    Our experience with Watson Realty and the Gordon Team was extremely disappointing…read more The MLS listing was incomplete, important features of our home were omitted, and we found ourselves having to point out information that should have been included from the start. The photography felt rushed and poorly coordinated, and communication throughout the listing was lacking. We were not notified about a second showing, and we often felt left out of important parts of the process. When concerns were raised, they were not handled professionally. Instead of addressing issues, we were met with arguments and comments such as, "I've never had to do this before," which made it seem as though our concerns were being treated as an inconvenience. The service felt very hands-off, more like a lockbox listing than the full-service representation we expected. We also felt pressured to accept an extremely high 9% commission/closing cost structure that we believed was not in our best interest. The final straw was when we lost confidence in the representation and simply requested to be released from the listing agreement. Our request was denied. The situation became so difficult that we ultimately had to hire an attorney to help resolve the matter. Selling a home is one of the largest financial transactions most families will ever make. We expected professionalism, communication, and advocacy. Instead, we spent much of the process correcting mistakes, chasing information, and fighting to protect our own interests. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this team to other sellers. In 2026 we tried to sell our house using them, we are an official verified client.     So I was dealing with this realtor's under study, named Omar Flores, he is the one that actually…read moreshowed me the homes, ect., he constantly assured me this company would fight as hard as they could to get me the best price, and all things in an inspection report would be fixed before moving in as well. So that was not the case, there is multiple issues, and as for 1 of the issues, which was broken windows, Omar assured me they would be fixed at the cost of the realtor company as per Miguel Hernandez. How ever, they only fixed one window, which was the smallest one by the way, and I called several times, and even text, and asked for a personal call from this Miguel, however once the sale was done, so was he. I do obtain text in my possession from Omar Flores, with this information and I am looking into a small claims court case well. This Miguel also tried to pursue me to to purchase the first home i was interested in, but I declined due to it contains a septic tank, which i did not feel comfortable with, he is very arrogant and lacks customer skill relation, etc. i have my home inspection report, and I still have all texts from Omar Flores which states all my issues. It should be embarrassing to brag that you such a top realtor, yet cant seem to uphold an agreement which would seem like a minimal financial cost to his reputation and or company. In this time of ICE against our own culture, be on high alert for shady realtor as well, that only will communicate with you until he has received his money, and could care less of coaching his team to stick by the words you communicate to your customers. Will discourage people on a daily basis to work with him.

I bought my first property at the end of 2012 with Robert and Dawn and bought a second one in June 2015. In the past 2 months I sold both properties through Robert and Dawn. Robert and Dawn are extremely nice and responsive. Things I like about them: 1. They are very knowledgeable about the local market, the area, school districts and the rent market. Any houses I ask them about, they can give me an accurate rent estimate and cashflow analysis. In addition, they have their own investment properties so they are familiar with the rental market. The first house I bought has no issues with being rented out and I am extremely pleased with that. 2. As buyer agents, they are extremely patient and never push you into any decisions. Before I purchased the first property, I came to Bakersfield twice to see more than 10 houses and I didn't like any of them. I also put in offers for a few houses. It took me a while before I decided on the first investment property and I am happy that I wasn't pushed into the purchase decision at all. Robert and Dawn gave me enough time to decide and if I don't like it, OK fine, move onto the next prospective listing. 3. They always try their best to help me get the best price possible. During the purchase process of my second investment property, there were several back and forth with the seller and Dawn was able to help me get $2000 credit after we read the house inspection report. 4. They have great connections with contractors and gardeners. They referred extremely reliable contractor and gardener to me after I bought my investment properties. The people they referred gave me very fair price quote and did quality jobs. I will continue to trust Robert and Dawn for other referrals in Bakersfield real estate market. 5. My recent sale experience with Dawn and Robert have been extremely pleasant as well. Dawn helped me take care everything remotely from hiring gardener (after my property owner ditched me), getting carpet replacement, arranging for water turn on (after my tenant left), to encouraging me to go to accountant for any 1033 tax savings. I have nothing bad to say about them. The only thing I wish I did differently is that I should have gone to their recommended property manager after I purchased my investment properties. My own property manager was non responsive after knowing that I have decided to sell the house. So glad Robert and Dawn picked up the slack....I greatly appreciate it!!!!
