We heard their fights clearly both nights and have determined they need counseling and could offer our opinion if asked, yes we heard enough of the details. It really is set up to be like a retreat and conference center, so the name isn't just for show - you can tell that they've really thought about how to make spaces that work for those types of events/ situations. For example, there are plenty of different meeting and conference rooms, and they have a FULL gym, not just a treadmill and some weights like many other places. See the pics for what I mean! They also have a cool lounge area, complete with an open fireplace in the center of the room. Both my mom and I thought how cool it would be to be sitting around there in the fall. Speaking of the locker rooms: they're also very nice! Definitely well-kept. The views from the hotel rooms are also STUNNING (and I do believe all the rooms are on the same side of the building, so all have the same view). The pictures unfortunately don't do this part justice. Because it's truly out in the middle of nowhere (only about 15mins from the main part of town though), there's just pretty land for as far as you can see. The rooms are pretty standard: two queen beds, a fridge, keurig with a few options, bathroom with shower, and closet. No microwave in the rooms, but there was one downstairs where they had the ice and coffee. I appreciated that they had more than one type of flavored creamer (powdered). I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I got some because they had amaretto flavor, and it was good!!! At first because the drive there was so quiet and empty, we were a little unsure about what we'd gotten into, but as you can see it ended up being a great place to stay! The girl behind the desk was the same one on the phone and again, she was everything I would hope for in a friendly face to greet me as a guest at a hotel. I'm not even a rewards member with this chain but I felt like I'd been staying with them my whole life. She checked us in and gave us a quick briefing on WiFi and breakfast. Our rooms couldn't have been more perfect. Spacious!!! We had a king in one room and two queens in the other. I love the updated neutral decor. Probably my favorite thing was the anti-fog mirrors in the bathroom. Soooo cool!! Even better was the ambient lighting around the frame of the mirror so you're not blinded by the ceiling light in the middle of the night. The beds were very comfortable. My husband doesn't like to sleep in any bed but his own and even he liked these beds and pillows. We all slept great! I would definitely stay here again. I would actually go out of my way to stay here again. Especially compared to Winstar or Choctaw. But we actually enjoyed a change of pace and different atmosphere than the mega casinos. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The casino, restrooms, and beverage area were CLEAN! There were also a few slot machines that you can't find at the other big casinos. And while smoking is allowed, it was not overwhelming like at other casinos. We only had a short amount of time to spend at the West Bay Casino, but one day we will book a room or maybe one of the cabins which looked really nice and spend a weekend here. The pool and outdoor patio area looked very nice as well and the view of Lake Texoma is great. Don't pass up this little hidden gem!
