But grandmas back now so he doesn't need to go to daycare. I stink at remembering names but his teachers were very informative kind and just down right amazing. They updated me throughout the day with photos and diaper notifications. I'm new to the mom world so I was constantly asking them silly questions in the beginning and after a couple of days they made me feel comfortable that my son was in their care. Sure kindercare is a large company but I didn't care about that. I care about whether my son will be in good hands or not and after many interviews with different daycare it was obvious to not go with this location. If you can afford it I would definitely recommend enrolling your child here. They have several different classes for children with many teachers there to care for your child. I've met questionable teachers in the past and NO ONE here made me feel that way. Being a new mom I learned quite a bit from the short period of time I've been here. The director of the daycare, Miguel Garcia, is beyond unprofessional. Besides that, the center…read moreposes massive safety concerns for the kids. The teachers are great, though. I have nothing bad to say about them. The issues began from the start when I asked Miguel to send me instructions on what to bring and prepare to start daycare. I'm a FTM and I had some questions. After multiple emails and phone calls, Miguel finally sent me a list, which left me scrambling to buy extra things at the last minute. I was concerned about poor communication, but I let it go, hoping it won't be a problem. Then, the bigger issue emerged - children's safety in the daycare. When I was creating an account, I had to create passwords for each person who may pick up our child. I thought that there would be a unique code for each to enter the facility. For the first three days, I just walked in with other parents, which is a concern itself. Anyone can get in the building with no issues. On day four, there was no one to follow, so I tried the password I selected while registering, but it didn't work. I had to call, Ms Jess opened and gave me the code. This code is used by EVERYONE! It means that any person can learn it easily and access the facility, which is a massive security concern. But bear with me; there is more. On Thursday of the second week of daycare, I noticed my daughter had fluid buildup in the crown of her head. I took her to the ER immediately and notified the daycare. In the ER, everyone has been repetitively asking me if she hit her head. I knew she did not hit her head when she was with me (my husband was traveling at that time), but I didn't know anything else. My husband called the daycare, which is a normal thing to do. Miguel instantly said, "Nothing happened." My husband asked to check with teachers just to make sure. Miguel did and confirmed that nothing happened. We relayed this information to the ER team. The CT scan was performed, and no structural damage was found. The ER doctor said that there was no damage, and he didn't know what it was, but there was nothing to be concerned about. The pediatrician whom I took my daughter to right after ED suspected that it could be a rare case of delayed fluid collection after a traumatic birth, which was the case. Miguel called in the evening, and I told him that there was no injury, but the doctors were not sure what it was. I said that our daughter is doing well. Then at 10:30 pm Child Protective Services showed up. To make a long story short, Miguel called and reported child abuse, even knowing that there was no trauma. CPS was surprised because a hospital was obligated to report instances like this, but they never did because there was no trauma. I'm not going to tell you how humiliating and stressful it is. I'm glad our daughter is too little to understand what's going on. Luckily, everyone from CPS we've been dealing with has been extremely pleasant. Miguel not only lied to them when he stated that my husband called angry, accusing a daycare, but he also said that he doesn't have our phone numbers. How don't you have the phone numbers of the parents of a child under your care? My husband has been understanding, saying that Miguel had to cover himself in case something happened to our child. He asked Miguel why he didn't give us at least a heads-up so we knew what to expect. Two days after that, Miguel sent us a message through the app stating that he had to do it. Otherwise, his teacher and he could be fired, and the center could be closed. I leave this information here for everyone to come to their own conclusions. Additional concerns. On the first day at the daycare, Infant rooms A and B were merged after 2:30 p.m. when the Room A teachers left after their shift was over. I found out about this practice after the fact when I came to pick up my daughter. She was in the room with a lot of children and only a few teachers. She cried a lot and looked terrible. The center should disclose this practice in advance. Additionally, I'm concerned that the ratio was not as required. Infants sleep in the same room they play in, which means that the noise and lights are on. My child had a difficult time sleeping in this environment, which the teachers pointed out to me. I saw a child sleeping on the floor a few times during our short time in the daycare. Another thing I didn't realize is that infants don't go outside ever until they're over 12 months. It is not healthy for a child to stay indoors all day long.

