Located on the Naperville / Oswego border where 95th St dead-ends into Wolf's Crossing Rd, this public park incorporates 33 acres of carefully planned and meticulously maintained space. It's the perfect answer when asked by your kid for the umpteenth time "wHaT aRe wE dOoOiNg ToDaY?" This complex features a playground, splash pad, covered pavilion, basketball courts, sand volleyball, tennis/pickleball courts, a lookout point with sledding hill and a ninja warrior obstacle course. It connects to various biking trails and there's onsite public bathrooms with plenty of parking. The ~100ft zipline is a standout feature and draws a considerable line on busier days. Watching kids nearly get yeeted off into the bushes makes for great theater! I assume the weight limit is 200lbs so next time I'ma have a go at it (get outta my way, kids!) The only thing missing is concessions, as the lone pop machine near the restrooms didn't appear to work. I think there's enough people here on a routine basis to warrant building a snack shop! I'd love to serve nachos and root beer to hungry peeps, as long as I got paid $25/hr. * TL;DR * This idyllic, multi-faceted rec area is fully deserving of its perfect rating. Wolf's Crossing Community Park was built with young children and special accommodations in mind, easily accessible to all ages & abilities. The fam spent several hours here (granted, most of them were confined to the splash pad) and we barely scratched the surface. I can't wait to beast through that legit obstacle course some day when I remember to wear close-toed shoes. Ain't no way my clumsy ass is making it through there in flip flops. WCCP has tons of what we in the gaming realm refer to as "replayability", essentially, is there enough stuff to do on repeat visits? You bet there is! There were many toys that made noises, rocking horses, a large green dome with holes, and a smaller playground with slides. They are still fundraising to build a playground for children 5-12 years old. Once that playground is built I'm sure it will be even more of a hit for families. That said there are features that the 5-12 year olds will like! Two large slides, an obstacle to climb on, and a glider swing. There are also several walking trails. My son loved this park! When I walked around today I saw a duck and what I think was a crane. And apparently I didn't even see half of the park as I didn't walk as far as the playground or paths shown in other's photos. Lots of benches scattered throughout for folks who'd like to stop and maybe just enjoy for a while.

I noticed this park when I took a different way to my sitter's house, and decided to check it out yesterday when it was warm-ish. Needless to say we've been a bit stir-crazy staying indoors so much this winter! I really like several things: first, the equipment has some special needs accessibility. You can walk on to the equipment from the sidewalk, since there is a ramp built in! This area has a smaller slide that my toddler could navigate on his own. There is a variety of equipment for older kids to climb, and also several different slides. There is a separate toddler/smaller kid play area with 3 slides (2 tandem) that my little 19 month old could access with some help. Finally, there are 4 swings available: 2 baby buckets, and 2 for bigger kids. The turf is covered in wood chips and surrounded by black (plastic?) beams bolted into the ground. I didn't see a speck of trash anywhere! It's a pretty large area, and my son had lots of room to just run around and expend his energy. I enjoyed the scenic view of the pond, which is surrounded by a crushed limestone trail. Definitely a fan! Too bad we don't live right down the street. Luckily my sitter does, so we'll be using this park at least when I pick up the kids!

Every time we come here we spot some kind of active wildlife. The pond also has HUGE carp. I'm not sure if fishing is allowed but if it is, This would be an awesome place to fish. The carp are always active and will jump up out of the water and scare you ;) ducks, turtles, snakes, are just of the few creatures we have run into here. Visit when the weather is nice and you'll see a lot of the local wildlife. There are a few picnic tables and benches scattered all around the property if you're looking for somewhere to play and eat outdoors! We like it here!

This playground is made for all ages. The park district usually has a few picnic table next to the playground. There is a pavilion with more picnic tables within walking distance. There are no public restrooms but there is a port a pot across the parking lot. You can use the restrooms at the sea lion aquatic park if you're there after 4pm. Across from the park/ aquatic area...you will find a large lake with a walking path. This is the perfect area to go for a long walk. Overall-- kids love this playground and adults love the walking path on a beautiful day!!

The sea lion pool is right behind the park so it's a great place to spend the day!! We usually come to the park and pack a lunch so that we can hangout for a while. There are picnic tables but we usually just bring a blanket and sit in the shaded areas. The only downside to this play area is that there is no regular bathroom. Luckily there are baseball fields close by so there are Porta Pottys at least. During the summer time, the park district hosts fun concerts, it's called the totally Tuesday events. Just watch for all the campers, it can get crowded!!

Busy roads make it kind of noisy but that's typical of many parks around here. There's also athletic facilities on the other side of Washington Street from the main part. Good place to go on a bicycle. It looks like a pretty nondescript park, as far as parks around here. The park is at the intersection of Royce and Washington. It has a few trails connecting to other parks around here. This is also close to Whalon Lake. It has some wide open grassy areas. There's trees but not a lot. Across the street are athletic fields. This is also the location of parking. Business picks up when there's a youth sports league. There's baseball, soccer, and more. Busy roads are the bad thing about it. It also only has parking on the side with the athletic facilities so it means you have to cross the street to get to the main part. Trails connect it to Whalon Lake and other parks, great for bicycling and stuff.

The Seven Bridges park has a large playground and swings...suitable for many ages. There is a short walking path, basketball court, tennis court, and a covered area with picnic tables. This park is in a neighborhood so there is no parking lot but you can park on the street. This park does not have a bathroom so you can't stay too long. Overall- great place to pack a lunch and play outside on a beautiful day!!
