Paid Jason Crusan $700 in advance for a job. He specifically asked for money up front with a sob…read morestory about fixing a car. I paid him up front and kept in touch to schedule the job. I notified him 3 weeks in advance when I would be ready. He acknowledged the date. As it got closer he said he would come in the afternoon and didn't show up until the next day. Worked about 3 hours and left. He worked the following day for 2 hours and told me he was going to get lunch and never came back. He then skipped a few days of working on my job. He told me he had me scheduled for a few days and would absolutely me done by the following Tuesday. I became agitated about his lack of work and informed him the work needed completed. He did come back for another day of work and then picked up all of his tools and I never saw him again. He did not even complete half of the job and told me that he felt he gave me $700 worth of work.The contract for the job states the work and the price. He then confessed that he scheduled too Much work for himself and would refund my money over a week later when he gets paid from another job. That Friday came and he said he had to let the check clear to be able to pay me my refund. He did refund me $100 and that was the last that I heard from him. He also damaged brand new flooring that was installed in the house the week before by shooting a nail from a nail gun up through it. He also smashed a thermostat wire and caused my furnace to run nonstop all weekend Had to have an HVAC technician come out and pay a service call to repair it. The work that he did complete was terribly done. Framing was falling apart and some was barely hanging on. It took him about 10 days to accumulate 14 hours of work before he abandoned the job. He continues to lie and tell me that he is going to refund me but I never got any reimbursement from the check that needed to clear for my unfinished work nor for the damage done.
