She is easy to book, very responsive to questions. I have three boys in separate, custom enclosures, and they aren't great travelers. Leslie comes by once or twice a day to my apartment when I'm away and takes care of all the food, cleaning and treats that this little dudes require. She sends lots of pictures and updates. Our only point of criticism is that we were not informed about the dosages for the antibiotics. Just to be given twice a day. The bill came to $507, which is standard in the Vancouver area. The big ticket item was the urinalysis, which is necessary to see if it is more than a UTI. I would recommend this place. We really liked Dr. Dodds.

Everything is so clean and the atmosphere inside is calm and relaxing. When we first visited the hotel, we were amazed that the owner (Sandy) built a separate house on her property just for the cats. The hotel is immaculate and the floors are heated (for the kitties comfort). There are 2 levels to the facility, the larger rooms (floor to ceiling) on the lower level while smaller rooms are upstairs. The facility has a monitored fire/security alarm system. I am an anxious pet owner and knowing that the cats are here when we're away, I feel completely at ease because they are in excellent hands. Sandy asks for our vet information and any emergency contacts so that should something happens, she will make sure the cats get the help that they need. We have 2 cats and I always check them in to the "Emperor Suite", a pretty sizable corner room (floor to ceiling) overlooking the front yard. I would recommend making a reservation a few months in advance because every time I'm there, the hotel is usually quite full. Did I mention this place is ridiculously clean? You won't even find a stray cat hair in the common area. p.s. here's a gratuitous pic of my cats (because what is internet without cat pictures, even on yelp)

She spent time during our appointment not only answering questions, but sharing her knowledge and educating me on monitoring Casey's health as she ages. While she's still super active now, seeing my buddy grow older still breaks my heart...Feeling like I've found a vet I can rely on, communicate with, and trust is a huge comfort. Casey not only loves the vet, she loves the groomer! Would definitely recommend them as well. They're always happy to see her, are so gentle and patient with her, and communicate really well with both of us. **Updated review for June 13, 2023: Unfortunately, the vets we came to love have left PAWS. The experience we've had with the newest permanent vet was a bit unsettling and frustrating, but they still have one or two on staff (I believe they're there 2 days a week) that seem to be very kind and gentle. The techs are still wonderful and I'm trying to maintain continuity of care for Casey as she is a senior now, but I'm not sure where this leaves us long-term if I need a vet for another pet down the road.
