Bad finish... The caulking work throughout is horrendous...

Terrible experience... It's been nearly 2 years, and not a day goes by where the first thing staring at us in the worked upon areas still makes us wish we would have never hired this company... Sub-par crew for the work at hand. At all times with assurances of: "Don't worry. We'll take care of you." A worker had to be replaced during due to sub-par work and damage to our furniture... After assurances of being able to match paint (and "knowledge of the paint details down to the brand") the ceilings of 2 rooms in the house were painted with the wrong sheen/color - INSTEAD of correcting the issue by replacing the wrong paint, Patrick Liskey simply painted the ENTIRE CEILINGS WITH THE WRONG PAINT and THEN INFORMED ME of the outcome (presumably to not have to incur the additional paint costs out of his own pocket). On the ceiling repair in the Master Bedroom - we expressed our concern with the outcome of his crew's repairs - Patrick's response was: "Well, that's the extent of the quality of the repairs per the quote I gave you. If you WANT IT DONE RIGHT, IT WOULD COST AT LEAST ANOTHER $850..." Really? Do you then think you could have told us that BEFORE we gave the "go ahead" on the work???? We repeatedly tried to reach an outcome (multiple emails exchanged) where an opportunity was given to his company to rectify multiple issues (I'm just scratching the surface of the issues here), and were told: "We have another big job to go to, but please pay me the balance; so I may be able to pay my guys, and I promise to be back in a few weeks to fix the ceiling and the other issues and pending items." Really, Pal? The work was initially slow (with the crew primarily being left without Liskey's supervision after the first few construction days) which I thought could be a good thing and potentially translate in attention to detail - Man, was I wrong... At the prospect of another job Mr. Liskey came in and they hurried to finish leaving terrible, or thoroughly unfinished work behind... THEY "PAINTED" A DOOR (leaving drips and streaks of dried paint on it - I couldn't believe the poor quality of the work) AND LEFT IT SHUT TO DRY!!!!!!!!!!????????????? Absolutely would not recommend.

We really like our new backyard covered patio. Patrick and his crew were very professional and used quality materials. They hauled away old patio wood and rebuilt the patio with roofing material. Also, they rewired the patio light fixture for us to install an outdoor ceiling fan. For any future home improvements, we'll definitely hire this awesome team again.

From the initial planning phases to the final inspection, the entire team was professional, transparent, and incredibly skilled. Maximizing a smaller footprint (around 320+ sq. ft.) requires smart design, and they nailed it. The craftsmanship is excellent, though the project was delayed (primarily because of additional nuanced city requirements), their communication throughout the construction process kept us at ease. Though not everything went smoothly, they appropriately addressed and rectified any issues that popped up during the construction process. If you are looking to build an ADU in the OC area, save yourself the headache and go with this team. We gladly recommend OC Builders to family and friends. We were incredibly satisfied throughout the build process and of course the results are beautiful, and will definitely go with this team again should another project come up. They deliver high-quality work and true professionalism!

Being in the engineering field, I'm admittedly not the easiest client--I pay a lot of attention to the technical details and have very high standards, but OC Builders Group has been incredibly accommodating and professional throughout. The conceptual design phase with Moe was great. He helped us navigate a functional design that included adding to the front of the house, extending the back to significantly increase our kitchen space, and adding a bathroom to one of the rooms to create a master bath. On the execution side, my project manager, Mike, has been fantastic to work with, and Casandra has been a huge help with scheduling and staying responsive to all my questions. It's rare to find a team that is this easy to work with when you're as detail-oriented as I am. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final 10% come together! Thank you OC builders!

Scope of work: Kitchen + Master Bath + Guest Bath complete demo and remodel, downstairs flooring…read more(from carpet/tile to LVP), tile around the fireplace, and door/frame repaint Few things I wish I knew before starting the project (this was my first big renovation): - When obtaining quotes, clearly communicate the materials you want included in the quote (e.g., quote based on current layout, quote based on kitchen cabinets going all the way to the ceiling, quote based on shower tiles going all the way to the ceiling, etc.). This will help to make the quotes more comparable and will ensure there aren't any major surprises along the way. - Confirm working hours (e.g., what time they will start each day, what time they will finish each day, do they work weekends, etc.). - If you have the space, buy new appliances as soon as possible. Similarly, order shower glass doors as soon as tiling is done. You never know when something will go out of stock or if there will be unexpected delays in delivery. - Be prepared to make all the design choices (unless you hire a separate designer). They will opine on something very specific if you ask and will definitely bring something to your attention if they think you're about to make a huge mistake, but in general, you are responsible for all the materials selection. We met with 6 contractors before selecting Entourage. Of the 6 we met with, only 2 encouraged doing things "by the book" (i.e., getting the proper permit from the city). In fact, some of them actively discouraged us from obtaining the permit. Given the magnitude of the project, it made us a bit nervous that some of the contractors didn't want us to pull the proper permit (we understood that obtaining the permit will add to our budget and timeline and were ok with it). Of the 2 that did recommend doing things by the book, we went with Entourage because their pricing was more reasonable. FYI, Entourage handles all the work related to pulling the permit for minimal cost. Overall, we are very happy with how our house turned out and plan to hire them on future projects (we have also recommended them to several friends). Entourage's quality of work, especially as it relates to tiling, is just amazing. In fact, friends that came over to check out the "new" house commented on how they thought the project would've cost way more than what we ended up spending. Our primary contact, Paulina, was super responsive and helpful. They estimated that the project would take 3 - 4 months and it was completed almost exactly on the 3-month mark. I HIGHLY recommend Entourage Home Remodeling.

We've done so many things that I couldn't attach all the photos as it's reached Yelp's limit.. Our shower valve bursted so we needed a restoration for the kitchen (right down below) and the master bathroom. Overall they renovated our kitchen, master bathroom, second-floor flooring, stairs, and replaced our water regulator and some water boxes. The results exceeded our expectations. I still remember after installing the cabinets, I noticed the pantry and one more cabinet's doors were very slightly not aligned and was planning to tell Martin about it. However before I had the chance it was already fixed. We really appreciate such details. The crew was very professional and kept the space as clean as possible during construction. Our home feels completely transformed, and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for renovation work.

Every detail was executed with precision, and it's clear they take real pride in their craft. What truly sets COVA Construction apart, though, is that they consistently went above and beyond--doing things the right way, not the easy way. It's rare to find a construction company that delivers elite detail, integrity, and reliability all at once. COVA Construction did exactly that. I'm absolutely pleased and thankful with my new kitchen and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for top-tier work. If you're considering COVA Construction--stop considering and hire them.
