I have to echo all the rave reviews for Janet and the variety of classes offered through Good Dog…read more Like others have said, she changed our lives and our relationship with our dog. We learned so many important things through her private training and the puppy socialization course. She turned our puppy into our friend who turned into a family member who turned into our first child! Within the first week of receiving our Beabull puppy (3/4 English Bulldog, 1/4 Beagle) two years ago, she began to behave obnoxiously dominant. She would attack my ankles any time we would play, if we tried to hold her down to show our dominance she would NEVER tire of scratching our arms until they were bloodied and bruised, she would do the opposite of everything we asked/showed, and she humped me all the time. There were times that I would cry on the couch because of her behavior, and times my husband confessed that coming home felt like more work than his actual job because of he could never just relax with our dog acting out nonstop. Janet came to our home and made our jaws drop, as her presence changed our dog's behavior immediately. She never lost her patience and taught me how to assert dominance easily. Her guidance rewards good behavior and helped us feel mounds more confident when faced with difficult moments. Our frustration decreased steadily and our pup slowly began to treat us with respect and love. She stopped attacking my heels within a day, and let us hold her down/put our hands in and on her mouth/ears/paws quickly. The humping has stopped over time and she listens very well. I never cried because of my dog after we were helped by Janet. I also recommend so highly the Puppy Socialization class. Aside from our wee one learning sit, down, shake, stay, come and how to walk on a leash better, she made some puppy friends and overcame her shyness around bigger dogs by the end of the course. We were also introduced to the agility/games course which was SO MUCH FUN! We noticed a big change in our dog's confidence and also loyalty to us as we built our bond through training. Additionally, all the staff seems very in tune with each dogs individual needs and never let anyone feel embarrassed or unwelcome because of a misbehavior. Good Dog Training was the catalyst for positive behavior with our dog. I credit the staff and Janet for teaching us how to become amazing parents to our pup and for giving our girl confidence and a conscience.

What intrigued me about Granny's - #1 - She 'interviews' you and your dog before accepting. If she feels that your dog is too aggressive, she won't board.(My dogs and I spent over an hour with her, getting to know her and her place, and interviewing her as well.) #2 - She has been boarding dogs for 17 years - SHE KNOWS DOGS #3 - Her back yard is better than any dog park I've seen. Totally enclosed. Mowed and kept. #4 - If your pooch wants to sleep in her bed - that's great! Good to know: Michelle loves dogs and their health and happiness and well being are all in her best interest. DO NOT expect your dog to come home groomed and smelling pretty! (That's a minor thing.) Final Words: This was my first time boarding my babies (yorkies) with Michelle. When I HAVE to leave them again, it will definitely be with Granny's Pet Care. - They came home so happy, and healthy (and I gave them baths . .. . . . ) lol

It was a long period, so I was really considerate and careful when choosing the dog sitter. Then I met Sasha and she completely gained my trust! She offered to meet before the actual date to get to know my pup. She took the schedule and every instruction I gave her seriously and she stick to it! I honestly can not do a better job myself. Of course Sasha gave me up to date on my puppy everyday (she took amazing pictures lol). This is a review for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding…read more I found Peaceable Pets after a very thorough vetting (I am convinced I should have been cast in the movie Best in Show--yes, that is how much of a crazy dog lady I consider myself). Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet's Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn't even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.

Jackie, Luke and their team at Nature of the Dog immediately put my anxiety over a new kennel to rest. The whole team is incredible! Very professional and loving with the dogs. Sami jumps out of the car when we arrive and is totally exhausted when I pick her up. And............ as if best in class daycare/boarding care isn't enough, they have a wonderful Farm Store where I buy fantastic, professionally processed eggs, beef, and chicken.

Yet when I brought him for his first visit, he was nervous, I could see he wasn't afraid. He loved his groomer! When I picked him up he looked lovely, and I could just tell, he wasn't traumatized as he sometimes can be a bit when he has to go to the groomer. My instructions were followed to the letter and the groomer listened patiently to my concerns about my little Levi and his issues. Even though this groomer is quite far from my home, the experience for Levi was so positive, I'll be taking him back!
