Grabbed a his & hers on the go set up which was a little pricey but the service was helpful and kind that it didn't really matter (ehh, I guess I was having a good day). My holder & glass piece came out to about $45. The priciest part was the case since it was one of the more popular lady friendly brands. Great suggestions by the staff. I don't really use what I bought but maybe I will when I get back into puffin. Selection is fairly slim. Not bad but not the best either. Check it out to see if it's for you. This place carries a typical range of smoking supplies and otherwise. There is glassware from local artists. Prices are pretty normal. I have been satisfied with what I've bought over the course of one year and several visits. The store logo features the outline of a small dog mounting a large dog. The owners, however, are paranoid, and enforce the same behavior on employees. When I used the word "bong" they said I couldn't do that because "it's illegal". They insisted I call it a "tobacco pipe" or something similar. This happened on two visits. On the third I finally said "you can call them anything you like, I call them 'bongs'", whereupon the owner and clerk called the police. As icing on the cake, the clerk gave a description of me that added 50 pounds, subtracted 5" in height, and said I appeared to be drunk. I greeted the police at the door. They were polite. I explained, and pointed at the bongs. The officer said "it's a bong". The owner and employee came out and started carrying on and putting on a scene in front of the officer, who weathered the storm, and then drove off. It was notable that the police officer did not ask for any identification information from me. Perhaps this was not the first incident of this type. I can't find evidence of a law that prohibits uttering the word "bong", but if there was such a law it would not be enforceable because it would violate First Amendment Freedom of Speech rights. Enter at your own risk. Your mileage may vary if you choose to submit. These people need some good legal advice so they can adopt a more customer friendly stance. Either that, or they have something to hide. read more

Prices are good and the employees are friendly, helpful and more than willing to give a discount to repeat customers or even for people who, for all intents and purposes, aren't being asshats. EDIT: While, like the review below, I have run into trouble with the word bong when talking with the owner, I never experienced the kind of stuff he ran into. Although this shop seems to have a lovely selection of glassware and facilities for the use and enjoyment of cannabis, I was mostly interested in patronizing their options for hookah and cannabis. Of the head shops I've frequented in Longmont, this one has proven so far to have the widest selection of shisha to purchase, offering many brands, quantities, and flavors. They offer various selections of hookah charcoals to purchase, both quick-light and natural. An excellent local option to replenishing my shisha cache for a decent price, and insofar as I've patronized the shop, I've had no issues with customer service. Contrariwise, the service has been friendly and helpful to date. read more

I have not found another place that sells the e-cigs that I like, but the Little Dog does! The liquids they have are a bit harsher then others I have used, but over all they are knowledgeable about the products they carry and are happy to show you how to use them. You can tell that they want to be up-to-date with the e-cigs they carry! Good job to you Little Dog! Many choices for high quality grinders in various sizes, colors, and stage numbers. Cozy location, and the cute puppy certainly doesn't hurt! I have been shopping at the little dog for more than 8 years. I have not been to any other shop that compares to their products or service. The owners are very friendly and helpful and always available if you need to talk with them. But you shouldn't need to because the people who work there are very knowledgeable and can answer all your questions. I love that the glass they sell is all local. None of that china crap. And they sell everything you need for your smoking needs and if they happen not to have it, they will do everything they can to get it for you or even make it for you. There are No other shops that compare anywhere near Longmont. There is a place down the street but they are a scam. They sell china pieces of crap and not very nice. The little dog is not even in the same class. So if you want great product and excellent service the little dog is the place to go. I know I would not go any where else. And I've been to every shop from Denver to Greeley and NONE compare. I also just visited their new store in broomfield and it is just as awesome as the Longmont store! Great product and great service! I have recommended this place to all my friends and family and would recommend it to everyone. I've never heard any of my friends or family say anything different.
