We purchased a few mugs of hers and plan to commission a family platter. Sally had her wares organized by the colors she chooses in the glazing process, which are quite amazing. Even the clay is of different densities rendering each item a little heavier or lighter. When you are holding a nice black clay coffee mug that holds in the heat of the coffee and pairs wonderfully against your lips on each sip, it's pure delight every morning. All her items are dishwasher and microwave safe. Really fascinating to hear her speak about her craft. I highly recommend visiting.

Why? Because at Dayton Urban Nights they hosted a streamroller making art prints on the roof of the Arts Garage! They had me at steamroller. What a creative concept! They took a steamroller to the roof of the Arts Garage and had local artists create lithographic prints using the weight of the roller. It was fun to watch and everyone involved was having a great time. I just wish that the public could have been given a chance to purchase some of the artwork made. I would love to have one of those!
