This Little Caesars in Kannapolis is an absolute mess, and it all comes down to the manager, **Eli**. Hands down the worst manager I've ever dealt with. Completely unprofessional, treats employees like garbage, and clearly has no idea how to properly run a store. He fires people for no real reason and is rarely present, leaving the store barely functioning. When he *is* around, he's rude, dismissive, and talks down to employees like they're disposable. Morale is nonexistent, and it shows in how chaotic the place is. Out of the entire staff, there were only **two workers** who actually knew what they were doing and seemed to care about their jobs. Everyone else was either new, confused, or clearly burned out from how poorly they're treated. A manager should lead, support their team, and keep things running smoothly. Eli does none of that. He creates a toxic work environment that customers can feel the moment they walk in. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other Little Caesars. These employees aren't very friendly. They don't appear to like their job. Things were hectic behind the counter. One employee said that they were going to lock the front door where everyone could hear. The place doesn't appear clean. The floor wasn't clean. They have a 92 sanitation grade. My order came out in a reasonable amount of time. Others around me weren't as lucky. They were looking at everyone's receipt trying to sort things out. Went in just for crazy bread and the man didn't ask if I wanted sauce but even if he did it's the same price because your supposed to give 1 sauce to people. He did not and then proceeded to charge me almost $2 for sauce that is supposed to come with the bread. Your sauce isn't worth that much money and if wasn't for someone else I would have told him to shove it where the sun don't shine cause I'm tired of being ripped off by company's that quite honestly aren't worth it anymore. Your pizza wasn't even worth $5 and now I gotta pay $2 for sauce meanwhile your asking me if I wanna leave a tip for people to do the job they're getting paid to do. I'd like to give it 0 stars. When I arrived in store to pick up my call in no one was to be found inside. I yelled several times to see if someone was inside. I also called no one answered the phone. After a while two female employees arrived walking in from front door. With an attitude they stated they had been in bathroom (from outside the front of store). I asked for a manager card to call . They also didn't wash hands upon beginning to get pizzas out of oven and warmer. One female went to back where from somewhere the manager appeared she said the phone didn't ring and she didn't k ow her employees had walked outside. She was not friendly and also didn't seem to care. The pizza also isn't even the shape or quality it's suppose to be . Very poor customer service. The floors are also very dirty with black dirt and trash all around . It was so unclean I checked the rating on the wall. I will no longer use this little Caesar. They definitely need training on how to run the business. I'm very upset about how the interactions happened today. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could! I placed an online order at 12 PM and the tracker said that it should be ready for pick up between 12:18 PM and 12:23 PM. I only live four minutes away so at 12:44 I decided to go ahead and drive up there, even though the tracker said that it still wasn't done, I get there and go in at 12:48 and they say it'll be another 10 minutes. Now mind you I only had a four piece, pepperoni lunch pizza and the four piece crazy puffs, (it was the crazy puffs that were supposedly going to be another 10 minutes. ) While I'm waiting I realize that they only have a 92 sanitation rating and upon looking around I can see why. The floors in front of the register were filthy, and looks like it hadn't been swept or vacuumed in who knows how long. The floors in the kitchen looked like they had never been mopped. There were three young people working, two young guys, and one young girl. All three of them were in the back dealing with food, and none of them were wearing gloves or hairnets. One of them was snacking on their own food while walking around the back. It had been 20 more minutes from the time that I walk into the store before I finally got my food. So it's now been over an hour since I placed my order just for two small things. Upon opening the box of crazy puffs, I take a bite, and there is no mozzarella sauce inside of them and there is a small black hair on one of them. Then I get over to the box that has my small four piece pizza in it, and it's not cut like at all and it's pretty much cold. So they just had my pizza sitting the entire time I was waiting on the crazy puffs. I have never been so frustrated and disappointed with any restaurant before. I highly recommend that you find a different location and avoid this one at all cost. By the way, I pulled up their sanitation rating and from months back they had all of the same comments on each visit and clearly they still have not fixed any of the issues. But then when the staff was asked about the order, a