Why did Kenzie L use the same photo as the post from a year ago? I have taken my dog here for 3 years and never had a problem! We just moved to Chandler and I plan to continue to take my baby here.

Horrible service. Sent my dogs home BLEEDING and blamed it on him being difficult. If you can't cut nails, just refuse the service and tell your client you weren't able to cut the nails instead of injuring our dogs. When I called to ask about it, they kept going in circles and being rude. No apology was ever given either, for hurting my dog. Just told us to dip the paws in flour... Lisa was the one who picked up the call and the groomer for our dogs. This place should be shut down for animal cruelty.

Great staff, very friendly! I have an Australian Shepherd and just moved to the area. Hadn't had time to get him to the groomer for at least 6 months. Lisa's Doghouse did a great job. I have been bringing my pup here for about 6 months. I love the open setup for the dogs. Waffles is more relaxed when I pick him up from Lisa's than when I was using PetSmart. I know he is being well taken care of. He always smells so good and is trimmed so adorably. Thanks for the nice work!!

I was so nervous to take my 5 month old Miniature Schnauzer anywhere for her hair cut with the fear of it not being a good schnauzer cut/ her own fear of the trimmers. Lisa's Doghouse did an AMAZING job with her. She looks beautiful and seemed the least bit from stressed upon picking her up

My dog came home with a one inch gash along his neck. It was not readily noticeable for it was under his beard. My dog was very quiet when he returned from grooming. This was not his ordinary self after grooming. I would never take him back to that place again.

My dogs hate everything, from the car ride to walking in the door!! However once they are with one of the groomers they are okay. The staff makes them feel comfortable! Jeremy is the most combative, disrespectful and arrogant person I have ever come across in a work environment. He treated me and 2 other of my friends poorly. He screamed over the phone and hung up on me. He was short and rude. Belittling and insulting. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. He is most likely mistreating animals, too. I never leave reviews but I just had to. That guy is nasty and extremely unprofessional and plain out mean. read more

I was a long time customer of this salon for my terrier. We always get her shaved in the hot weather and they did a great job up until the last time. They shaved her female area and burned her very bad all over her lower belly and up to her tail area. We didn't go back and complain because she would have denied that she did it. She was burnt by the razor so bad that it is scarred and hair will not grow there now. Shame on them for hurting my dog and for not bringing it to our attention when it was done. No offering to provide medical attention. We had to use medical honey, aloe vera and many other skin healing ointments. My only regret is that I didnt go right away and show them. My dog will never be the same. read more

Horrible grooming and management service I have experienced in a long time if I would leave zero stars I would. I spent $70 to get my dog groomed and I have had to come home and fix his hair. If you truly love your pet don't bring them here! read more

I have the chihuahua from hell who I was only taking to the vet for nail trims but Lisa is better, she does a good job and is patient and skilled and able to get my baby girl little Orc Face's nails done quick and affordably. They make sure his eyes are clear of boogies and are careful brushing his sensitive teeth. I have used Lisa's Doghouse for about a year. Never been that happy with her but it was convenient. Last Friday I took my dog in and when I picked her up they said she was "stressed " and the corner of her eye was red. The next day both of her eyes were blood red!!! I took her to the vet and they basically said she was strangled around her neck and burst the blood vessels in her eyes!!! If you love your pet, don't use Lisa's Doghouse!! read more

This is my second time taking my pup to Lisa's Doghouse and I absolutely love the work she does and so does my dog! She is super nice and her place is so clean and spacious for the dogs to run around! I love the fact that the dogs do not get put into cages for hours (like some places I know) and they get to roam free. Will be coming here from now on! Definitely recommend Lisa's place! read more

