When it was sold I was thrilled the family continued to keep the business going in the similar way Danny did. You can come here for normal gas station needs. A lot of the neighborhood is in walking distance. Drinks, convenient items, lottery cards, etc. They still serve the same menu of food. Lunch : Pizza, chicken wings, potato wedges, etc. My favorite is ordering their breakfast, sausage sets and egg sandwiches. I call them before I am headed their way and they have it ready for me for when I stop in. They have daily specials too. Owners are nice. She is too busy having a full-blown conversation that has nothing to do with her job with her coworker, and just absolutely utterly ignoring my existence. She almost dropped my card because she couldn't pay attention to what she was doing. She almost spilled my tea on me because she couldn't take the two seconds to look at me and stop her conversation. And when I asked her for the dipping sauce that I wanted with my nuggets, she barked at me, quite literally like a damn dog "TWENTY SEVEN CENT". So I repeated myself and she again screamed at me "TWENTY SEVEN CENT!". Which I responded and screamed back " YOURE CHARGING ME FOR SAUCE WITH MY NUGGET MEAL!?" and at this point, she just threw the sauce that I wanted in the bag and basically threw the bag into my car. And icing on the cake y'all THEY WERE BURNT like break your teeth burnt. And the tea SOURED! This wasn't even worth the abuse from your poorly trained staff popeyes.
