An Unforgettable Wedding Experience at Mill Top Convention Center!…read more Seriously too good to be true! From the moment we arrived at the Mill Top Convention Center, we knew we this is going to be thee coolest! This venue far exceeded all our expectations and made our wedding day nothing short of mind blowing (my cousins even said so)! We were everywhere! The space was immaculate, with perfect decor that we selected and their own. We had a massive group and a layout perfectly accommodated our guests. Every corner of the venue was designed for photos, so the reception felt both elegant and comfortable. We met a lot of the staff personally! Way to go Toni and Hilary, and Rocky All staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, I'm embarrassed that I don't remember all the names. They went above and beyond, especially when we requested a live stream of our ceremony for guests who couldn't attend in person. Their professionalism and willingness to cater to our specific requests really made us feel like VIP. But lemme tell you about this!!! One of the highlights of our experience was the Bridal Suite and Man Cave, which are unmatched in style and amenities. The spaces were stylish and provided a perfect hideaway for us and our wedding party to relax and prepare for the big day. We even enjoyed watching the Colts game on a theater screen, adding a fun twist to our preparations! I'm still not finished.... We had a fantastic lineup of entertainment! The live piano player when our guest arrived, while the saxophone player added a nice touch to our cocktail hour. As the night progressed, the DJ kept the energy pumping during our casino-style reception!! The full bar service was exceptional, offering a couple of bride and groom drinks that they helped us create. To top it off, the venue accommodated a special request for a spirit (and it ain't easy to find either if you know me) we wanted, we literally had everything we wished for. Sooooooo... If you're looking for a spot that brings elegance, service, and an experience to remember, Get to the Mill Top Convention Center. Our wedding day was perfect! Thank you,Thank you Thank you!

Not only were the facilities wonderful…read more(bridal suites and man caves for pre- wedding preparations) but we were blown away with the quality of the food. I travel a lot and have eaten a lot of buffets ( so much so I hate them) but the food here was excellent! Fresh, well prepared, and I heard so many compliments about how good the food was. The planning assistance was spot on and the service during the event was excellent. Only complaint was the lines at the bar. Needed more bartenders and maybe do a premix of the signature cocktails to speed things up for the first few rounds so people don't have to wait. Since it is a historic building, the main room has some obstacles that prevent good viewing from all of the seats, but it is compensated by a really cool building and atmosphere.

It's probably not surprising that Coxhall Mansion is within the Coxhall Gardens location in Carmel…read more Both are event venues exclusive to Ritz Charles, though they fall under the Hamilton County Parks leadership. I stumbled across it today while out driving around and waiting for an event I was attending. The mansion is a historic mansion that was inspired by the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg, VA. It has multiple options for several events and has been updated by Hamilton County Parks. From the looks of things, those updates continue to be implemented. As a historic mansion, accessibility isn't perfect. Things have been made as accessible as possible - Hamilton County, in general, tries to do that. Event space on the main floor has space for 80 people for a sit-down event. If the patio is included, you could have 100 sit-down or 120 standing. There's also a third-floor music room that has space for 40 sit-down. If you need a larger space, Coxhall Gardens has several other options including an amphitheatre. It's super weird to think that this was a home. The land started with the John Williams family (No, not the Star Wars composer). They were early Hamilton County settlers and moved here in 1855. 10 years later, they built the Victorian home that still stands. Bricks were even made on-site. In 1958, a 40-year-old Jesse Cox and his wife would make a bid on the property - it was initially denied, however, a year later the property was still for sale. Finally, they were able to acquire it. In 1999, they donated it to Hamilton County Parks. Due to its historic nature, the mansion is often viewed separately from the rest of the gardens. This entire complex is pretty mesmerizing, however, Carmel has a long history of weaving together luxury, history, and practicality and this mansion is a great example.
