We rented two spots and they were side by side, which was a plus for the grandkids. Even though the weekend was rainy for more than 50% of the time, the kids still enjoyed it. My 6 yo grand-daughter loved the two slides down into the lake. We prefer RV sites at Lake Murray but would stay here again if no spots are available there. Truly the only downfall is that it backs up to I-35 and you have the highway noise. Otherwise it was a good, safe place for kids and dogs. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The cabins are clean and cozy. You have everything you need right on the lake. The showers could be a little bigger but the screened front porch makes up for it. My dog love the beach style lake front to walk along and take an afternoon swim. Took the paddle board and went out on the lake. There was quiet coves nearby. The docks are really convenient if you have a boat. Very clean and has fish cleaning stations, plus they have pontoon boats to rent. Friday afternoon there was no one at the inflatable obstacle course so I had it all to myself.

Cabins are spacious, lovely pine wood trim, pine dresser, flat screen TV with Netflix and other channels, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, nice large bathroom with oil rubbed bronzed faucets; rooms are relaxing with neutral colors. The grill pavilion is beautiful; has 2 gas grills with grilling utilities and food seasonings (if need), patio furniture with bar stools around, a picnic table, Bluetooth stereo to pair your phone and listen to music while you cook or just relax. Has a horseshoe pit (Jenga and perhaps some card games would be great), has nice fire pit next to the grill pavilion overlooking the pond below, has trails to hike; just a beautiful place and we along with friends didn't want it to end. We highly recommend visiting The Woods on your visit to Lake Texoma, relax, make friends and enjoy yourself.

I'm glad we did because we had a lot of fun at the West Bay Casino! Please note that this review is for the casino only. We did not stay at the resort (yet!). Yes, the casino is small. Especially compared to Winstar or Choctaw. But we actually enjoyed a change of pace and different atmosphere than the mega casinos. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The casino, restrooms, and beverage area were CLEAN! There were also a few slot machines that you can't find at the other big casinos. And while smoking is allowed, it was not overwhelming like at other casinos. We only had a short amount of time to spend at the West Bay Casino, but one day we will book a room or maybe one of the cabins which looked really nice and spend a weekend here. The pool and outdoor patio area looked very nice as well and the view of Lake Texoma is great. Don't pass up this little hidden gem!

I had the strangest thing happen this evening at West Bay casino. I actually WON! I was playing minimum bets of .50 - .75 and hit THREE jackpots on different machines ranging fom $55 to $247 and quit while I was ahead and walked out with $450 more than I went in with. It still seems unreal considering how badly I loose visit after visit at Choctaw casino. Thank You West Bay! I live in Durant and you have definatey earned my business.
