He also refused to spay and microchip her and instead referred me to a behavioral clinic and said to bring her back when she's no longer terrified. So what? A frightened rescue dog has to risk her well-being by not receiving preventative medical care because he doesn't have the compassion or time to treat her? He also talked to me in an accusatory tone, as if I was the cause of her fear. I have 30 years of fostering experience; I'm not new at this. I have taken many frightened dogs to the vet and I will go elsewhere where this dog and I will be treated with dignity and respect. Thanks for nothing.