female on staff responded as if she was being bothered from this question by a paying customer. I've come in many times and no matter who is working or how many people are working, it takes forever for them to greet people and take orders, they are always rude and unfriendly, usually headphones in, and they are extremely slow with no sense of urgency at all. The pizza has always been hot and ready and the people there are nice. Never have I had an issue with sanitation there, and especially not an issue with timing either. People don't give this location the credit it deserves, many love it and just don't say anything. The overall rating isn't a good reflection of the place itself. The only criticism is that the pizza doesn't last more than a couple of days before tasting a little bland, but then again, if you heat it up with an oven, it works well. NEVER HOT AND READY This location is a disgrace to the Little Caesars chain. The only reason I went in there was because I had to get back to work in a hurry and this was the closest and what I thought might be fastest place to get lunch. I ordered the $5 lunch pizza only to be told it would be 15 minutes. What? I was there at 12:05, lunch time and they have NO pizzas ready? What happened to Hot and Ready? Since I was already there and to go elsewhere would have cost me even more time, I waited. A couple of people who came in after me ordered the extra most bestest and got theirs before I did. I watched the cashier take money, mess around the counter, and then went to the back to box up orders without washing her hands. She walked past the handwashing sink at least 3 times and never gave it a glance. I only hope the heat from the pizza killed any germs she had on her hands. You could tell by her interaction with patrons that she is miserable and hates her job. This is not the 1st time I have gone here at lunch time and they have not had any pizzas ready. I thought it might have been a fluke before, but this apparently is the norm for this location. My next call is to the county health department. Maybe they can explain handwashing 101. read more

Was asked by the girl at the counter if I wanted one of their upgraded $6 pizzas to get more cheese and pepperoni than normal, I politely declined as I do not like a lot of pepperoni on my pizza. Next as I go to pay she says, well if you get that one you can get it now, but if you get the regular you'll have to wait we don't have any of those ready now. No, no, no, I already told her no nicely and now she's using this - isn't Little Caesar's hot and ready!? Anywho - next she charges me and gives me my receipt - low and behold, she charged me for the pizza I told her two different times no about. I ask for this to be corrected and at this point am upset because after her pushing so hard I now feel like she thought she'd be slick and I wouldn't notice since I had other items on my order. She mumbles "sorry" with an eye roll and attitude, then proceeds to argue with me when I ask her not to get an attitude with me - come on. Then we have to wait for the other employee to come up, she wasn't anywhere we could see her at first. She comes up and is absolutely baffled as to what to do and asks me well what do you think, I can give you a dollar in cash back because I really don't want to refund and then have to redo the order. I tell her, well you tell me what you can do, I don't work here. It was so odd. Then I do ask for the dollar plus tax - well she can't figure out what to do now so she has to call the manager - apparently no manager there at 5 p.m., great. She asks me if I want free crazy bread instead - I already had one on my order and she said they'd give me an extra - no, I don't need a second, I really just want my $1.07 back. A dollar really isn't much, but it's the principle - if they pulled this with even half the customers that come in it'd add up to a lot. While all of this is going on, magically my regular pizza was ready right away, making me feel like what she was telling me about it not being ready was complete BS. They gave the same line to the lady that was behind me, but saw her walk out minutes later with her food so seems like a shady sales tactic. On top of all this, I check my pizza and it was very under done. I've eaten at several Little Caesars locations over the years and never seen a pizza this under done. When I voiced my concern on this, the second girl chuckles and says well that's how they always look, I don't know what I can do about that other than make you another one that's well done. I don't want well done, I was regular/normal. I just leave - got home and sure enough the pizza is floppy and doughy - so gross. The Italian cheese bread has barely any seasoning on it and is absolutely swimming in the buttery stuff they put on it and to top this off the crazy bread is almost all covered in black junk. While I was waiting on them to figure this out there were flies flying around and landing on the boxes - double yuck! When I asked for the manager's information they refused to give it out saying they couldn't and gave me a # that they thought might be the corporate # but they weren't sure.
