My parents and I were on our way east from here and decided to stop here for lunch, as it's along the highway and it seems like a quick fast casual place. We got here around 11:30am, so just after it opened. Their lunch specials have good value, such as being able to combine a main with a small personal sized pizza. I had a handheld classic donair with garlic cheese fingers, which came with a bit of bacon. I've admittedly never had a Halifax donair before, and they offered them here, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm not expecting perfection out of it, but they did a good enough job with the shaved beef. The food did take a long time to come out though despite the restaurant not being busy at all. Aside from the speed of service, everything else was good. Pretty good lunch value for the price we paid. Given the options available along that strip I'd take Pizza Delight over the other chains any day.

After getting off the ferry what you want is to pick up a quick, decent meal and eat it at your hotel before going to sleep. That is not possible when items from your order are missing and you have to inconveniently call to try and get it fixed. How do you miss a whole pizza? The first person we called wasn't helpful at all giving us no option but to come and pick one up. No refund, no delivery. We had to call a second time for a second person to ask what can be done and they sent someone from the kitchen to deliver us our pizza and cutlery. NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT every single other thing that we got was cold... (besides the Mac and cheese that was so hot I burnt my tongue). This place has caused nothing but trouble and we will never take our business here again ever.
