The first trip out, everything went well. It was a large bill (for us) ... nearly $2300. We added can-less lights in most rooms; installed wiring for a new wall oven... we were grateful the work well done and the peace of mind only an electrician can give. The second trip, we had the dryer's outlet plug reset i to the wall; added more can-less lights and spoke about phase three, the outdoor lighting. That was February 21; and we received a bill the very next day. I emailed and asked why the can-less lights had different pricing when it is the same light. The explanation was that if it was replacing a light, then wiring was all ready there and it was less expensive than when you have to bring in a junction box; it made sense. Now we are under renovations & a lot of work was being done. We had the wall oven installed and realized the electrician had not installed the breaker. We had all ready paid this bill and couldn't understand why he would leave it that way. We also found an outlet in the pantry closet as well as another in the cabinet behind that were left open and live. There was also another over a cabinet in the kitchen. Our painter was electrocuted and so was I when we were painting in those areas. We called & left a message. No response. We called and left a message asking about the wall oven wiring. No response. We paid the bill, almost $700 (now two and a half weeks after the work was completed; but we didn't think anything of it because we knew we had more work for him). We called again. No response. Now we knew he was willfully ignoring us. We hired someone else; he looked at the invoices we paid & showed us that he charges half the price of what we had been paying. This guy is not reliable, and downright dangerous. He knew he left several areas with live wires and two people were hurt by his negligence. Do yourself a favor, hire someone else.

Background: Needed to have 3 outdoor outlets installed but the wires had no power so I did a look up for electricians in Fleming Island and found QUICK ELECTRIC SERVICE. I prefer to use small, local businesses as much as possible and this family owned and operated company, just down the street from my house was perfect. Razvan and his son Nicholas were right on time, polite and knowledgeable. Called on Friday to set an appt. and they had availability at 1030 on Monday. After some small discussion on what I was intending to use the plugs for e.g. one will be plugged in full time for my Goldfish pond waterfall. They made a recommendation and traced the old wires getting nice outdoor weather proof outlets on their own 15 and 20 Amp circuits installed within an hour or so after a quick trip to Home Depot to make sure what they installed matched everything else. Small example of how I could see how much price they take in their work to go and get matching stuff rather than throw in whatever they had in the van. Once that was finished I asked if they could take a look at my daughter's room because one switched controlled the power to ALL of her wall outlets and the fan. Razvan identified multiple issues and troubleshot everything while Nicholas explained what he was doing and how this or that worked. They went well above and beyond as this ended up requiring a rewire of the switch, a wall outlet AND the entire ceiling fan to get it all working on a new two switch light switch. Based on no follow through of something basic as a phone call, I went against my gut instinct and decided to give them one more chance. They gave me a one hour window of 2pm-3pm on Thursday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. The apologies sounded insincere as if it was something she was repeating all day long to people. She said she could reschedule me for the following Tuesday, but offered no ownership of the issue and no guarantee that the 3rd time would be any different.
