They fixed it only after I pointed it out. The job was sloppy, it's like expensive materials used to make a sloppy frame. They don't deserve to use such materials. Also I got a quote from 10k frames for the same materials and they were $200 less! I felt so bad I didn't go to them first. I'm going to reframe the work soon just so I can say someone else did it. And they had the nerve to put their information at the back of the frame so unprofessionally, of course I took it off! I will go elsewhere unless I wanted hobby work done with expensive materials that are not even that expensive they over charged me by $200. Walnut and museum glass is not that expensive! I'm not going to tell people where to frame their work but I will let you know I'm never recommending anyone when they ask me and I will never go here again.

We purchased a few mugs of hers and plan to commission a family platter. Sally had her wares organized by the colors she chooses in the glazing process, which are quite amazing. Even the clay is of different densities rendering each item a little heavier or lighter. When you are holding a nice black clay coffee mug that holds in the heat of the coffee and pairs wonderfully against your lips on each sip, it's pure delight every morning. All her items are dishwasher and microwave safe. Really fascinating to hear her speak about her craft. I highly recommend visiting.

When you go, sign in to the guest register and then head over to the greeter's desk. A greeter will take a couple of minutes to give you a little background about the building and how to best navigate the two floors of exhibits. The first floor was the more interesting of the two. There's plenty to look at, and it's presented very well. Be sure to walk all the way back to see the model recreation of the city streets of downtown Springfield during the 50s and 60s. The second floor isn't as full or as interesting but is worth the stairs or elevator ride up. Pro tip: Be sure to look up to the ceiling. There's almost as much to see up there and on the floor. No joke. Admission is a donation of your choice, but there's a suggested amount listed that is more than fair. If you are into history, go. It's one of Ohio's better history museums. We have gone every year for about 8 years I believe and although the decor doesn't change too much my grandkids are amazed each time. I grew up near this area and am happy to see as much of it preserved as possible. It's essentially free and no charge to take pictures with Santa. We leave a donation but it's optional and a lot of younger parents can appreciate they aren't charged outrageous amounts to see Santa. Also, this Santa is very authentic and believable for the kids. Really nice and very appreciated by my family each year.

I have been using the services of Frame Haven for decades - literally. When the current owners…read morebought it from the previous ones, I was a little skeptical. Don and Audrey have continued the quality service that the former owners had established. They are more than willing to take whatever time it takes for you to get the right frame and matting for your print/photo/tapestry. Another poster indicated the work done by Frame Haven is not cheap, which is true. However there is no framing to be done with such personal service that is cheap. That being said, I don't believe you will find a more reasonable place anywhere in the area! The very first time I used Frame Haven, they were almost half the cost of a competitor. I have had them frame everything from cheap prints that I liked to valued family heirlooms. I got the same high level of service and quality product each time. It takes me a little over half an hour to get there, but I'd travel twice that far without hesitation. In fact, we picked up one piece last week and dropped off another. I am picking it up tomorrow!
