And despite his attitude, he proved (surprising) he knew nothing about brokering a deal in the restaurant/bar industry. He didn't even know standard procedures when dealing with specifics. When talking to him about village code, he said to go and talk to the mayor. We told him over and over, the mayor does not dictate building code and realistically has very little say in it. After dealing with this nightmare, we obtained a broker to try and educate this guy on the business. His attitude went from condescending to childish and it took 2 weeks to even start talking about the property because he was sour about splitting the commission. Clearly a sign he doesn't care about the client or deal. Even after the fact, a deal never got made and I believe the landlord missed a great opportunity with a company that has been in the bar industry for 20 years. Since 2022 I have been contacting this realty estate company about concerning trees and ivy growth. I have contacted this company numerous times about ivy growth coming through and killing my fence. With that complaint I have also made them aware of ivy growth on the trees along our property line. The trees are engulfed in ivy that you can even see the trees. The ivy is killing limbs that are dropping in my yard. The major concern is a massive tree that leans more and more every year. In the direction it's leaning it will take out my entire fence, thousands of dollars worth of arborvitae's, my gazebo and outdoor entertainment area with an outdoor kitchen. I have spent my own money to have the limbs cut at the fenceline but even with that I still get dead limbs and leaves dropping in my yard.
