Legally, she could have said, "tough, you're out at the end of this month!" But she immediately responded, said "no prob", and extended our lease another month. The owner is very rude and dishonest. She violated "abuse of access" tenant law by showing up without proper notice of entry. She yelled at me as I was moving out and followed me around, which made me feel so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, she tends to be a bully and uses her position to gain profit off of the tenants. I would not recommend renting from this company, even if you love the house. It is not worth it, and you will never see your deposit again.
