There are only a couple of options for daycare of 3- 12 month old infants in the Sunny Isles Beach/Aventura/Hallandale Beach area -- this is the one I selected. Warning - From the outside it is NOT impressive at all. But inside, you will find caring staff who keep everything in order. My experience has been that the children are happy and well behaved and always seem to be engaged in a learning activity. The staff regularly takes all children to the outdoors play areas as well, which is very important. My pediatrician commented on how rarely she sees my daughter considering she is enrolled in daycare (they usually have some bug all the time) So that to me says a lot right there. My youngest daughter has been attending since she was 3 months old; she is now 19 months old and I will be transferring her to Nana's because she is ready for a pre-school environment as opposed to a daycare. Nana's will not accept children younger than 18 months - so if you need something before then, ELITA is the place to go. They have an open door policy; you can go anytime. They don't accept credit or debit cards, but this daycare is very affordable. A bonus: food and formula are included so all you need to bring are diapers and wipes. Hours are great for working moms too: 7 am - 6 pm. I didn't give it 5 stars because they definitely need a larger and renovated, more modern facility.

How do I know this you may ask? I had a second child attending this place who often would walk into the different rooms and see this behavior from mostly all the teachers except a select few. Or if they're not on a social networking site I can guarantee they are talking crap about your child. Most important of all they act a certain way with you and another with your child especially if he or she has special needs. My child who attended has special needs but they could care less he was treated badly and with no respect for his condition whatsoever. Also, let me tell you this place has a serious case of cross-contamination. They let your child's water/milk bottle touch other children's mouths. They also treat you very fake with the biggest smile and everything and your child is over on the corner crying and hurt at least that is what happened in my situation. I must say...I was impressed. Maria at the front desk was so nice, professional, and took her time giving me a tour of the school and explaining everything. I didn't feel rushed or didn't get the vibe that person didn't want to be there. The kids looked so happy! The facility was impeccable. It smelled great and all the teachers were interacting with the kids. I will be enrolling my little one in the next couple of days! The down part of it is that it's in PSN and traffic is insane in this area but I really don't care. I am willing to sit in that traffic and be at peace knowing my baby is in good hands! I'm excited!