This is our go to spot to take our pup for a great cut. Lisa and her staff are warm and inviting which makes for a wonderful atmosphere for the animals. I first started using Lisa a few years ago when I lived in Gilbert, as she is the owner of Alo's Doghouse as well. And I am so happy that she has opened this shop in Mesa because I just recently moved to mesa too! Lisa is such a great person and does an amazing job. She takes such great care of our dogs and it's hard to find someone who my dog can trust but my dog loves Lisa and the rest of the staff. I won't take my dogs anywhere else. We winter in Mesa so need a dog groomer. My wife did a lot of research and we found Lisa's and are very glad we did. We will get Daisy an appointment or two every year we are in the area. They only do a couple of dogs at a time. The dogs are not kenneled, it is clean quiet, and the staff are very nice & friendly. Daisy has very fine hair, which is difficult, but we are extremely pleased with the job. Highly recommend ! read more

We've taken one of our dogs to Lisa's for all of her haircuts. Her name is Curry and she always comes out looking beautiful. Our first dog is terribly afraid of the groomers and has really only gone to Petsmart. I have not taken him to the groomers in a very long time because of how scared he is. I've been learning how to groom, that way we can avoid taking him. However, within the last couple of weeks, his nails are needing some attention now. We're going to take him in as well since they have always done such a beautiful job with Curry. ALSO they don't put dogs in cages, which I think is much better on the dogs. The wash bays easily accommodate his size with room to spare, and their recent remodel made everything even better--more stations and great updates all around. One thing I really appreciate is that there's no extra charge for large dogs, which is "huge" for owners of giant breeds. And every time, the staff kindly offers an extra towel to help get him dried off--such a thoughtful touch! The team here is always friendly and helpful. They walked me through everything on my first visit and recommended products tailored to his skin and coat. We now use the de-shed conditioner and I can honestly say--I notice the difference at home... and so does my vacuum He always comes out looking and smelling great. Sometimes we even add a few spritzes of the doggie cologne when available--such a fun bonus! And of course, no visit is complete without him "convincing" me to grab one of their adorable gourmet dog treats at checkout. They're so cute and perfect for pictures or just spoiling your fur baby a little extra. For my budget-conscious friends--Tuesdays are half-off self-service washes (which is amazing!), just keep in mind it can get a bit busy, especially if it falls on a holiday. When animal control finally got him off the streets earlier this year, it was hard to tell that there was even a dog hidden inside all that fur! I can only imagine how stressful the initial necessary shelter grooming session must have been for my poor little guy! Knowing all this when I adopted him, I was very committed to finding him the very best groomer for his new life going forward. After reading all these great reviews I decided to give Sunny Days a try and I was quickly scheduled with Desiree. His first session was wonderful. Desiree was right on time as expected, communication was impeccable, charges were fair and very competitive, payment was easy afterward, Desiree is super sweet, and Kenny Wayne looked like the rockstar that he is!!! Afterward I quickly got him on her schedule for groom #2 which took place yesterday and it went even better which I honestly didn't think was possible. Desiree really cares about building trusting relationships with her fur clients and it shows! I'm so happy with her service that I'm now hoping to get on her coveted recurring yearly schedule. Needless to say at this point, I highly recommend Sunny Days Mobile Grooming!!! P.S. That mobile part is pretty freakin awesome too

I have been nervous to take our old boy, 12, who has back leg and hip issues in for an overdue bath and haircut. I knew it would be a long day for him and I get anxious taking him to big pet stores as he has to stand for long periods and it takes a long time for him to dry. My nerves were immediate at ease as soon as I was greeted and I could feel the care and kindness from the start. Chorizo looks incredible and had a pep in his step! We will Be back! Now Jasmine can be a little hyper so we were looking for a groomer who has patience with his clients and we were very impressed they were quick and very kind with her. This also has a self dog wash were you can bring in your 4 legged fur babies in and wash them yourself without fussing with you dog or cat in the bath tub. The customer service was great so I think we'll be making this place our permanent dog groomer for our sweet girl I highly recommend bringing your pet here for his or her grooming needs and did I mention they have an adorable selection of harnesses, leashes and collars? Stop in and shop they also carry pet treats.

