus leaves is a favourite, and the dim sum dumplings are large and tasty. A decent variety of dishes to choose from, too, beyond the commonly-seen 'chicken balls and egg rolls' type of menu items. read more

Dim Sum items are always fresh and possibly a little bigger than downtown. Service is always friendly and you are often served or visited by the Owner/Chief. Dim Sum menu is available in photo format. Excellent spot to try dim sum for the first time. Saw 3 people (retired? My age?) Order 3 different lunch specials which they place in the middle of the table and helped themselves. A very economical meal for 3! Good hot and sour soup with plenty of vegetables although I could use a bit more "sour". It is difficult to get the right balance for everyone. read more

Despite making reservations, it took them 20 minutes after we arrived to seat us. We ordered a dish (duck) ahead of time and it was an hour and 30 minutes after being seated that we received everything. By then, our first dishes were cold. They also got our first dish wrong. Stay away....Stale food, chewy/rubbery chicken balls, dry fried rice and the chicken tao was stale and tasted plum sauce. The food appeared and tasted like it was reheated many times from two nights prior.. I was advised by the server that their food was outstanding..Well, they robbed me without a gun of 34$ but thats nothing compared of them closing their business in less than 6 months if they keep feedigng crap to customers. We'll go back to well establised chinese takeout locations from now on. The only reason I went there its because they were recruiting clients in the parking lot in their cars. We had lunch here on New Year's Day and couldn't have been happier with our experience. They have a very large menu and offer a lot of vegetarian options. The portions were quite large, which made it perfect for sharing between two people. The services was efficient and friendly. I highly recommend checking Li's Fusion out. read more

Great authentic and Canadian Chinese food, dim sum and other Asian classics. Price is very reasonable and food quality consistently high. My parents are from Hong Kong and very particular about their Chinese food and absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Haven't tried the sushi yet but looking forward to trying it. Please avoid this restaurant, they serve shark fin soup. We walked in and when I saw it on the menu we walked straight out. Until they take shark fin soup off the menu I will never eat there and will actively encourage others to avoid it. The harvesting of shark fins is a cruel and barbaric practice. If the whole shark was used, that would be a different story but they cut the fin off amd leave the rest of the shark to bleed out and die. read more

Food was fairly good. My only complaint is that they use melamine plastic cups for tea. Melamine chemical is know breakdown when exposed to heat and it can cause kidney stones, kidney failure or death. read more

Order take out, General Tao Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein in combo plates with Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Balls. The restaurant look nice at first, but I found painter tapes all over the celling. It sounded like mayhem in the kitchen. Portion was not bad for the price. The General Tao Chicken was so over cooked that is was like chewing hockey pucks, sauce had no flavor and was NOT spicy what so ever. The Chicken Chow Mein had no taste as well. The chicken ball taste like they were frozen food from a grocery store. The egg rolls tasted like fish and were so so greasy it was not edible. I visited the restaurant with my bf on June 19 and it was one of the worst experience and Chinese food we'd ever had. We always like to try every new Chinese restaurant that we hear about in Ottawa as we find it really hard to find good authentic Chinese food. The portion sizes from the set menu for two were extremely small, was not enough food for two. The soup was just msg mixed with water, the veggies weren't seasoned, the treasure tofu pot was bland and we received a whole five tiny pieces. We also order chicken it was tasteless and dry. The service we received was horrible. They pretty much ignored us and was beyond rude to us when they did acknowledge us. They literally just dropped our food on the table. There're were two other tables that were not Chinese dinners they were treated really well, they were checked on by the servers every few minutes while we couldn't even get our water refilled. It was obvious to us that they didn't care for their Chinese customers. We would never go back there even if they were the last Chinese restaurant in Ottawa. If I could give them 0 star I would. read more
