Visited little fiesta on a Monday night for dinner and I was highly impressed. The restaurant was very welcoming and my party of 5 was sat instantly. Upon ordering both food and drinks came out extremely fast and it was delicious. For a drink we had some margarita pitchers and I also had a Jamaica and both were amazing! For dinner I had the arroz con pollo and it was well seasoned and a great portion. There's a QR code on the receipt for payment too so checking out is super easy! My only negative feedback, is I wasn't offered corn tortillas and received flour but that's not a big deal and enough to change the overall review. It doesn't get better than this! We were hungry on the way home from up north and needed a quick bite. Little Fiesta is almost hidden from sight when you drive by, but is so worth the stop. Our service was FAST and the food was plentiful and delicious. Queso with chorizo is always a must, but somehow here it was even better than other restaurants I've been to. Price of a small metal ramekin (3 oz) of queso was $4.99. Cheese was cold, thick, with no flavor. Serving size was so small for price that I thought we were getting a side of queso. When asked server about size and price he stated it was correct. I have eaten here many times in the past and have order the queso and it usually is the size of their salsa bowl. I asked to speak to the manager he confirmed size and price very rudely. Never has he been the most pleasant person. I get price of items have gone up but 4.99 for this is ridiculous. I had the chilaquiles and but down on something very hard. I thought it was a bone so I asked the really young server to let the kitchen know. when he came back he said he was told it wasn't a bone and they didn't know what it was. I went from this was just a little mistake to what foreign substance was in my food. I am glad I stopped eating as soon as I found this "hard thing" in my meal. I come here about once a month. Why? One word. MOLCAJETE! It's a seasoned stew of meats and vegetables served in a large hot stone bowl. They have three versions, and they're all good. You also get a plate of beans, rice, pico, and guac, along with a few tortillas to load up. This entree may seem a little spendy, (13-15) but most people will have significant leftovers. (When I eat it all, I kind of hate myself, haha.) Get a margarita or two, eat some free chips & salsa, and you'll know why I keep coming back. read more

Not bad for the little town of Little Falls, MN. In fact, not bad for Northern/Central MN. We stopped by here on our way back from the Twin Cities. Pleasantly surprised to find a Mexican restaurant around here. Unlike other reviewers noted - the place was deserted. To be fair, it was a Monday evening though. The fare is typical upper mid-western Mexican, that we have come to expect from most places in this part of the country. The wait staff was very friendly, and chatty. Use caution when ordering the "extra hot/spicy" stuff. It is pretty hot. The hot sauce (crushed) red peppers can be pretty potent too! Menu needs a little more variety to earn a 5 star rating from me. Definitely, will visit again, and try the other stuff on their menu. read more

We stopped here on our way up north on a Friday night. I was craving Mexican food but didn't want fast food so this seemed like a good option. It was okay. I actually liked the salsa that came with the chips, it had some heat. The rest of the food came out hot and fast, which is good when you want to get back on the road. Overall, it was pretty mediocre. It was relatively bland and quite greasy. My husband tipped his plate of enchiladas and a pool of grease formed on the side very quickly. My dish wasn't as greasy as his though. I wouldn't say anything tasted "bad" but it didn't taste "good" either. Service was prompt, but very hurried. I wouldn't call it friendly but I wouldn't call it rude. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. read more

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon following a bike ride. The restaurant was clean, with attention to mask wearing and extra sanitation with Covid. I really feel like this place has gone down hill since my husband and I first started coming here, 3 or 4 years ago. There used to be a lady server & you could tell she didn't speak great English but she'd at least try & she'd try to be so hospitable. Now it's just young guys & they don't even talk unless they're taking your order. Really gives it the feeling they don't even care. Food always comes very fast & I've never had any complaints there. I've never had problems with something not being done or hot enough, but the couple in the next table over sure did and these guys did not even know how to handle it. However it's not super flavorful & the portions keep getting smaller. If I wanted to eat bland food I would head to a bar for some neutral colored fried food. I chose Mexican because I LOVE good Mexican food. It's worth the drive to St. Cloud for better food & some actual service. If little falls is your only choice, give it a try, maybe you'll have better luck than me! read more

Not good. So many plates that are not authentic at all. Taste is microwave food at best. Chillaquiles made of the same chips you get in the beginning, not tortillas like it should be. Shrimp (camarones) a la diabla are not good. Sauce taste like canned tomato sauce w a poor effort for spice. Best thing about here is the free water and beer. We were there on a Wednesday night, and the place was busy. We soon learned why. First of all, the prices are very reasonable. Second, the food is quite good. The chips were fresh tasting, and the salsa tasted homemade. The menu is simple Tex-Mex but very fresh and well-presented. What impressed me most was that the food that I had was correctly seasoned, without too much reliance on salt or garlic for savor or excessive chile powder for heat. Margaritas were good, too. The restaurant is fairly basic in decor, and is larger than it appears from the outside. It is apparent that this restaurant is having some success with their current menu, but it is a little basic, and that is why I gave only four stars instead of five. It would be great to see some tamale and tamale-type items. Also, a couple of mole items are really needed to round out the menu. Keep in mind that there are several ridiculously inexpensive lunch combos. This is EASILY the best ethnic food in the Little Falls area. If I lived there, I'd be eating there frequently; there just isn't much else. read more

Despite what you may here this is about as far from real Mexican food as Little Falls is from the border. Like most other Minnesota Mexican eateries they offer free chips and salsa, huge portions, reasonable prices, and the same few ingredients in about 100 combinations (meat, cheese, tortilla, and sauce.) Overall the food was ok but only be called "authentic" when comparing it to Taco Bell. I might stop back if I was in the area as there are not all of choices other than bars, diners, and burgers. read more

I've eaten here 7-8 times now and love the food. It is reasonably priced, and yes, midwestern tex-mex, but hey, that's why we come. I do hope this restaurant continues to do well, because it's one of the best in town. Staff is friendly and the food has always come quickly. Truly the worst dining experience I have had in a while. I drive up to a restaurant that had zero cars in the parking lot and the beer signs in the window some were on some weren't. I walk in and I am greeted by a friendly young man who doesn't speak English as his first language which is fine because I am going to the bar to eat anyway. Well I walk into the bar and there isn't a bartender all the TV in the bar are not on and it's quiet. The young friendly man walks up and asks me what I want to drink. Ordered a corona and the queso fries. I get my beer an discover that the host is also the bartender and is also the server for the entire restaurant! wHAT? So he comes back a few minutes later and I order some enchiladas. The food was great but the fact that it all came at the same time was not ok. I felt like I was at a coffee shop to my sever bartender host credit he did check back and ask if everything tastes ok - which it did but sitting in a quiet bar (I have found a remote control ! ) so I turn the televisions on for the other patrons who are wandering in. I can't believe anyone ever comes here to eat as the place is clearly staffed with fast food employees who know nothing about serving guests in their restaurant. I went to Little Fiesta for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had a great meal. We were really excited that a Mexican restaurant had opened up in LF and our first meal there was great. I can't eat pizza at Charlie's anymore because I can't eat wheat, so this is my new favorite casual restaurant in town. The salsa and chips were really good and the menu was huge. The one piece of advice I have though is to order something other than the tacos.
