All carbonara. Bread and olive oil was free but you need to ask for it if it is not given to you before meal arrives.

The pasta was good but not the best carbonara I have eaten due to the cheese it was made with. I took home the pasta and they packaged the cheese for me which was cool.

Enjoying pasta carbonara and a Italian beer!

I found this place with the help of Yelp near my Airbnb. I was in the mood for pasta and found the little italy cafe nearby. In Paris, the cafes are very small, cozy places with a home feeling. I ordered the linguini ala carbonara with a morretti beer. The portion was just right and the beer was delicious!

Tha pasta here was pretty average. I asked the server what the best thing on the menu was, some pasta with tomato sauce and cheese and its was alright. What i did appreciate was the grated parmesan they brought to the table, you can tell they grate it and that it was relatively fresh. They wait staff were all just hanging out at a corner of the restaurant and didn't bother to check on me once but i guess thats what happens when you dont work for a tip (its included in the meal price). All in all its was just decent... maybe there other pastas are better, but probably wont go back to find out.

    Chicken Salad 12€ very good!

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. It opens at 7:30 and we arrived around 7:35 and it was already pretty full. They were super friendly and our waitress spoke Spanish which helped. She kindly read all the specials in Spanish and was just super helpful. The food came out quick, we ordered pasta and a salad and they kept the bread (delicious bread) coming. The salad I ordered had fresh roasted chicken that was super good and loads of juicy tomatoes, red peppers, olives, and lots of chicken. My husband ordered the linguini Bolognese and really enjoyed it, I ate a bit of his pasta and enjoyed it as well. I went ahead and ordered dessert, it said soufflé but was more like molten lava chocolate cake, either way it was super rich and delicious. We paid 32 euro for everything, not bad considering the portions and the quality of food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Huge helping of very tasty lasagne.

The linguini with scallops was a bit too salty. Crowded tables. Generous portions.

I'm not sure how much locals love this place but the food was great. I made a last minute reservation day of and was able to snag a table. It gets booked up, I ended up staying at the bar because my friend couldn't make it. The hostess was sweet and gave me the option between table or bar either way. I had 2 rounds of their passion fruit (pornstar) martini and it was perfect. Not too sweet. I had the carbonara, cacio e pepe hybrid pasta and I loved it! The flavor was there and I paired it with their salami plate. Next time, I'll come back to try the truffle pasta. I loved the decor. When you walk in, it says not a strip club ln the ground. They have plenty of seating arrangements but I came closer to when they were ending service.

From the host who greeted me and accommodated my slight tardiness on my reservation, to the server who took my order. The vibes here are immaculate. It's very aesthetic. I would've preferred to be on the 4th floor but the 3rd floor was unique and pretty on its own. The bar was particularly eye catching. I was also very amused by my fish shaped water bottle. Regarding the food, it was really tasty. I was starving this day, and greedily ate the whole thing. The pizza had good flavor and you could taste the fresh ingredients. It was a little floppy as it was thin crust. Unfortunately they didn't cut the slices, so I had to do it myself. Not sure if that's intentional or not. The limoncello was especially refreshing on that hot day. Please note, I did have to request ice for my water. Evidently in Europe most restaurants don't provide ice freely like in the US. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, the allure of the restaurant, & the customer service. I highly recommend.

The story goes that I and the rest of my Nintendo of America colleagues had just finished up a very exciting business conference with our friends over at Nintendo of Europe. After wrap up, we decided to take a small tour around the lovely city of Paris. I, of course, took note of all of the similarities between the real Paris and the version seen in the Mario Kart Tour mobile game. I have to say, Nintendo hits it out of the park once again. We then decided to stop inside the Gemini, since that seemed to be the only restaurant name that I could pronounce. I decided to order the Truffle Pizza, and since I am from New York, I love a good pizza. The first bite and it was already heaven on earth! Truly authentic French food being served at this wonderful establishment. I am also very glad that the waiters entertained my shenanigans when asking them what they thought about Mother 3. I had a good laugh after they didn't even know what I was talking about. Excellent service, great food, and an overall fantstic time for any Nintendo fan wanting to stop in and admire the beautiful jungles of France. Also, don't forget to check out Pikmin 4, which lands in stores July 21st. Thank you for reading this highly anticipated Reggie Review, and I will see you all another time, Switch fans!

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.