I THINK they kept the old groomers phone #. When I first met Annie I found her to be the kindest, gentlest person you could ever meet. Nothing has changed. It's been I think 9 years. I've honestly never had a single issue there. Rebecca has been grooming our now 16 yr OLD bischon mix the last few years. Doing a fantastic job. Honestly only complaint I could possibly have is cost!! But, that isnt fair as life is just expensive these days!!!!

As someone who isn't familiar with grooming blade lengths, I was expecting a little guidance, but instead, I got attitude. When I picked up my dog, he looked fine at first glance, so I paid and even tipped. However, once we got home, I noticed a trail of blood and found a cut on his back foot. It's hard to believe the groomer didn't see this before handing him back to me. Either they ignored it, or they just weren't paying attention--neither of which is acceptable when working with animals. There was another groomer I saw who was more kind/welcoming but overall just not a good first experience and I won't be returning.

Our dog has been groomed twice with no issue before and she always came out looking spectacular…read more (see the picture) We brought our Golden Doodle (Daisy Mae) to Fuzzy Paws at a friends recommendation. First let me say our Doodle is brushed every day and her hair is fluffy and curly which means you cannot just run a brush or comb through it and she was bathed by us just two days ago. Here is the brush that is used everyday by us: https://www.petsmart.com/dog/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/only-natural-pet-pin-bristle-dog-brush-58150.html I'm wrong but the definition of matted hair doesn't mean you are unable to run a comb through it with no resistance like clean and straight human hair. So about 10 minutes after we drop her off we get a call that her legs are matted and the areas behind her legs are also matted so they need to shave her down to of an inch. The grooming had already started on her body so it was my understanding that we had a couple of options: 1) Not groom her legs, 2) take her as she was, 3) let the grooming continue. Hind sight being perfect we should have had them stop immediately when they said she was matted and gone to pick up our dog. We are not pleased with the outcome as can be seen from the attached photos showing grooming completed by another groomer in May of 2025, a picture before she went to Fuzzy Paws, and when she came home from Fuzzy Paws. Our guess is that they don't want to take the time and do the job correctly but rather say the dog is matted shave them and move on to the next paying customer.

This store keeps their animals in improper conditions with little to no enrichment and poor husbandry practices. I even asked an employee directly about their care standards, and they admitted they keep reptiles on reptile carpet -- something that is widely known in the reptile community to be unsafe due to: * bacteria buildup * risk of nail/toe injury * unsanitary conditions There was no concern, no accountability, and no effort to improve. Please do your research before supporting this business. No animal deserves to suffer due to neglect like this.

Today was the first time I I took Honeybun to Lisa's Doghouse to be groomed. What a wonderful experience! They did such an amazing job. I could not believe how cute Honeybun looked after they were done. I ask for a specific cut and they executed the cut perfectly way beyond my expectation! Honeybun is a teacup Yorkie and they were great with her. She was totally comfortable. They are animal lovers and it shows. The vibe was everything! I am happy to say that Honeybun has found her forever groomer/stylist! I couldn't be more happier with the job they did and how sweet they were to my Honeybun! Very reasonable priced. Absolutely amazing! Lisa was able to get us in for a nail trim on a Friday afternoon- right around closing time. She was very patient with a 4 month old puppy (who was very wiggly) and so kind. I was extremely impressed with her attitude and work ethic. She cut the nails, grinded the nails, and even used a nail file to get any remaining sharp edges. The nails were shorter and completely scratch-free! Her price was also much lower than other places. The business was very clean and pretty, and Lisa is lovely. We will definitely be back! read more

Today was the first time I took my poodle "Honeybelle" to Lisa's. Lisa did a fantastic job. Honey was a neglected mess. Lisa cleaned her up and Honey looks great and smells clean. Over the years Honey has been to many groomers who always complained that Honey was wild and hard to handle. Lisa didn't mention anything negative about Honey's behavior. Honey seems to have enjoyed her "spa" day. I'll definitely be taking Honey back to Lisa in the future. read more

Sarah and Lisa are both wonderful. Lisa stayed after hours on a Friday afternoon to help groom our badly matted doodle. She went above and beyond even when she wasn't technically supposed to be open.
