It felt like we had a whole house to ourselves. Had we not been so exhausted from traveling all day, we would not have wanted to go to sleep because the views of the night sky and Moscow town lights in the valley below are so breathtaking. We did sleep though, and soundly - there was no city noise to distract us. Also the owners were great hosts and were very knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations for day drives and hikes. I would recommend this place to all travelers wanting to experience the beauty of Idaho.

And to add insult to injury the pnuematic chair will not stay adjusted to desk height so when you sit in it it slowling goes down. 3-Carpets. Looks dirty and with stains. 4-The refrigerator is in an open cabinet with a microwave on top. I have no idea with the amount of dust but it is nasty looking. For 170.00 I was not expecting the Hilton but I was expecting a nice room that after a 13 hour drive I could lay back and relax. Not the case, sad to say. If I was not so exhausted from my drive and if it was not 9:30 at night I would have gone down to the office to ask my reservation be cancelled and my card credited. But I was just to exhausted like I said after a 13 hour drive.

The staff was friendly. There were no weird smells in the hallways or ancient elevator. The floorplan is odd and the walls are thin, at one point it sounded like someone was attempting to enter our room through the ceiling. There is a railroad 8' from the rear of the building that our room directly overlooked, thankfully it doesn't run on weekends. The little coffee pot was inches away from the toddler sized toilet with a seat that was barely hanging on and could only be flushed once a day. When I closed the shower curtain there was a used washcloth hanging between the rings, I put that on the floor for housekeeping. The bed was super comfy and springy like the ones in grandmas spare room, so we got really good sleep. I will definitely spend the extra $$$ for a quality hotel and read the reviews first from now on.

This seems like one of the nicer options that's available. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Hampton inn. The rooms are nice. The staff was friendly and professional. There is an indoor pool as well. I didn't use it, but it's there. There is also a gym. The hotel has a restaurant, it's Washington State University themed if that matters to you. They also offer breakfast. They also have the snack pantry at the front of the hotel that offers highly overpriced items, but it's there and it's convenient. They also do something where they have milk and cookies for free in the lobby at night, don't quote me on the exact times. Overall, in Pullman your options are limited, and this is a good option from my perspective.

Nice shops and restaurants all around that you can stroll to. Free parking. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer in room. We felt very safe for walking in the area at night. Lots of food choices nearby. After a sleep we determined that the bed comfort was good to ok. Pretty solid and firm mattresses with white sheets and a thin blanket. Good temp control in room. Not too hot but not cold. Best part was check in and check out via text is amazingly convenient. Cons: paper thin walls, so we can hear noise from other rooms. Plus the noisy traffic on Jefferson Street is very loud since it's a very, very busy street basically all day and night. Noted at 11pm there is still constant traffic swishing by. Super Thin windows with tissue paper thin blinds so there is absolutely no noise buffering. Could also hear music beats vibrating through walls. Sorry your ear plugs do not protect from music vibrations since there is no definitive sound but still can feel the beat while not hearing lyrics. I'm a heavy sleeper but woken up by this noise after several hours sleeping is too much! Then in the morning around 5:30 AM, the noise started through the walls again with the neighbor's bedside clock alarm going off . The in-room provided alarm clocks suck...as ours unexpectedly went off by 6am as well!!!!!! Plus we could hear the neighbor's voices through the walls word for word in the morning. An additional improvement suggestion that I think is very important for personal safety: the owners should install a deadbolt in addition to a single swing bar lock at the top of the door that they currently offer. Since this motel does remote check in via text their door locks are pin coded. It is very unsettling to think how little security the physical doors offer with a single swing lock inside. I would've felt much more secure inside the room if they also had a manual deadbolt above the door knob. Noted, this accommodation was much less expensive than other places in the area that were double what we paid here. Still we paid well over $200 on a Friday night. This is bottom tier lodging for sure but a trade off in saving money while being in an excellent location. Thankfully the streets in this area appear safe. Location is excellent for convenience but maybe not rest. Beware.

All rooms are accessed inside through the lobby. The lobby opens into a seating area and everything appears clean and well managed. Just beyond the lobby is an enclosed indoor pool. We could smell the chlorine as we walked in the front doors. Check in was very easy and the employees were all very friendly. Our room was on the second floor, and it was easy to access via the staircase or the elevators. We booked a king room. The room had a lot of floor space next to the bed near the window. The room came with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Everything appeared to be surface clean. The bed was very comfortable and also was visibly clean. They provided five very nice pillows on the king bed. The temperature in the room was perfect for a comfortable night sleep. The bathroom was sufficient. I like that they provided Dove toiletries. I would say that the rooms are pretty quiet as the hotel is set pretty far back from the street and there is a hill behind the property so you really won't hear any outside noise. Our room had a locked adjoining door to our neighbors and we could loudly hear their TV and their voices a bit later into the evening than we would've liked. Once they went to bed we had a very quiet night sleep. I found this super annoying but normal for hotels. Breakfast in the morning was a very simple spread. Fortunately, they provided hot options like eggs and sausage and they had a single waffle maker, which was very very popular. For the price of the room and the included breakfast, I would definitely stay at this location again . This was a very good value.

Everything seemed very clean and the beds were comfortable, offering a ton of different pillows We did have a view of a dumpster which wasn't great but it also didn't matter because we just literally needed to be at the hotel to sleep and then go about our days. They respected our "do not disturb" sign and let us check out one hour later One thing we do not like is soft water and it was very soft so of course that makes you feel like you can never get the soap entirely off your body. But then for a few hours it was randomly hard water but then returned to soft water. So I'm not sure what was going on It was great for the price that we paid

My father was refused services by the Hillcrest Motel. After a hard day's work, my father walked into the Hillcrest Motel and inquired about a room. He was asked why he was in town, and he told the receptionist that he was there for his job (he makes ends meet for his family by cooking food at festivals and fairs--and he is serving food at the Moscow fair this week). Inexplicably, when the Hillcrest's employees learned that he was working at the fair, they turned him away. They told him that they would not rent a room to him. That is unacceptable. I grew up watching my dad work endless hours to provide for us. To hear that he was refused a warm bed, far from home, because of what he does for a living--is antithetical to everything I believe in. Indeed, it's treatment like this that inspired me to become a lawyer. Discriminating against someone based on who they are--whether that be their skin color, their gender, their age, or yes, their job--is deplorable. It runs counter to the most fundamental notions of equality. And that a company would turn away a man, a father, a husband--because of what he does to provide for his family--should give us pause. I can only hope that the management here will seriously consider what it means to discriminate against folks and whether that is truly how they want to treat their customers.

We had to park on the street because their lot waa full, but plenty of parking on the street right in front. Safe neighborhood, with residential houses in back. They delivered a newspaper to our doorstep every morning. Provided recommendations of places to eat, things to see. Loaned us a folding table to put our grill on. Nothing short of first class service. We cannot wait to come back and intend to do so on a regular basis. Highly recommend this facility!!!
