Solid Italian place in Cornerbrook. The restaurant offers a cosy feel and the service was superb. Our server was very knowledgable of the menu and she mentioned their specialty was the Pasta and Pizza. We started in the lounge with a couple of drinks to get the oil in the engine running. Had some garlic sticks with bacon and honey drizzle that was super solid as an app. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Tettrazini pizza which was a nice twist. It looked like a deep dish pizza but was quite tasty and on the lighter side. Portion size was perfect. I'd say this is definitely a great place to choose in CB if Italian is on your mind! read more

Nice atmosphere, nice people.... But! Took 55 minutes to get a simple pepperoni pizza. Then we bit into it and the wait was NOT worth it. The cheese was so burned that it was actually hard to chew. The crust tasted like a mediocre frozen pizza's crust but it was not burned like the cheese, so that tells me they are sort of broiling it because if the cheese was any less done, the crust would've been dough. Lastly, the sauce and overall flavor was bland. I've since learned that this place is notorious for taking 45 min or more to get your food. read more

The service was fine, and there was a cozy atmosphere. The meals may seem a little bit pricey until you receive the food ($15 and up). Noise level was average. All in all, this was a nice place to stop in, on our way back to Nova Scotia. read more

If you are expecting authentic Italian food (cheddar cheese is used as a topping here), this is not the place for you. We found the food tasty, well prepared and served hot. My husband had lasagna; I had pasta marengo. Service was a tad slow, but it is what it is in Cornerbrook. read more

There are only about 3 places to eat well in Corner brook, and this place was definitely my favorite. Great ambiance, nice bar/lounge area with a few screens to watch the game, or full tables with a quieter scene in the other room. Either way the service is very friendly and quick, and the food was really good. Good selection of pizzas, and you have to try the garlic fingers with donair sauce! The lasagna and chicken parm were good too! Actual visit 10/1/13. Lasagna and salad. Lasagna was GOOD! I would be a repeat customer.

Had to wait for the hostess to finish her personal phone call and was then escorted to the worst located table in the house, which was 2/3 empty. Didn't even open the menu. Lost a potential customer for drinks, appies, a main and dessert. We spent 140 at another rest. and left a 20 dollar tip for our most excellent server. I can and do take my money somewhere else down the road, especially if the service starts off like this visit did. Won't be visiting again! read more

We were told by a few locals to try out sorrentos. We sat and enjoyed the mussels to start, followed by the seafood tagliatelle, very enjoyable, we will be back for sure. read more

Wow- really great food, but like so many places in Corner Brook the service is absolutely terrible to just incompetent. Pasta and Pizza and a long slow meal is what this place is about. Definately order a glass of wine, because if you order off the menu it will take a while. Fresh pasta, excellent. Sauces: top notch. Enthusiastic diners all around enjoying. Great ambiance.
