Poor management. I had a simple question. The manager was rude and argumentative. Customer service needs improvement.

TURKEY LEG HUT.......Karnak We travelled here for a Friday…read morelunch with our friend, Kim, who has actually been to the Turkey Leg Hut in Houston several times........this trip was for her to try this out and we loved it too. Turkey Legs are Friday through Sunday only......the rest of the week is the other parts of their menu like pizza and burgers and wings and so on. Having never had a Stuffed Turkey Leg before with a sauce on it, J and G both say this was excellent food. "J"got the Crawfish Alfredo Stuffed Turkey Leg and "G" got the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Turkey Leg and our guest Kim got the Shrimp Alfredo Turkey Leg. Now, these are all a meal themselves with the perfect soft Turkey leg on the bottom with a baked potato on top of that then your choice of topping on that like above. All of these were excellent and we loved all 3. We would go back for these or to try the other regular types or the special ones at times they announce on Facebook. This is good food. The service is very friendly....it's a family business and all are nice. The setting is way out in Karnak near Uncertain and the building is painted colorful on the outside like an arcade but they mainly serve food here. It is a good road trip to take.

She brought several small tastings of different beers before we each made a selection; I love when bars do this so you are not wasting your money on a drink you do not care for. This alone gets an extra star for me. LOTS of beer and cider choices on tap. There is a clipboard at each table with 3 pages of drink options. We ordered two different pizzas and both were delicious. One of them we ordered had a cauliflower crust because of some food allergies and it was great! If they can made cauliflower crust that good it puts them ahead of other places, as that is very hard to do and do well. Our bartender did a great job of taking care of us even though we were not sitting at the bar. I returned about a week later with my grandkids; again the pizza was great. Then crust was crispy and light and the topping were generous. The service seemed a little slow but overall we still had a good experience. I recommend this place to anyone who has food allergies but still enjoys a good pizza and a cold beer!

The lunch menu offered a great variety of options, and every meal included a fresh house salad and warm rolls. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, a Stromboli, and grilled chicken with grilled vegetables. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The kids shared a large cheese pizza, and it was outstanding. The crust was perfectly cooked with great flavor, and the pizza was easily large enough for them to share. In fact, every portion was so generous that we asked for to-go boxes as soon as our meals arrived because we knew there was no way we'd finish everything! The service was friendly, the food arrived promptly, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions and excellent value, Roma Italian Bistro is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Jacksonville.

We have zero sense of direction, everything feels vaguely ominous, and we didn't exactly come for a leisurely getaway--we rushed down to Texas because my dad is dealing with a serious medical situation. So the mission is clear: get to my parents' house and help my mom. That's it. Survival mode, but make it family-focused. Then--plot twist--my sister and nephew call. They want to see us and casually mention they'll bring pizza. Now listen... in any other circumstance, I might pause. Ask questions. Do research. Vet the pizza situation like a responsible adult. But in this moment? Free food is free food, and emotionally exhausted people do not ask follow-up questions. So we say yes. And yet, there's hesitation. Because we are in this town. This mysterious, slightly cinematic, possibly haunted-feeling Texas town. And I don't know what a "local pizza place" means here. Are we talking hidden gem? Or regret wrapped in melted cheese? They arrive. Boxes in hand. No turning back now. We open them... and immediately--plot twist #2. It's actually really good. Like, not "oh this will do" good. Not "we're hungry so we'll pretend it's fine" good. No--this is legitimately solid pizza. Fresh, hot, clearly made with real ingredients and actual effort. Cheese, a fully-loaded "works" situation, and one mystery pizza that I didn't fully identify but enthusiastically ate anyway. And I didn't just have a polite slice. I went back. Multiple times. For all of them. They tell us it's a local chain and one of the best in the area, and honestly? I believe them. Whatever low expectations I walked in with were completely unnecessary. End result: pleasantly surprised, slightly humbled, and very well-fed. Would absolutely eat it again--especially under less emotionally chaotic circumstances, but honestly... it held up even under those. That's saying something.
