I came into the Water Tower Mall location on Michigan Ave. and Michelle was the nurse that injected me. Michelle was extremely personable and knowledgeable. As someone that has been getting Botox for 10+ years and worked at a MediSpa for 5 years, I would like to think of myself as a self-proclaimed expert on the matter. Right away, Michelle asked exactly what area I wanted to treat and gave me her ideas. The injections were very quick and painless. Afterward, she reminded me of the care instructions (no exercise, raise your brows a ton, stay upward, you know the drill!) I felt so comfortable and will certainly be back to see her. Oh, and I had a Groupon for a STEAL. If you are contemplating Botox, look up Chicago Institute of Plastic Surgery and I promise it'll be worth your while, especially if you're on the fence about the procedure.

Attempts to call the office were not answered - the only response was through text, when they felt like responding. I would have left, normally. But since payment was given upfront... There's obviously no waiting or patient lobby. we drove 45 minutes to wait outside for 40 minutes. Unacceptable.

I'm not someone who is often impressed, but these women are truly exceptional! Dawn is a wonderful injector. A+. She's so knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and has a lovely bedside manner. She's offered wonderful advice and treatment due to my Botox/Tox A resistance. Michele is an outstanding. She manages patient care, assists in procedures, and billing-all effortlessly. Michelle is a ray of sunshine. I was treated by Jen yesterday for laser, and also can't say enough good things. It was the best laser treatment I've had. I was thrilled with all the education, information and guidance she provided. Worth every penny! I'm so glad my friend referred me to RL. I'm only disappointed I didn't switch practices sooner.

I've been seeing Dr. Morno for a year or so, for Botox and filler. She is amazing! I've never been so happy with my results, she is humorous, very smart and kind. Listens to my likes/dislikes. Such an artist! She has amazing credentials as an Allergan trainer and experience as an ocular surgeon. I would not go to anyone else for injections moving forward. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. These treatments are not the most fun and someone is there every time holding your hand. Everyone I have met has been patient, kind, communicative and so well educated on procedures/processes/outcomes. Shoutout to Alicia, Alexa and the awesome assistant who worked with me during Dr. Bahkos procedure. Highly recommend for the best service and results every time. Do not hesitant to visit RL.

Then she told me that consultations were done via zoom which I had no problem with. But she told me she was not sure how to set up the virtual consultation. I couldn't understand how they could offer virtual consultations if they didn't know how to set them up? Then she kept telling me that there was a "girl" who sets them up. Clearly there were language barriers. I was emailed from an undetermined email a number of days later, with no heading from the email, no practice insignia, address and not even the person who emailed me signed. She asked me if I was still interested in the consultation and said yes. I was told I would be sent a zoom link the DAY of my appointment in the afternoon. I was also told that even though the appt is made at 5:30pm the doctor may not show up a tithe time and he might be late. The day of my appointment I received a TEXT with another person's name confirming the appointment. I texted them back letting them know it was the wrong person. The person who texted apologized, misspelled my name, and had spelling mistakes in the text. She then told me I would receive a zoom link later on. This is starting to sound like a horror story. Then I get texted saying that the doctor wants ME to email HIM with a zoom link. What kind of practice/doctor would ask a patient to email them a zoom link for a virtual consultation? This is of course contradictory to what I was told would be done. What a complete joke. I cancelled my appointment as if they can't even get a simple consultation right, who knows what kind of results can be obtained from a surgical procedure. No thanks. The woman who texted me told me how they were "too busy" to set up virtual consultations. What a joke. Clearly not up to medical and adequate surgical standards in my opinion. As a physician myself, your staff can make or break you. While I have never met the physician himself nor do I know what his abilities are, his staff is clearly an atrocity. Rude, inept, unprofessional. No thanks. I guess you get what you pay for. Found the deal on Groupon. Things now make sense.

At our initial consultation on June 12, he was polite but seemed rushed and didn't spend much time discussing details. Still, he offered to perform the procedure at a reasonable price, so I decided to move forward. The surgery itself went smoothly, but recovery was incredibly painful. I couldn't stand upright for weeks. By January, I noticed swelling in my upper abdomen, which I initially assumed was just part of the healing process. Unfortunately, the bulge continued to grow rapidly, and I knew something wasn't right. I called Dr. Madry's office and was told he was leaving the country and wouldn't be available for another two weeks. At that point, the swelling was about the size of a lemon and getting bigger every day. When I expressed my concern, I was shocked by how I was treated. The office staff was dismissive, defensive, and even blamed me for not coming in sooner. Dr. Madry later called me from overseas and also made me feel shamed and at fault. They referred me to another surgeon at Good Shepherd who was covering for him, but I was told he wouldn't be able to see me for another week. Meanwhile, the bulge had grown to the size of a grapefruit. After some research, I realized I was likely dealing with a seroma--a fluid-filled pocket left behind after surgery. As a professional photographer, this growing mass made it extremely difficult to work. In desperation, I contacted my previous surgeon in Chicago, Dr. Michael Lee, who drained a significant amount of fluid from the area. I continued to see him for repeat aspirations--about ten times--until it became clear that this was not sustainable financially or logistically. Emotionally drained and hesitant to return to Dr. Madry after my experience, I resorted to draining it myself every few days. It's a painful and risky process, involving sterilizing the area and inserting a four-inch needle into my abdomen. Dr. Lee has now advised that I'll need another surgery to permanently resolve the seroma. It will cost $5,000 and require two weeks off work. I've had over ten surgeries in my life and never had any issues--until now. This has been my worst medical experience. Not only is the seroma still present, but the incision from the tummy tuck is large and poorly done. I also continue to have significant swelling that gives the appearance of a pot belly--on top of the seroma in my upper abdomen. Looking back, I deeply regret not investing in a more experienced and compassionate surgeon. I wish I had paid more for someone who would've treated me with care and delivered better results. This has been emotionally, physically, and financially devastating.
