I learned more about anvils than I would have ever dreamed. I also learned more about railroad spikes and Craig's medical history than I could have ever dreamed. They had a "kink and draw" event going on simultaneously while we were there. It was nice of them to give us the space to vibe and do our thing. I noticed there was even a kitchen area in the back. Bathrooms were kind of down-on-their-luck but serviceable. Parking around here is atrocious though, especially during peak hours like a Friday night, fair warning if you intend to drive here.

After choosing what paint colors we wanted, we put on protective gear, picked out our high energy playlist, watched a safety video, and went into the black-light-illuminated room. We got a bunch of paint and fun things like paint filled ballons and paint guns to splatter. We had such a BLAST throwing paint on our canvases (and ourselves)! It was such a unique and creative experience and I highly recommend it. And if you're worried about getting your painting home in one piece, no need to worry because they provide painting sized boxes for easy transportation! Some tips from me to make your experience easier: 1) There are protective glasses and face shields available. I recommend wearing contacts and then going for the glasses. 2) There's protective cases for your phone so you can bring it in and not get paint all over it which I recommend doing! At some point I sent my phone down and just recorded us for 10+ minutes and it was so funny. 3) While do you have disposable protective gear on, be warned that any excessive amounts of paint will eventually seep though (I opted to wear just socks inside the suit and the bottom of my socks had paint all over them at the very end). I highly recommend wearing lots of black underneath your suit!

I am not sure what was going on. The venue was cool. an open area with art. What more can you ask? The art was fun. The venue provided an opportunity to talk with other viewers and the artist. It was just a big social. A great thing to do if you want to meet some new people and have a new experience.

Since then I have shown at KCC numerous times, and worked with Nanci on social media workshops. It's always a great time being there. The professionalism that she has is great. She's very easy to work with for setting up a show. Having creative freedom on how the artist wants to show their work is great. Out of all the galleries and creative spaces in Pittsburgh KCC goes above and beyond for local artists new, emerging, and seasoned. We're treated with respect, care and appreciation. I really believe they should write about on the importance of supporting local artists.

It's actually irresponsible of me not to have done so sooner. This is a cool little gallery with lots of vibe. Every now and again they have exhibits with showing open to the public that are a lot of fun. Viewing art, sipping wine and meeting fellow artists, designers and art admirers is always best when in a welcoming environment. Even when they aren't having open exhibits you're able to pop in and have a look around and make purchases. Always something unique and eye-catching here. They've done it right. I spent more time and attention on getting the issue resolved than I did to plan the whole thing. While the venue has potential, the lack of attention to customer concerns and the excuses instead of results left us feeling let down. I hope the management (owner) takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future couples.

We had my mother-in-law's 100th birthday celebration this past weekend and it was an amazing event…read more The Hampton Banquet Hall coordinators were very accessible and accommodating. The staff on the night of the event was incredible, they were responsive to our needs and polite. The food was great as well. We are still getting compliments from the event. We definitely recommend them!
