Tucked away on a side street in nuremberg you'll find this gem. At first it looks a little too fancy for the average tourist but don't let that stop you because the food is amazing! And it's really not fussy at all. There's plenty of outside seating, but it was full when we got there, so we were seated inside just behind the patio seating at a very large open wall of glass. Service was a little slow but it was the height of the dinner rush with two servers covering it all. (doing a great job). When our waiter did make it over to us he was helpful by telling us that there are two prices next to each entree. One is the adult portion. The other is the children's portion. You can get the smaller portion if you want though. My husband ordered a French Onion Soup to start. I hate I didn't get a picture of it because it was AMAZING! (Definitely all caps for dramatic purposes) It's not a typical beef and wine broth but the a lmost chicken stock colored broth that was very very good. And the cheese! So delicious. We all agreed if that was any indication of what was to come we were good as gold. (And it was) Every one of us were mmmmmmm-ing the entire time. I most definitely recommend you giving this place a shot. In my opinion, you will NOT regret it.

The food is perfection. The service is wonderful. The inside opens to the veranda and the view is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Here over the weekend for work in Bavaria, it was time for Sunday Brunch in this delightful Medieval city of Nurnberg, Germany. We stopped into this literature-themed cafe for a little local fare. Got great service with several suggestions before our group settled on offerings of home-made Pumpkin Soup, a fresh and healthy salad, a bowl of trusty Pasta and of course a good old gigantic Schnitzel! Complimented with a mug of local Kloster-Bier von Fass, the experience was all good. A great start to the week in this classic German town with a very interesting past.

I loved the books that filled the walls and shelves of this restaurant. There were many delicious looking pastries, in cases, as you entered the doors. Unfortunately, I didn't get to partake in the desserts, because I was full after eating a delicious, traditional, German dinner. The service was average but the food arrived very quickly, which was nice. I would return to this restaurant to try the desserts!

Good food and service. Nice place for a late lunch. The salads were very fresh with a nice dressing.

The bratwurst was delicious: savory and flavorful. It had a slight char on the outside, and juicy inside. The roll was just as good. The crust was crisp and and inside was soft and pillowy. I especially liked eating it with sauerkraut which balances out the balance out the grease and heaviness of the bratwurst. There's also service was slow as we learned throughout our trip. It's just the norm so don't expect any quick service. Overall, we enjoyed our food very much and would love to go back to try out other items on their menu if we ever end up in Nuremberg in the future.

For my meal, I ordered 8 sausages with potato salad. The sausages were amazing. If I wasn't a broke student, you best believe I would have ordered at least a dozen more. That's not to say they weren't filling; rather, they were just that good. The potato salad was good. Not much to say on that other than it is good. Finally, I got apple strudel. This left me a bit disappointed as it was average at best. Overall, definitely stop by after visiting the best museum in the world just up the road (ok a bit more than that but you know what I'm saying).
