Walk into this gem on Main Street and you're greeted and seated immediately in a very clean tastefully decorated surroundings. Our waitress was pleasant, attended to our needs with cheerfulness and smiles. The restroom was very clean and well appointed. Our pizza and salad came out fast hot and delicious. Fresh tasting ingredients on a thin crust that you can hold in one hand without being soggy. Loved the Tiramisu!! Definitely the best food in this town. read more

Just had the Ceasar salad and the chicken piccata which was so butter and lemony! The service was good and the place was easy to get into no line or wait. My husband had the chicken Parmesan which he enjoyed. The portions are large and filling so we had to pass on dessert but will try that some other time. read more

Visiting Athens for the weekend this place was packed. Going to college in the 90s, we had our late night pizza place. This is exactly that kind of place but offers a wider menu. The cooking cannot keep up with the orders so it takes some time to get your pizza. The people who had take out orders had to stand in the isles to wait for their number to be called. Almost need another oven to keep up with the orders. Pizza was good. We had 4 toppings and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very kind and would come over to table and joke with us. read more

Overall my experience here was very bland. I ordered wings and a Greek salad. Both were very underwhelming. My salad consisted of three olives, iceberg lettuce, a few slivers of onion and feta. Not worth what I paid. We had cheesecake for desert which was frozen but tasty. The restroom seemed clean but had an odor. Nice little Italian eatery in downtown McCormick, SC. We were traveling and just happened to be near McCormick at dinner time, so we decided to give it a try - and we're so glad we did! We love Little Italy and usually go for either late lunch or early dinner. Greek salad, gyros, and pizza are all fantastic. Burgers great also. Service can be slow when the place gets packed during peak hours, so be ready to hang out and enjoy some conversation with your friends/ family if you chose to hit them at 6pm read more

We didn't think we would find anything much in the way of a good restaurant in McCormick. We saw this place and really didn't think it held much promise from the rather plain look of the exterior and the name. Boy were we wrong! The Italian dishes my cousin and I had were excellent! A friend got the fried flounder and fries and said the fish was average but the fries were not very good. I got a chicken, pasta, lemon dish which was very good! My cousin got the classic lasagna and declared it to be the best he had ever tasted. The service was not fast, so don't go if you are rushed. However the wait for your food is well worth it! Plan on sitting and enjoying your time there with family and friends. I'll be back as soon as I can. read more

We've eaten here many times, so we chose to go there a few nights ago for dinner. No pizza on a Wednesday, so we ordered entrees. We got our drink orders in after waiting 10 minutes to order. We got to order our food 15 minutes in. Because my husband had taken his insulin already, we were looking forward to our meals. After an additional 15-20 minutes, the young waitress came out with the menu and told my husband they didn't have what he ordered anymore. He was unhappy and told her she should have told us 15 minutes before. She replied rudely that she just found out (hadn't she put the order in yet?). She stomped around, throwing menus and said we should just leave and not come back. We were already half out the door, having left money on the table for the drinks. She should be FIRED. read more

Was not sure what to expect but this restaurant had been recommended to us a couple times so we decided to try it out. Walking in we could quickly see you clean it was and was greeted and the door promptly. The food was delicious and we even took cheesecake for the ride home. My second try......food is pricey! Hiwever, I don't mind paying for GOOD food. I ordered sphagettI with meat sauce . Horrible , best part of the meal was the bread and tea. I ate maybe 1/4 of the spaghetti . I didn't want to be so hungry when I get home. The first time I stopped in, I ordered a chicken zorba sub. No taste whatsoever. My dogs got the first meal and they will get this one too. Sort of expensive meal for your dog and I'm still hungry! read more

Twice we have been charged an additional $4 on top of our meal price. Once for sharing fries between the 2 of us over lunch and 2nd for asking if they could add a little additional white sauce to their somewhat dry pasta dish. Was hoping for a little change up of restaurants in Mccormick but we will never be back to Little Italy Pizzera. read more

