Im even thinking about playing some street hockey on it one day. Theres plenty of grass to run around and they have benches all around the park to sit on and it offers plenty of natural shade from the huge trees. It has swings, a playground with slides, a wheelchair swing, balancing bars, climbing bars. The park has no restrooms but has a drinking fountain, benches, a paved path, pavilion with three picnic tables & a double BBQ grill. The park is shaded by several large Southern Live Oak Trees complete with Spanish Moss with an abundance of both acorns & squirrels. The park was empty, I came with my dog, I would say it is a pet friendly park (no one else was there) because it is enclosed, but is not a dog park. Parking is on a side street near the entrance. This park is directly behind what appears to be The Biloxi Police Station because there was a parking lot chock full of cop cars next door. So in other words, it is safe.

Rangers patrol and can answer questions. Parking is limited. They have not repaired any of the hurricane damages since before things were closed from Covid lockdown. Both good and bad! Front Beach extends for about a mile from the Ocean Springs Pier to the Ocean Springs Yacht Club. The beach is smooth and quite flat with a firm sand and a slow slope that allows you to wade out quite a bit before it even gets up to waist level. Fort Maurepas Park is nearby with a playground and volleyball nets. There is parking there as well as parallel along the beach side of Front Beach Blvd. The beach is clean and free from litter.
