My first time on the wheel. So much fun.

We spent a few days at Little House Big Art and had the most fantastic time. The variety of materials is unprecedented. As ex-craft supply collectors we were thrilled to have the opportunity to create so many things without having to store all of the supplies ourselves. Elizabeth is a kind and patient host and instructor. I can't say enough about this experience. What a way to spend a weekend with a great friend and meet a new one.

What a great little gem, hidden up in Spring Hill. Make a terrarium, rainbow bracelet, throw some pottery -- this place has it all for arts and crafts. Wonderful for kiddos and parents alike. Would give it 5 stars, but for the somewhat remote location. :)

Attended a student art show last night with a friend who teaches a class at PCA. There were so fantastic pieces created by the adult students. In addition of course there were other exhibits that we were able to tour. When I was in art school this was a place we visited often. Time to get back in the swing of things. The gift shop is still fantastic and filled with lots of unique items.

After brunch at Square cafe we needed to take a little walk and absorb some rays. It is a very serene setting and once they get the fountain running I may just come to sit and ponder. The building is so big and they offer many summer art classes so check out the website to see what they have. Events are held here all summer, mostly weddings. I went in to see the printmaking lab, I mostly do screenprinting but they don't have the light tables or screens here. The receptionist was so helpful and said that there would be printmaking classes over the summer and to call one of the directors to see what they might be able to do for me in regards to the type of medium I want to work with. If you need a place to do intaglio or relief printing they have a great space to print!

There was a nice assortment of things to choose from including fingerless gloves and beautiful pottery mugs. They told me if I want to see more then head into the store. I did just that and got to meet up with the owner Eva and learn more about the business. Various artists from all over the country contribute their wares to this shop and some are even local. You can find most anything here from crafted "aliens" to wooden Nativity sets to various types of jewelry, glass, pottery and of course beautiful paintings that adorn the walls. Even Eva herself has some of her own works for sale here. There is so much to look at. She also told me some of the artists do charitable work and you can purchase things such as "cuff" bracelets that will signify the artist who created the piece. The drink mugs were beautiful and some of them had Bible verses on them. I was admiring a green one with a flower on the handle and then I learned that she hoped to get more selection in from this seller within the next week or so. I decided to hold off on my purchase until I saw what was coming in. Some of the merchandise can be pricey but it all depends up the work that is put into them. For example an artist, she was selling had hand drawn images of a few of Pittsburgh's landmarks as a cuff bracelet. It's a bit pricey but she told me all the labor that goes into making the design can be time consuming. They offer workshops and events from time to time. Most of the art is contemporary style with at least 20 different artists in emerging to mid career levels. Check out their on line shop if you want to learn more or make a purchase directly from your home. This shop is currently open Thurs-Sun only and of course you can walk in when the farmer's market is going on. Am definitely planning to return here so I can browse more of the collection. Situated on Main St near the Carnegie Coffee company, metered street parking is available across the street.

I've been a patient for about three years and it's impossible to find who to talk to, or more importantly, to EVER receive a return phone call. I've complained for the entire time. It is now July 2026 and they have not figured out my bill. First, it was not billed to my insurance. It took 3 calls to get them to submit to the correct insurance. My insurance confirmed that consultations are covered at 100% BTW. Then, months later I receive a bill saying my insurance paid the previous amount, but now it doubled and I still owe the same amount. I then called 6 times over the next month and a half and was told each time that their system was down and they could not view my bill. Finally received a voicemail (a drop in voicemail mind you - you know the ones where their system drops you a voicemail without even calling you so that you then have to call them back again!!!!!!!). I call back again today and was informed they are unsure why I am showing a double charge and it now needs escalated. I would love to have this taken care of before 2027. The amount of time I have spent dealing with this is absurd.
