    The best Whiskey Sour!
    Katherine A.

On our first visit to West Fork Whiskey, we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in for lunch. The receptionist welcomed us and described the center. The center includes a brewery, cocktail lounge, restaurant, event center and tasting bar with gift area. The locally-owned distillery has an upscale industrial vibe. We started at the tasting bar.....duh! The bartender described the three whiskeys that we tasted. Each was delicious. I felt like I was on a great vacation. Then we headed to the restaurant for lunch. We sat at the bar, of course. Allison, the bartender and our server, did an outstanding job. She was friendly, attentive, made suggestions and prepared a fabulous Whiskey Sour. My drink was made either Luxardo cherries. This as the best Whiskey Sour that I've ever had. The lunch menu is slightly different than the dinner menu. I would describe the menu as very upscale bar food. There is a drink menu that was featuring daily specials for the holidays. My husband had their hand breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin was double stacked with perfectly breaded and seasoned tenderloin. He said it the best tenderloin he has had in Hamilton County and among the best in the state. The fries were crispy and good. I had the in-house prepared Broccoli Cheddar soup. There was no doubt that the soup was fresh made. The soup was creamy with gooey cheese. The broccoli was sour fresh. The bowl was huge. I also ordered a small wedge salad, which turned out to be huge. The salad was covered generously with bacon, blue cheese and grape tomatoes. We explored the event center, which was spacious. The outdoor patio was inviting, even on a freezing day. There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot. Accessible spaces are available near the entrance. West Fork puts Westfield on the map. It's the perfect venue to bring family or friends for a special meal and experience. I highly recommend.

It was a beautiful day and I had the day off from work, so while out and about running errands, I decided to stop by West Fork Whiskey Westfield to check it out and do a whiskey tasting. I knew the venue was going to change under new management very soon and have a different concept, so I wanted to check it out before it went under new changes. The first impression when I walked into the venue was absolutely beautiful ambiance. The restaurant/bar area was very nice with a beautiful outdoor patio. The event space was decent as well. The distillery had plenty of eye catching moments with the signage and the barrels of whiskey shown in the lobby area of the venue. The whiskey tasting room was very nice and the woman behind the counter was very professional and did a wonderful job explaining the different whiskeys to me. The whiskey tasting was fantastic. All of the whiskeys were very good, especially the 10 year Old Hamer whiskey and the single barrel Old Hamer whiskey. I ended up getting a few bottles of whiskey to take home and enjoy at my leisure because it was that good and they had a Farewell Sale taking place due to the changeover to new management. I'm sorry to see the West Fork Whiskey Westfield concept go because it looked like it was very successful and worthwhile, but I'm glad I was able to pay a visit when I did and taste some whiskey. Good luck to the new concept and management, but it will have some big shoes to fill.

Fantastic distillery located in Indiana. A friend told us about this place and we did the $25 tour. Do it! Amazing history of the business and you can get to taste all the Whiskey! Definitely order an old fashion and some food afterwards. Try the cheese curds and the chicken wings. Lots of parking available. They have a lot of rooms for big parties here. Service was friendly and very knowledgeable.

West Fork Whiskey never disappoints! Their honey limited edition was exquisite. I have never had a bad pour from them. It takes quality alcohol and a mature palate to come up with so many different flavor combinations that please the masses. I would highly recommend doing a flight of all they have to offer.

West Fork Whiskey event center space is enormous with a private bar! I enjoyed how open the room was as it hosted the event beautifully! The decor of the business walking in is stellar with statements of whiskey. It was my first visit to enjoy for a private party. This massive distillery has so much space for the onsite restaurant, speak easy cocktail lounge with tasting bar was impressive! I look forward to meeting up with friends and clients at this special space! The service was phenomenal I really enjoyed speaking to Avery she's a delight and has worked her for an over a year and her energy talking about the business was so professional and enthusiastic!!

