Parking was great on Saturday but if you need to get there via public transportation, take or transfer to the B65; it leaves you right on the block on Franklin and Bergen. It's on Dean street between Franklin and Classon. The block scenery looks blah; looks more industrial than other blocks (which looks more residential). But the area has gotten better and there are nice eateries that have popped up in the last few years so it's not completely dreadful. The class that I've taken was a first time homeowner class which was definitely helpful and informative. It's 75 dollars (plus one dollar for a convenience charge) but it was worth it. I think some folks take the class assuming they know alot about buying a home or listening to family/friends. I know I did. But when I took the class, I realized how misinformed I was. I don't even think the class was enough to give all the information we needed so they provided LOTS of written material for us to take home. Like I said, taking the class is the first step but it doesn't end there. I am definitely going to utilize their services. Calling them might be a bit unsuccessful but if you do leave messages, they return your calls. Emailing might be alittle better.

I went there on a Saturday and it was the same quiet, peaceful place it's always been. You can get so much work (or studying) done there, especially with the free and speedy wifi. They have comfortable chairs, outlets for your electronics, and clean bathrooms. They also have a separate children's room. And the view is nice also, and it's completely free! This is the kind of place I'd give a big donation to if I were in the position to do so, but they do have a donation jar, which I will make sure to add to next time.

We would slip and slide all over the place running around the old gym. It was dangerous. Everything is very clean and organized. Haven't ventured around yet since I cut it close making it on time for games. But definitely a great, new facility!

I used to come here as a kid and this place is so nostalgic. My dad came here in the late 80s when he first came to NYC from Puerto Rico. I used to play with my cousins here in the late 90's and this place is still a blast. I loved the rooftop area with the nest play structure. The staff was super nice and I would return. Just be aware of crowds. I highly recommend the color lab!
