The location is superb, just steps from the Ephraim Public Beach and in the heart of everything on the west coast of Door County, tucked in between Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Grill a bit on your individual Weber kettle, bring your favorite foods so you don't have to eat every meal out, hang out at night by the fire pit with a nice cold beverage. This is the real deal. You want a hammock? Check. Yard games available for you and yours to have fun with? Check. Wish you could walk to Wilsons for an ice cream? Check. Wifi? Check. GOOD wifi? Check and check. Not only was the accommodations cozy, cute, and comfortable, but also our hosts were genuinely caring and hospitable. In addition to resting and getting to explore Ephraim and the surrounding towns we got to give a fireside talk about our hike around the fire pit with about 18 other people. We rented a 2-storey townhouse unit through our owners membership in Club Wyndham Destinations. It's a beautiful unit with a dedicated garage, two full bathrooms with jetted spa tubs and large shower stalls. The fireplace is real and there are wood logs provided. The master bedroom is massive, the kitchen fully stocked (as with all Wyndhams), but for us the best feature is the enclosed, heated patio with a comfy 4-chairs/table set. It leads to an outdoor deck with a Weber grill. The Recreation Center has a good sized heated pool indoors and outdoor hot tub. You can rent cross country ski equipment or ice skates for outdoor Winter activities. The townhouses are truly young-family-friendly as evidenced by the high chair and booster seat in the front closet. Little Sweden is in Fish Creek, WI, a very cute touristy town. We enjoyed shopping and even attending a local church service on Sunday. For the Summer, we look forward to boating and fishing. We hope to return in the Summer.

The cost during the summer is around $1,600 including taxes and an additional amount ($20/day per person) for guests.

More importantly, it wasn't clean. Saw e crumbs under a living room chair, tortilla chip on the kitchen rug, dirty dishes a cabinet and dirty waste cans. The charming firepit area on the website photo was now a small broken-down little fire ring. There was giant pile of tree branches, leaves and debris covering half the backyard and piled 8-10-foot-high by the back fence. Both upstairs bedrooms featured broken screens needing repair. Lundquist did send a cleaning crew out the next day and had the screens repaired, but they insisted that the house wasn't misrepresented in the photos online, even though the photos on the website were changed midweek to reflect the current setup. We wasted the first 2 1/2 days of our vacation on dealing with the issues around the rental. Lundquist would not offer even a small credit to compensate for our loss of vacation time. We will not rent from Lundquist again.

I read each review prior to our five day stay at the cottages so I was nervous what we would find…read morewhen we arrived. I was so pleasantly surprised! It is clear they have done many interior and exterior updates! Much of the cottage appeared to have a fresh coat of paint, it was very clean and the view could not better. Everyone was so welcoming and we loved it so much we tried to book our next stay there before we left. We have stayed all over Door County, this is our absolute favorite spot and favorite vacation yet.

The two window air conditioning units in each bedroom were so loud we could not sleep. The exterior doors did not close properly so it never got cool in the cottage. The only reason I can give them 1 star is it's on the water, but it in no way makes up for the dirtiness. One last thing I find absurd they charge a $50.00 cleaning fee!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!