I have never reviewed this place and to be honest I don't know why. My husband, father in law and I went to eat here a few months ago because we had never tried it before and it was something new so we figured "ah, why not?" We tried some sort of Italian pizza and needless to say, it was terrible. It was too thick, the topping on the pizza were disgusting, and all around we just did not the enjoy the pizza at all. We also had gotten mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and those were good, but really of course, how do you mess those up unless you serve them frozen? Anyways, we didn't like the pizza very much but we had a very good server and she was very interested in our lives and very friendly and talkative. I don't remember her name but hopefully she'll be there if we ever decide to give it another try. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! I ordered The Taste of Italy. The veal was rancid. Unfortunately, I'd already eaten the small lasagna portion of the meal. I quietly asked the server to confirm that the meat was indeed rotten, and she did. I sent the plate back and asked for my check, only to find out I'd been charged for an entire lasagna plate. My first and last time at this place, I was not at all impressed. We came in from out of town and was starving and decided to stop in and grab a pizza to go. I thought that it was a little odd that there was only one couple in there. So, I ordered a medium 12" House Supreme pizza for $16.99 and asked for extra cheese and a very small container of banana peppers, like maybe 4 pepper rings. The young lady at the register rang me up and said that will be $30.23. Didn't think much of it until I got the receipt and I was like, "Really $30.23 for a medium pizza with extra cheese???". I then noticed that there was a $9.00 charge for the extra cheese and banana peppers AND there is a $2.00 fee for using my card. I realize anytime you get something "extra", there is going to be an extra charge, but $9.00 for extra cheese on a 12" pizza?! I don't mind paying extra for something that I want, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for it. This is just an insane amount to charge! Not to mention, the pizza hardly had any flavor! I've had Totino pizzas that tasted better! We come to McCormick several times a year to fish, but we will not be going back to this place! read more

Little Italy is a crazy place because the menu is enormous. It reminds me of a diner menu, where they have a seemingly limitless supply of various items. It really is impressive. If you bring several people here, there is definitely something for everyone. As far as pizza quality goes - it ranks amongst the most average of pizza places that are found in any other town or city. The lamb gyro is one of the best I've ever had, and I lived in New Jersey. The girlfriend enjoys the meat calzone, which is loaded and more than ample. She gets 3 meal out of it. They serve alcohol. A medium to small sized restaurant with several flat screens showing whatever the customers request. I usually ask for SportsCenter. They have a pretty large menu to choose from. The hot sandwiches are pretty good and the pasta dishes are fair. Pizza is mediocre. My complaints are that the service is incredibly hit or miss. On more than one occasion I have gone in by myself and waited 30 minutes before getting my food. My other issue is that they have no idea what a stromboli is or how to make it. So if you're looking for a stromboli then stay away. Haven't tried their calzone. read more

We decided to come here when we were looking for restaurants in McCormick. The menu was pretty impressive and had quite a variety of things. I had the calzone even though I could not figure out the difference between the calzone and the stromboli. It seemed like a cheese steak, but that was because I got it with steak, cheese and mushrooms. I would recommend it, but I'm not sure how good the pizza is. read more

The food here is superb. We always have the Mediterranean pizza with the lamb gyro on it. You have to look beyond the service, do not be in a rush and eat here. The service is terrible. We eat here lots and this time there were waitresses doing nothing because it would appear that we were not sitting at "their" table and our waitress was very busy. They really need a front of house manager to sort the service out. I guess most people except this and put up with it. The Philly cheese steak calzone was excellent; the crust was fantastic! It was among the best crusts I've ever eaten. Marinara was thin, but with very good flavor and was plenty for the calzone (don't you hate it when you only get a little ramekin of marinara to go with a huge calzone?). The food was good...very good. The service was bad...very bad. I was in there with only one other couple and the service was sluggish. Waited way to long in an empty restaurant for my order to be taken. Skip it if you're in a hurry, stick around if you want an excellent meal. read more

Pizza was good, just slightly bland but still was good. The crust was excellent and the pizza came out hot. Although I thought pizza was a tad bit bland, my two kids.... 14 & 12, thought is was excellent pizza... It did seem to be good quality pizza. Dessert: Cheesecake was excellent, and although the key lime pie wasnt pretty, it was good. Soft drinks: good, waitress kept our drinks full with no problem. Atmosphere: Dining area is clean, table floor and televisions clean. The front doors need to be cleaned though especially at the bottom of doors they were dirty. The dessert case needed cleaning, it had crumbs from desserts all down in the bottom. Some sort of decorative face masks were scattered throughout the restaurant and they were not pretty and kind of freaky, they don't look Italian and don't really go with decor for an Italian restaurant in my opinion. There were some other decorations that were better and more in line with Italy in there. The bathroom: Smelled horrible. Not sure what was going on with it but perhaps needs a venting fan. Staff: Our waitress was very nice. Very effiencient and made sure we had everything we needed quickly. She was personable. She mentioned she lives in Plum Branch and that she is from Augusta. She was friendly and I would eat there again because she seemed to care about making our dining experience good. I cannot remember her name unfortunately.