Development: While they follow a sound curriculum, they really meet my kids where they are. I have worked collaboratively with their teachers on milestones that were different timing for my kids vs. others (potty training, social skills, etc.) and they are great partners in harnessing my children's strengths and helping them achieve their development goals. 4. Long Review Alert! I had high expectations from this Daycare…read morewhen i did the tour and read all the great reviews, but I was highly disappointed. We picked this daycare even though it was farther away from our home. To give some background, My daughter was 18 months when we enrolled her in this school. She was in another daycare since she was 7 months and the only reason we had to switch was because we moved to Edison. We loved her previous daycare. 1) At little treasures my daughter took so long to adjust. Every morning she wouldn't want to go there and was so clingy in the evening when she returned home. She was in Penguins classroom. 2) I felt the overall atmosphere in LT was not warm and non-welcoming.We had to drop her at around 7:45am when none of her class teachers were there. So she had to be dropped off in another classroom with another teacher who was least concerned about her. She wouldn't bother to say Hi to us or our daughter or welcome her any way. Some days she would completely ignore us . Drop offs were very unpleasant. When we raised our concern to the director, she said someone was going to take a look.Of course that never happened. I don't know how they do Quality control for such issues. 3) Timings of the regular teachers were such that we could never catch them if we were dropping and picking up outside 9-6pm window. During those hours it was only the part time teachers who had no clue if you ask them any question about your child. It created such a disconnect for us with her class teachers. So only way to communicate was to call them all the time for any major/minor question. Because otherwise we never met them in person. LT could provide better coverage for parents who because of their work schedule don't get to meet the main teachers. 4)A few times when I did a late drop off so i can meet her teachers (and reach my work late as well), I noticed that my daughter didn't wanted to go to her lead teacher who has been with her for couple of months. With Little kids It is very simple to tell who they like and who they don't. I don't think there was any attempt made to bond with my daughter. 5) Daily reports were hand scribbled with very minimum information of what the child ate during meal time. If I can find, I will post a picture of one of the reports. Imagine first we don't get to meet her teachers regularly and the only way we are relying to get some info is via the daily reports which were nearly useless. Once I requested her teacher to write more descriptive report including if she had milk (incase she did not eat food). I was told that for kids of her age (18 months), focus should be more on the food then milk so they never gave us that info. 6) LT is extremely structured that makes the teachers here more concerned about following the schedule and intense curriculum. The last meal/snack time was 3:30pm, and by the time i arrived my daughter would be so hungry and screaming for Milk. Nothing is offered to the child after the last meal because that is not in the schedule. It seems like the teachers are overworked. The type of words that she learned quickly and repeated at home speaks a lot- 'Stop It' 'Go Sit Down' 'Listen to me' 7)Also they would take the kids outside even in cold weather and told us to send appropriate clothing to bundle up or keep the child home if you don't want them to go outside. I don't understand How would the teachers keep the child bundled up who keeps taking off her hat or shoes or mittens even when outside. Overall I feel my child never bonded well with her teachers during the 5 months. Nobody really cared if she didn't come to the school one of the days or it was her last day at the school. Little kids need just a bit more love when they are away from their parents to help them cope emotionally. It was this thing which was really missing at LT. I am not sure about other classrooms or other teachers but our experience with this specific class was not great. The only positive side was state of art facility which is kept very clean and a structured curriculum . I wish I had decided against it so that my daughter wouldn't have gone through another change in 5 months. I wouldn't recommend this center to any of my friends.

My son was in the mobile infant room. First, at the open house, there was no communication about the children's daily schedule, and the overall presentation was unprofessional. The teachers read off a paper and gave us no instructions on drop-off/pick-up routines. Almost daily, my son's lunch dishes were scattered throughout his bags, lost, or we took home another child's materials. We packed lunch and snacks daily. However, my son was continuously fed snacks from the school without my permission, and when I would bring it up I was assured they were not. But at pick up, they would tell me he enjoyed the school snack today. The staff in the room was unprofessional. They were using the iPad for personal searches, the pictures they sent home were blurry or did not always include our child, and they were not warm and friendly to us. The app was never accurate, and we were rarely updated on the amount of food he was eating. If this was brought up, we were told the app was down. But then magically fixed moments later. The communication between the teachers was awful. Their tone towards us and our son was rude, condescending, and it often felt like they did not like him. Because of these attitudes, we did not report the small issues for fear of retaliation against our son. Unfortunately, these are only the small issues, but towards the end, there were issues of neglect. In my son's last week at Lightbridge, he was sent home twice with a diaper that was clearly not changed in a long time. Each time it was about 4 hours in between. They would change him, give him lunch, put him down for a nap, and wait an hour or so after he woke up to change him again. On his last day, he had such a bad rash that he was struggling to walk. Not a single teacher in the room noticed. It is hard to tell if they don't care or are disorganized. However, changing a baby after a nap is common sense. When we called to complain (for the sake of other children), Olive gave us a run-of-the-mill response with no remorse. We highly recommend that you do not send your child here.

He had to wear a cast on his leg and belly for two months, he couldn't walk, he couldn't sleep well, he got extremely constipated due to lack of movement and one leg is now shorter than the other one.