Ok...not bad but not spectacular. If you are going for an event or party, yes this place is amazing. It's quite large honestly so you have to go searching. The tour was underwhelming and I wish I received more info. The staff were warm and very accommodating. Food was delicious

A variety of food options to satisfy the whole family. Outside and inside seating options. We had 6 in our group and we got a table quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Happy hour on Sunday starting at 2 so all drinks were half off which was nice. Lots of whiskey options and some beers but those are in cans, not draft. Plenty of parking and our server was great.

This is a distillery, restaurant located a couple of miles off RT 31. This is a very nice place with a Very nice menu and a nice selection of bourbon whisky and ryes. Service was great with Sam. We did two flights as Sam guided us through each pour. Check out their menu as they offer a very fine variety of foods. Parking on site.

We stopped by one weekend to try the Stave cocktail bar. Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the lounge. We tried a few different cocktails and all were good. We were the only ones in the lounge so of course service was excellent. Definitely need to come back again.

On a recent rainy Sunday we visited West Fork for the distillery tour, and it was so much fun! We learned a lot about the process, tasted quite a few varieties and even got to try "thieving" ourselves. After the tour we were invited to try any of the whiskies available - as a non-whisky drinker the Frenchy was the only one I would drink straight, but I definitely want to visit the cocktail bar next time and try a few of their innovative drinks. Overall, a wonderful way to spend a rainy day!

We came for the bourbon and chocolate pairing event in February. All were great! It just was a quick 15 minutes and I wish it had gone on a little longer or included another tasting/activity/etc. we always love a trip to West Fork, it's such a great atmosphere and food for families, dates, and they have a cocktail lounge for 21+ which is such a good hangout spot.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Westfield market held in the back of the building. Service was good. We sat at the bar because it was packed Ana no table was available. I had the truffle burger and fries. My friend had the tenderloin with fries. My burger was good which came w/pickles red onion truffle mayo tomato and cheese though I opted for no cheese. I love truffles so was excited to see that in the mayo on it but honestly didn't taste much of the truffle on my sandwich. The fries were ok. I had asked for crispy and honestly they weren't all that crispy but they were still good My friend really enjoyed her sandwich. We sat next to someone we know who got the cheese curds with 2 different sauces and he was kind w laugh to share so we could try them. The sauces were very tasty and the cheese curds looked fabulous. They use a fairly firm cheese so they aren't as gooey as I anticipated but they were still good. Nice and crispy outside. I tried a cocktail that was a bit of an odd combination pineapple lime honey mint cold brew. I didn't care for it and it had an unappealing look and color. Maybe someone else might love it? It's a fun place to visit and try their food. They have some unique offerings and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

We reserved a Bourbon Bungalow for a 2 hour experience. It was 10/10! The service was excellent and quick, the heaters made it cozy, and the games and blankets as options (although we didn't need them) were a nice touch. We ordered appetizers to share and they were delicious!

Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

The Whisk has been on our road trip list for awhile, and we finally went with some friends. Greencastle has never been high on my priority list of places to visit, but I'd heard rumors about "The Whisk" being a great place to visit for whisky lovers like myself. And the rumors were true! Walking up to The Whisk...well, that doesn't happen. You have to walk down some stairs that are nondescript, giving the entrance a very old fashioned speakeasy vibe. I immediately fell in love. It feels like a secret club that I'm a part of! The decor is big city speakeasy vibe and lets you know immediately that regardless of shoe you are, you're welcome at the Whisk (see some of the pictures of the decor). We went on a Friday because they have a dinner menu only on Fridays and it changes every week. Tosh and her husband, Joel, are the co-owners and curators of all the food and cocktails. Although there are always small plates on the menu, the full menu complete with dessert was exactly what we wanted. The presentation and flavors of the dinner and drinks felt like being in Chicago or New York, not Greencastle! It was a delightful anachronistic experience. The blackened catfish and The Ghost whisky cocktail were some of the best things I've ingested in a long time. I can't wait to go back!
