Our first day, when we walked in they said "This must be Ella!"...this was a huge difference from the first day at the other daycare where no one was there to let me in the building. They are accurate with bottle feeding times and amount, diaper changes, and nap times. They send you a daily report about the activities she did and also how these activities help with her development. We also get a photo each day around lunch time! Our son (7mo now) has been going since he was 3mo old and I have peace of mind knowing he's well cared for in the infant room. They don't just put your baby in a bouncer and call it a day. They interact with the babies and give them age appropriate activities to make sure they're hitting their milestones and giving them love and attention. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and even grown a special bond with one of the teachers she's gotten to have in her infant room and her toddler room. It's the sweetest! The toddler room seems so fun for our new 2 year old with lots of arts and crafts and learning activities (she learned how to count to five in what seemed like a week)! They also have a Spanish class every day which I love. The new gym they recently added on is really nice for the kids during gym time- it's just like an elementary size school gym so lots of room for kids to get rid of energy. The building is well kept and they've been doing upgrades as needed- they just got new floors. The staff has always been very kind and helpful! Krista the director has been amazing! When my daughter misses a day, she is anxious to get back to her friends and school family. I actually feel guilty when I keep her home, because I know she will miss a worthwhile lesson. She has been in three different classrooms in 7 months, but only because the administrators insist on placing children in the classroom that best suits their development pace. In her first classroom, her teachers managed to get her about 85% potty-trained within her first week of school. We were amazed. Also, as a neat freak, I love that the school is kept tidy. Putting your child in Day care is such a hard thing, but especially during a pandemic. You rely on the place you choose to do what they say they are going to do, and keep your little one and your family safe. Most Day care facilities, at this time, are not allowing parents into the building. The drop off and pick up are at the door. I loved the fact that I can enter the building and take my daughter to her classroom. I did make sure to ask if all parents must wear masks when they enter, I was assured they did. I trusted the Primrose name and was willing to spend the extra money to ensure my daughter was in good hands during this unusual time. I went in and gave them a $500 deposit and as I was getting signed up, witnessed a parent come in with no mask. (I had only been there 5 minutes at most). The staff did not address it, offer her a mask, or say anything. The parent then proceeded to go back to the classroom, passing other children and staff, including mine. I expressed my concern to the assistant director. She still chose not to address it and didn't say anything when the parent passed us again to leave. This was obviously a normal practice for parents. The next day I called and asked the Director about their practices of enforcing wearing a mask. Her words were "Sometimes parents forget", "We aren't going to hound them", "We aren't in a position to tell them they can't come in without a mask", "We May change our practices if we get a case", "We have established families that we don't want to upset." I just wanted other parents to know as I have done so much research and thought I had found a great place. Very disappointing. I reached out to the owner to please refund my $500 that I had just given them the day before. Obviously this was a justifiable reason not to send my child there. The owner refused, so on top of all this, they took my deposit that they had less than 24 hours.

But not to give other staff members $50 gift cards. But moving on! I started working over at Arbor Village! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT THERE! BIG SHOUT OUT TO PAM AND RACHEL IN THE FRONT! I feel as if No Bullying should be enforced more because my daughter has commented on bullying in the school many times. There is only a bullying assembly once every couple of years and I feel as if there should be at least one a year. My daughter was excited to play in the orchestra last year but 5th graders can't, only sixth grade and up. That should be changed. Other than that, Great school, good education, and good teachers.
