Located in downtown Lisle off Main Street,this is a small pond and kids play area that is super clean . There is a walking trail around the pond which has many native wild plants and flowers . There are many areas to sit as well as a beautiful fountain . Parking is very easy but we did see any public facilities. Most of the plants are Monarch Butterfly friendly so definitely a place you will want to visit in the summer. read more

This is a nice park with the splash pad, some slides and climbing structures and some rocking contraptions that are obviously safer than the teeter totters we slammed each other to the ground on when I was a child. But...no swings? There's a trail that surrounds it for walking, a pond that was getting overrun with scum despite two fountains agitating the water, a gazebo, a number of benches and places to lock your bike. I'm torn between a 4 & 5 here. When my daughter was smaller, we'd walk walk. Now she's at the age they did their homecoming pictures here!! The splash pad is nice when it's hot, it's FREE! I'd rank it hirer if there were more places to sit, or if they expanded a bit farther west, with some more covered seating, another few picnic tables or places to play would be great! But it's fun to walk here, and walk around the man made lake. The landscaping with native plants is really nice. read more

Fun playground & splash pad! This park is sort of tucked away...off of 53 & Ogden. There is a nearby pond if you would like a walking trail. The parking lot is hidden off of the side street. The playground is next to a splash pad. I'm not sure on the hours but it's a great place on a hot summer day! BEWARE of large/ sharp rocks around the splash pad. These can be dangerous but I think the kids can still play safely. This park does not have a restroom. I'm not sure if they bring in a port a pot during the summer months. Yes indeedy. Hot fun in the summer time. Hot FREE fun. The best kind especially when you have kids. When you arrive here, look for the parking lot that's behind Prairie Walk Pond along garfieYou'll want to park in one of the spots in Lot G that's labeled free with a 4 hour limit. There aren't that many of these spots unfortunately, and I'm not sure how strict they are about tickets and towing. So another place you could park is along Main Street. You'll want to park on the street between John Dough and Comcast. After you park there'll be a fountain with cranes and turtles, and behind that fountain there's a walkway in between buildings. Follow that walk way and it'll take you thru the parking lot and after you cross Garfield Ave, Dragonfly Landing is on your right side. No time limit and no tickets. It's a pleasant walk as well. There's not much I can add about the splash pad that my fellow yelpers haven't already said. The water is pretty cold, the kids don't seem to mind, but the warmer the day the better. I've witnessed a few slips every time I go. It's bound to happen with water and happy running kids. I recommend having the little ones wear non slip water shoes or let your voice get horse after yelling "No RUNNING!" The bathroom situation is a problem. Theres just a porta potty. There's also no area to change from wet clothes to dry. Be warned that you may need to give the kids a few minutes to dry up if it's warm enough. I have mine walk around Prairie Walk Pond with me. They love the gazebo and fountains. Or just let them dry up in the car on the way home. Also be forewarned that the playground next to the splash pad is mulch, so shoes are a good idea. Again. It's free. The kids'll love it. And I'll also have to recommend a stop at The Book Nook that's nearby. Ice cream, candy or popcorn at an old school general store is a perfect ending to a hot fun filled trip. read more

A very fun splash pad and playground. Its free, which is great! Its a well kept park and all of the families there were very friendly. My only complaint was that there were a tons of leaves blocking the drain causing water to pool around the splash bad. But honestly, my kid loved playing in the puddles, so maybe they shouls keep the leaves there. read more

Dragonfly Landing splash pad is a great water park for the young kids! Great chance to cool down on those HOT summer days! It features giant colorful flowers that mist water and many other jetting water fountains that the kids can run through. The splash pad park is free and there is also plenty of free parking close by. This was a LOT OF FUN for the young kids! The village has not appointed an exact address for this park, but it is located at the PrarieWalk Pond, in downtown Lisle. It is bordered by Route 53 on the West, Ogden Avenue on the North and Garfield Avenue on the East. read more

We love coming here, especially during the summer!! There is an awesome playground, very cool for older kids, but a bit tricky for the younger ones because there are some tall climbing pieces. The ground is covered in mulch so make sure the kids are wearing sneakers!! There is also a splash pad with a lot of different spouts, a walking path, and a pavilion with picnic tables. The best part is it is free!!! There are some sharp rocks near the splash pad, so you have to make sure the kids don't run near them! If you're planning on going to the park make sure to get there early because there are only a few spots or be prepared to walk a little further from the main road. There are no permanent bathrooms but they do have a Porta potty. read more

This place is awesome! It truly is a hidden gem. I have lived in lisle for 3 years now and never seen the place. Thank God for yelp! The kids had a blast it was really warm and sunny today and a perfect day to take them. The water is icy cold and they also have a park the kids can play on too this will be our new summer spot loved it! Beware that there isn't any parking in front of the park. They do have a lot close by but it's not a lot of parks but if your not far you can walk or wait for someone to come out I waited for about 1 minute so it wasn't bad at all read more

Hot summers are hot. Even when the AC is on in the car. Running errands with a toddler is hard enough but when it gets hot, the sidekick (and the mom) can get kind of cranky. But thank goodness for splash parks. All the cool mistiness and break time without the prep work of going to a pool. It's FREE! Dragonfly Landing is a nice spot tucked next to Prairie Walk Pond. I like that the spray area has different levels of spouts. There are small water spouts for the tykes that don't want to get super soaked (and for the parents that just want to cool their feet). There are medium spouts, the sprinkling flower spouts and then the large "stand under me and you'll get a bucketful of water dumped on you" kind of spout. It seems like the spray park is kept relatively clean too. There's also a small play area with slides and jumpy-twisty stools. There are no full bathrooms, just the porta-stall and the porta-water for washing your hands. I do like the shaded area from the big tree and the green roof on the patio. It's green because it's made from natural living material. basically grass growing on the roof! Pretty neat. The other reviewer said there is plenty of parking. There is a nice sized parking lot down the road, but only one block is free, the other block of parking requires a permit. I had to circle a few times until someone left the free block. I don't know how strict they are for permit parking but I've had my fair share of tickets, so I just stuck to marked free parking slots. The Prairie Walk Pond area looked like a nice place to take a stroll too. read more

This place was fun! We decided to meet some friends here today thanks to Aimee M's review. I knew yelp was great for restaurants, salons, etc. but never realized until recently how helpful it would be in finding new kid stuff to do! I love the setup of this splash pad and playground. Wet and dry activities are close together, making it easy to spot my son as he bounced around. There is a shaded area with a few tables, along with (my favorite part) a BIG shady tree where baby could lay on a blanket in the grass and keep cool. We also enjoyed a lap around the pond. My only knock, as mentioned by others, is the lack of a real restroom. Port-o-potty will do for emergencies, but it's not the best with kids. read more

On Memorial Day my wife and I chose to pack the pups and have a picnic at Dragonfly Landing. With its flag memorial, this was the perfect spot to pay tribute to those who served. Thanks to the Lisle Park District for doing such a nice job honoring the military, and just for the park itself. It's beautiful, peaceful and the perfect spot to spend time outdoors. The pond is lovely, and the gazebo is a nice place to catch some shade while watching the world go by. read more

Great free place for kids to play on playground equipment and in water (but just stay out of the pond). My young niece and nephew love it! I was there several times with them in 2015. It's open from around Memorial Day to Labor Day. The engineering of the splash pad must have been off a little, because the water is constantly hitting the surrounding dirt, creating huge, slippery mud puddles. My toddler slipped three times due the muddy mess on the edges of the splash pad. On hot days parking is also kind of a nightmare. There is limited space in the adjacent parking lot and street parking is not allowed. read more
