I was mistaken (minus the thick accent part). The location itself could be considered a bit "janky" but honestly, it adds to the character of the place. What I thought: The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. He even gave my friend a few tips about wearing a suit. He is a bit of a chatty person but not in a creepy way. It is about 10 bucks to hem pants wich isn't bad for next day service. My (former) tailor in Flint charged me less but his attitude alone is enough to get me to ay a couple extra dollars for better, friendlier, service. My recommendation: Of the two places I have been for tailor services, this is the best. Don't be a rude customer and you will be treated very well.

Without an appointment, the staff pulled several dresses in each style to try even though they knew I would more than likely not purchase a gown that day. They were all extremely nice and knowledgable. I found a gown I really loved there for a fraction of my budget and almost bought it right then! What should have been one of the happiest moments of her life turned into complete humiliation and heartbreak when she was suddenly told she was not allowed to purchase the dress after all. This kind of bait-and-switch behavior is not only cruel it violates basic principles of decency and and several Michigan consumer protection laws. The staff did absolutely nothing to help or console her afterward. No one followed up, no one apologized, and no one made any effort to make it right. Instead, they left a sweet, innocent young girl crying and traumatized. As a military Veteran and community leader I urge all families to not shop here, and to take your business elsewhere. This company ignored my asks, disregarded my child and spit on military families everywhere. Boycott all Bridal by Viper locations.
