I've taken many online courses but Lisa OM Academy's has been the best one! I took Microblading and Lip Blush online courses with them and both required work to be submitted which really helped me as Lisa provides feedback on my work and helped me through the course. The feedback from Lisa and life time access to the student portal is a great bonus!! Most courses just have information and videos and not able to ask the instructor anything which made it hard for me with other online courses. I was nervous since I was taking two courses at once but the course was very informative and Lisa has been there every step of the way and I'm so happy I completed both and still have access to the portal!m just in case I need any help from Lisa. Lisa did a phenomenal job on my brows. Though I was excited, I initially felt apprehensive about the pain level and how I would actually look with PMU eyebrows. Lisa made feel comfortable and immediately reassured me that the pain would be minimal after the application of some numbing cream to the brows. I will say the most comforting aspect of the entire experience was that Lisa took her time measuring my facial features, drawing in my eyebrows until we were both very satisfied with the template, and choosing the best pigment color before even starting the process. She suggested that I get Powder as it both suited what I was trying to attain (to not have to fill in my extremely sparse brows every single day) and to achieve the best results for my skin type. Finally, it was time for the procedure. Lisa was careful to perfect every aspect of my new brows, checking multiple times for any areas that she may have missed. Finally, she was thorough with aftercare instructions and emailed the instructions afterward. I highly recommend Lisa if you are ever considering Permanent Make Up. Lisa is a very professional and skilled artist. I came in to correct my eyeliner tattoo. It has been over 10 years since my tattoo and she was able to correct the discoloration. She walked me through what the procedure with entail and how many passes she will have to take to cover the blue ink. It was very educational of understanding how the ink needs to penetrate certain layers of my epidermis. The aftercare information was very helpful. I am looking forward to future services. read more

I had a horrible experience here. She told me that my lower eyeliner would not show. So I wondered why she would advertise a product that does not work. And just as she predicted you are unable to view eyeliner on the bottom lid. The problem with this statement is the fact that I have had the procedure done previously without problems. It was so painful that I was almost in tears by the time I left. It looks like a big blob on my eye instead of the smokey eyeliner that I paid for. I am unsure how she is able to stay in business. She charged me a lot of money 1000 + for a procedure that looks absolutely horrendous. In order for me to take the time and write and post a review you have to do either of two things. Either you have an extremely exceptional service or product or you have or performed a horrible service. read more

I really, really appreciate the experience here! I came to the studio for permanent eyeliner (winged). The place is super clean(like a clinic!), the seat is comfortable, Lisa is very meticulous with the prep work, and it didn't hurt at all during the tattooing ! Throughout the process, she made sure my eyes are comfortable, the numbing cream working great, and she's very careful, precise and fast. She also did refinement so thoroughly, I can tell she cares a lot about her work. I think all the equipments and materials used are maintained very well too, so I feel very safe and at ease. Even though it's my first time here and we were all wearing masks, I really trust Lisa's work! And most importantly, I'm very very happy with my new winged eyeliners! I'm a mother of a toddler and it's not easy to get ready but this made my life so much easier. I took the Microblading course & also the Ombré/Powder course. Both were great & so is Lisa. She is very patient and is willing to go the extra mile to help you anytime you need it. What I like most about her training programs are the apprenticeship part of her programs that she provides. I think this is what makes her academy so special and what sets her apart from other schools. Many other schools and trainers do not give that opportunity to come back and practice on models as often as you want. I became certified in June and everytime I have reached out to ask her for apprenticeship she has been more than happy to find me models to practice more on and schedule me! In a field like permanent makeup it is so crucial to be able to practice on as many models as you can until you feel comfortable to open up your own studio. The fact that she takes a day out of her week to make apprenticeship available for past students is amazing and I'm very grateful I trained with her. She is a very hands on type of instructor and treats her students like they are important! Her encouragement is just what I need to help me jump start my new career.
